  14. Hope they won’t detect spun content.
  15. I wonder what algorithm they are using to detect spam content. Naive Bayes classifier may be? Very interesting from a programming point-of-view. :)

  21. Well, at the moment, we don’t know how good the ReCaptcha v3 service is going to be.
  22. Gonna be interesting though.
  23. This thing is worse than cancer, it's pure bullshit, they completely fu**** that one up. It's not even anti spam, it's "anti anything by 90% random".
  24. Why? Well:
  25. Check out this URL to see your spamscore https://recaptcha-demo.appspot.com/recaptcha-v3-request-scores.php
  26. Reloaded it a few times and saw how my score dropped.
  27. Restarted my router to get a fresh and legit IP. Score is up again.
  28. Reload a few times. Score down.
  29. Starting chrome in incognito. Score Up, reloading score down.
  30. Played around with cookies, cache and other browser stuff and it makes no sense at all in relation to bots or spam.
  31. I would even say that it's a shame for google to put something at this state on the open market. Every other custom coded solution for anti spam would be way better and more reliable.
  32. Why it's not anti spam but anti doing anything? If reddit would implement it you would not be able to upvote more than 1 post every 10 minutes for a few hours and than not be able anymore for days. Haven't done anything on my PC for 24h and it's still 0.1 for no reason even if everything I do is completely legit.
  33. This thing is RNG garbage. Asked a captcha solver service and they told me that nearly every of their "workers" have a 0.1 score.

  36. maybe you should have read what it says on top?
  37. "NOTE:This is a sample implementation, the score returned here is not a reflection on your Google account or type of traffic."
  38. thats probably why its like a RNG ;)

  43. Yes, it says that. And to have a comparison I also browsed websites which actually implemeted a real usage of v3 and got same results.
  44. Similar results +- 0.2 so the website is a good representation to try out how it works. It was even worse on real sites, the more I did (naturally) the worse the score got.
  45. This thing is not able to determine natural behaviour at all, AI isn't even close to be at this point whre it can completely manage such important tasks.
  46. What I found out is that it relies on:
  47. - IP (heavily)
  48. - Cookies (somehow)
  49. - Cache(somehow)
  50. I also think that it pretty much uses everything you can get with javascript like screen resolution, language settings, incognito mode, webrtc, useragent, browserversion etc.
  51. A few years ago I stumbled accros this website http://ip-check.info. Do the test and see the pure horror in what recaptcha v3 can check.
  52. As long as I don't have to click on the store fronts or stop lights 3 times in a row..

  54. Depending on your activity it might even be worse because you can do nothing reasonable about it.

  64. I agree with the IP.
  65. Would mean that if I send multiple requests to a website (with Google ReCaptcha v3) over a time span of let′s say 10 minutes, they probably gonna lower my rank due to it flagging it as possible spam?
  66. Btw, as far as I know it′s just more like a "Beta" or at least I haven′t seen many website using the ReCaptcha v3, luckily.

  70. Yes, it's a beta but if you stumble across a site that uses is you got a big issue. Personally I wouldn't call this a beta. It feels like an alpha or test build. This shows somehow that you can not expect much from it in the future.
  71. I voted 5 times , twice per minute and got from 0.7->0.1 and was not able to get back without restarting my router. You might be marked as a spammer very fast. The spam score stayed for all sites, I read an article where google confirms that they cross check between domains.
  72. There are indeed workarounds but damn, it's going to burn your brain getting ideas because most solutions need to be individual and might even turn out expensive.
  73. Read a post of a webmaster who implemented recaptcha on a regular site and set the score to 0.2(default 0.5). Still half of his traffic was marked as spam. This thing simply doesn't work.

  78. Well the captcha itself isn′t the biggest problem, but they also mentioned they are checking reviews/comments or text boxes, where you can enter content in general.
  79. That′s gonna break some legs if they detect spun content or multiple comments below blogs.
