- Final attempt.
- Staring out in the water as he felt the breeze flying around him. Kyo struggled multiple times to get the slightest indication of using water magic. It's been almost half a year and he hasn't made any progress other that throwing his hands out infront of him towards the lake below. Which to be honest. Made him feel quite embrassed. But he kept at it. Kept on trying to figure out how to manifeast the will to manipulate the element of water to his will. But he was soon losing hope.
- Doubt started filling his head as he stared out towards the water. Looking at his own reflection as he stared at himself in the eye. Thinking of how much of a disappointment he was. Out of everyone. HE was a magi. HE was a Drakanite. Heck with it. He was pratically made up of magic in a way. But he couldn't do a thing to even move the lake a little bit. Which made him wonder if that was the real reason why his parents left him in the first place.
- Being frustrated, Kyo kicked the grass beneathe him before focusing back to the water.
- Reaching out once more. He tryed to focus on moving the water to his will. Feeling something embrace his soul, he continued concentrating on it. A strange sensation began to run through his body. Warning him inside as the soothing eerie feeling moved within him. Spreading throughout his entire body. Excited more than ever, he tried to calm his breaths, taking deep ones. In through his nose and out through his mouth. Hoping that something would happen. He didn't want to jinx it yet. So he held onto hope and continued to focus on the water. Trying to make something out of it. Something....... a bubble! The book said that the basics was about making a bubble first! So thats what he attempted to do. Try and raise an orb of water from within the lake. Excitement raised within him as he felt something moving. Something happening.
- Opening his eyes with glee! He saw nothing happening infront of him. Nothing happening at all. Dismal hit his eyes as he stared at the unmoving waters with disappointment. Utter. Disappointment. That was it. He was probably the only Drakanite to never be able to actually manipulate the elements to his will. He was a Drakanite, and couldn't do something as simple as this.
- Rage hit him as he swung his outstreched arms to his sides in a fit of rage as he exclaimed "Dammit!".
- Suddenly, something infront of him expanded and combusted. Throwing him backwards on his rear end. Shocked beyond all odds. Kyo looked upwards at the clearing in pain. Wondering if anyone had throw him to the ground for no other reason than being a brat. But in his case. No one was actually around him, or even paying him attention. Which made him wonder. What HAD happened.
- Frowning, he stood up awkwardly and walked over to the water. Staring at it in wonder. Then trying the same thing again, he felt that it was much easier. Then he realized. He wasn't controlling water.... No! He was controlling wind.
- Air flowed between his clothing as he breezed about. Sudden humor hit Kyo as he started to laugh with glee as he controlled a small weak torret of wind around him as he controlled it about. Laughing

- A slow moving blob flowed through the water. Enjoying leisure time swimming. A blob only known as a Mimic would appear from the depths, dragging itself firmly to shore. Of course the small black goo ball enjoyed it's playtime in the water. Of course when it came to shore, it rolled up and balled up. a small tendril poking the boy. It was a curious attempt at copying him. His form and everything to see more about him, learn somewhat how his mana worked. It would mean nothing by it, and if it did succeed, it'd slowly release it's hold on him, simply switching the form up to an ungodly pale child with green hair and sienna eyes.
- It was something the mimic tried often to mimic it's own human form. To become itself. An entity transcending a doppleganger. Even a source. It was just... Ankh.
- That was the fun part. Of course a childish goo like giggle escaped it's mouth as it sheepishly pulled away.
- "This one is strange. Unlike other leglings!"
- (Ankh)
- The strange encounter.
- "Hahahaha!" he exclaimed as he caused a flurry of air to wrap around his form. The mere thing was amazing. He was finally able to conjure magic to his will! It sure did take some time but it was totally worth in the end.
- To busy in his own movements, Kyo found himself twirling around to only get poked by some black tar thing. Panicked. He jumped back and stared at the weird tendril as it went back to its source he assumed.
- Staring up, he saw nothing.
- "Strange..." he whispered to himself as he walked away from the spot as he began to start playing with his new found element

- More studying.
- Hurrying back into the Orphanage. Kyo made a beeline straight for the book case. There, it was obvious what he had to do. Reaching across he placed the book of water magic for novices back into the slot. There he went to go scanning for the Wind Magic book. Which didn't take him long, but only a couple of minutes for him to spot the book. Which he also wasted no time to taking off the book shelf and bringing it down within his hands. Smiling, he couldn't wish for anything better.
- "Alright. Time to get studying again." he said to himself as he lowered his body towards the ground.
- Flipping open the book. He saw the title.
- Wind Magics By Abollian Nevil.
- 'Interesting' he thought to himself as he flipped over to the other pages.
- "Fore-word" he read outloud " In the case that the reader of this book is an am-a-teur. Or nov-ice at energy control, it is strongly recom-mend-ed that you stop now before harm is done to your body." he read. But got rather tired of having things telling him that he wasn't ready for them. So he skipped the rest and went on to the first chapter.
- "What is wind?" he continued
- "Before one would learn..... control an element. One must realize what.... consists of it..... what is wind?..... series..... within.... uni-verse.... blah" He said as he wanted to get to the good stuff. To learn how to actually use wind magic itself.
- "Half of these words I don't even know..." he muttered to himself as he read down the line.
- "Simple! Ah! Simple concept, one can easily now try it. Exter-nalize. Focus, and push the nothingness, which is air, and make it a simple breeze..... Alright thats simple... But I already can do this." he said softly to himself as he started to focus on his surroundings, and seconds later would he feel a slight breeze blowing around him.
- 'So this is what can bring about that chilling feeling of Ice....' he thought as a small gust flew around the surrounding. 'Alright. Skip this next chapter. Is there anything else there is to learn? For Water there was whips, bubbles, and a blast of water... There has to be something...- Oh! There it is!'
- Happily, Kyo quickly examined the chapter.
- "Form two. Whirl winds" he said softly outloud.
- "ehh more words I don't know. A whirlwind is a series of ro-tary forces which is created by as.... a what? Quasi- cy-lin-dri-cal? Whhaaat?....... Whatever. Utility of such a magic is only to damage or increase mobility as it is realtive-ly easier to maintain than other types of constant magics. Ehh.... All of this other stuff is just too complex..... Well the title is whirlwind. Well maybe it means like making a whirl wind around yourself? It does say mobility..... and damage.... so just maybe.. I don't know." he said as he closed the rather complex book.
- "Well..... I should just give it a try then...." he said softly before standing up and placing the book back into the shelf.
- Kyo then walked towards the exit of the Orphanage and went to his usual training spot
- (Kyo Kamikaze)
- Whirl Wind.
- Thinking about going to his original spot for training. He thought about it and realized that it would probably be better if he actually went outside and tested this out. He didn't want to accidentally blow someone away. Or worse. Hurt someone.
- Smiling as he controlled the very winds that he walked with, he pushed them all over himself as he came out of Nostvale but hugged the water that surrounded the city.
- "Time to try it"
- Calming his mood, Kyo closed his eyes and outstretched his hands towards his sides as long as he could. It was strange technique he was trying. But still, he thought it would work.
- Focusing on the 'nothingness' around him. He felt the same eerie feeling puslate throguhout his body. but this time. It felt rather. Familiar. Giving a rather warm feeling to him as he felt his body externally reach out and affect the elements of air around him, and before he knew it. He felt nothing. Nothing at all.
- Which made him push it a little harder. Coming down too it. Kyo found rather windy, his body started to shift side to side as he began to feel wind surrounding him. What was going on? Afraid to open his eyes. It took him quite a while to finally pry his own eyes open with pure will power. But he might have regretted it because he was pretty high in the sky. Looking down upon the ground he saw that he was levitating. Lifting himself up from the ground..
- Mouth agape. The view was beautiful. Kyo has never been up so high before. Which made him start to question if he was dreaming or not. "This is crazy!" he exclaimed.
- But the second he exclaimed that. He lost concentration and fell straight out of the air. Falling straight into the water beside him. Exclaiming outwards in shock. He tried to conjure up another whip of whirlwind to save him from such a fall into the water. Which he managed for a second, before falling a few feet below again, to only keep himself afloat once more. Before losing all concentration once more and falling face first into the water face first.
- Drowning. Kyo felt himself fall deep within the waters out side of Nostvale's wall. Panicking. The boy had no idea as to what to do. What was there TO do!? Looking around Kyo tried to push himself up. But it just wasn't working. The sword on his back was too heavy. His measely little body weight was simply too small to carry the sword and his drenched clothing up towards the surface. In action, his body just continued to fall deeper and deeper until he neared the lake floor.
- His eye sight started to become dizzy as he saw the sunlight above the lake's surface. But the further down he went. The less of the light he saw. Frantic, he thought of ways of how he could do this. Maybe making a air bubble? But for that to work. He needed to actually make a bubble with water. It wasn't going to work with just wind. Plus there was no space for air to break into this deep place.
- As a last ditch effort. Using all his knowledge about using wind magic. He attempted to do it with the water that surrounded him. But again. Nothing was working. So he tried harder and harder. Hoping for something to happen. But it didn't....
- Water suddenly broke into his lungs as he couldn't hold in his breath any longer. Losing vision, he felt the lake water enter his mouth and later would fill his lungs with its liquid. Leaving Kyo with the lasting vision of bubbles of air floating towards the surface.
- Feeling himself fading. He reached out once more. He just wanted air. Just wanted.... to breathe again...
- With one last attempt, focusing on the air bubbles that was slowly floating towards the surface. He tried once more. Giving it his all as the eerie warming feeling renetered his body as he attempted to mimic that exact same thing around his face.
- But to him. It seemed like he didn't do anything. But for some reason, as his feet hit the lake bottom. He could suddenly see again, and he suddenly had the urge to vomit out the water in his mouth. Coughing like a maniac. Kyo spat out all the water he could get out as he threw up many times over as he sat at the bottom of the lake. Quickly realizing what happened. He reached out to the air bubbles that floated up around him. He gathered as much as he could to add in onto his own. It was also then. That he realized. As his vomit floated up and spreaded outwards infront of him in the water. Was that his clothes and body was still wet and was inside of the water still. It was just his face that was soaking weat but not submerged anymore. Making him understand. That he did it! He made a bubble!
- Weak to the bones. The excitement was just enough for him to feel his body weaken out. He burned too much mana within one day, and this accomplishment was just enough for his adernaline to run out and cause his air bubble to break with the lack of concentration and manipulation. Before he knew it. Water broke in and clouded his vision once more. It was only then that he saw multiple dark figures hover above him and stretch out smaller and longer black things towards him, and being the exhausted state that he was in. He couldn't do anything but just give in, and so he did. Fading away to the darkness
- (Kyo Kamikaze)
- Near death experience
- 1!.... 2!..... 3!....
- Voices? What are these....? Who are those voices? Oof!
- Having his center thrusted down on. He puked out more water as he turned over to his side, coughing out the lake's liquid like a madman. Confused as beyond everything else in the world. He saw the guards of Nostvale stand over him with satisfying grins. Each of them asking if he was okay and if he needed to be taken to a doctor. Or yelling at him for doing such a reckless thing. Still confused. Kyo just smiled. He was just happy that he learned the two elements that he needed to learn. Making him al the more satisified.
- After half an hour. Kyo finally gained the strength to sit up as he stared at everyone clearly now and thanked each one of them. It wasn't long before he recieved help to stand up and was brought inside of Nostvale so he could sit down someone and regain his strength
