Description: Adkins was burglarizing her home when Catherine came home. He jumped on her with such force that he broke her back, leaving her paralyzed and mute while he grabbed a bread knife. Her carotid artery had been cut, and she had been stabbed in the back of the neck and nearly decapitated.
