Bio:

 Sara Ottesen was born in the then-new city of Fonal a few years after the end of the Last Dragon War. Her parents, both minor nobles
and  officers in the Hero King's army, joined the government there and settled down in the city. Sara was an only child, and enjoyed
the undivided attention of her parents throughout her childhood. A staple of her childhood were the stories that her parents told of
their time in the Hero King's army as he waged war to free the continent, and Sara's imagination was captured.

 Sara's parents saw her enthusiasm for their tales and encouraged her to follow in their footsteps. Almost as soon as she was old
enough to hold a practice sword, Sara began her training. Practicing alone or sparring with the skilled tutors that her parents
 hired, she found that she had an aptitude for the blade. Encouraged, she doubled down and even began spending large amounts of her
 free time in the practice chambers, setting her eyes on no less a target than the royal guard.

 When she came of age, she joined the military, easily settling in to the martial life as she looked to her next goal. A few years
 after that her swordsmanship (and some connections of her parents) won her a spot in the royal guard, only a few months before the
Hero King abdicated the throne.

 Sara was raised with relative privilege and received a noble's education. This has left her with a well-developed sense of justice,
 but combined with her relatively sheltered upbringing has left her with a certain naivety and rather inflexible opinions. Like her
 fellows, she is greatly loyal to the royal family. She is greatly self-confident, though not quite to the point of arrogance, but
 does not always realize the social advantages she has as a noble.
