  37. _____________________________________________________
  38.
  39. errors:
  40.
  41. not starting:
  42.
  43. A. make sure you installed everything right. if you used the auto method, retry with the manual method. Check to make sure the mods
  44. didn't get updated or something
  45.
  46. B. if you are using desktop mode, you still need to install vivecraft, can install the desktop client version of vivecraft
  47. installer
  48.
  49. C. try allocating more ram, a few anons needed to increase the ram to get it to boot properly
  50.
  51. controllers not working in game:
  52.
  53. make sure steam is open, vivecraft depends on the steam bindings for the controllers
  54.
  55. minimap is bugged, has black or white sections or on all of it:
  56.
  57. go to in to the instance folder: .minecraft/local/ftbchunks/data/ , go into any folder in there and delete all the image files in
  58. it. it will have to regenerate the map images, but they should generate properly this time
  59.
  60. "opengl error 1281"
  61.
  62. can safely ignore this, but in the case it gets spammed, it can take cpu time and hard drive space for the log errors, so moving
  63. geographically away from the area causing the error will stop that from happening. Turning off render regions in the settings may
  64. help prevent it from happening on your end.
  65.
  66. "flashing" graphical error when breaking some blocks:
  67.
  68. switch from internal shader to "none" shader in settings
