Well, you see, my launcher has never worked for me, I've always had to play Minecraft in-browser. And now that I want to download mods, I have to use the launcher. The thing is, it ALWAYS blackscreens, no matter what. I log in, and it just goes forever black... Never even crashes, no error report. I completely deleted the .minecraft folder, I've re-downloaded the launcher, I've tried anything. I started a topic like this a couple weeks ago, with no success. A guy said it was probably my graphics card, and that most people with RADEON graphic cards were having issues. Now, if this is the problem, does anyone know why? I tried updating and I don't think any updates are available for them. I'm not even 100% sure this is the problem.
It's just, I paid $15 for this game, I'd sorta like to play it now.

Any help? Please?


Edit 1: I have the latest version of Java, have not used a pirated version before, and I use the second option for the download of the launcher. Oh, and I'm running Windows XP.
