Love has taken a toll on Anon Ymous' body, the lack of real sleep had left a mark on him. He wouldn't trade it for anything though. His lover was everything he ever dared imagine. A bit clingy, sure, but the sights she could show him... At the cost of a little sanity.

Anon was seeminly alone in the library, a lot of students walked past him and never realized that the ravenclaw boy was with someone.
"You are not focusing, Anon." a otherworldly whisper scolded him.
"None of these runes are anything remotely like what we learn normally, Jane." Anon defended himself.
"No one learns this script, because it turns weaker minds insane."
"Well, you can forgive me for taking my time with it then, right?"
"your mind has been inoculated."
"I know, but it doesn't make this much easier." Anon said sighing tiredly.
"I could give you an incentive to do better"
Anon felt the girl shift, she had taken into slumbering in his shadow. It felt strange at first, being able to sense the girl's presence at all times. But it was comforting now, nothing could ever hurt him, well nothing except her...
"What are you..." Anon asked and was shut up by the sensation of the girl moving under his robes. The girl started compressing around him, she was now in the shadows cast by his clothes and she was applying pressure around his body.
"J-jane..." Anon gasped.
"One more word..." She whispered in his ear.
The boy went back to the book and tried to look for familiar letters, he was fledgling trying to read these eldritch scriptures, so the girl simply made him learn the script first, before teaching him the language.
"This one..." He gasped and pointed at a word.
"You know the first letter..." The girl whispered.
"I can't rememb..." The boy said but couldn't get the words out, the girl had started pressing his throat and lungs. He made a strange gargling noise.
"Good, try that again..."
The boy let out a gargle, followed by almost inaudible purr and finally a gasp punctuated by a click.
"Stairs" The girl said giving the boy a little respite, but still keeping pressure on him.
"You choked me, so you could make me say stairs?" Anon asked gasping for air.
"You enjoyed it..." The girl whispered mischievously.
Anon realized he actually had, he was starting to get hard, just the thought of the girl controlling his breathing from the shadows under his robes made him crazy.
"Enough studying for today, my poor little pet..." the girl whispered.
"Alright, come out of my shadow now, Jane." Anon said.
"No! I am enjoying this... Go on, you must be famished."
"I can't, move if you press on me like that..."
The girl released the boy, but kept some pressure on him.
"Just as a reminder that I am here..."
"I don't need a reminder of your presence, my love." Anon said and got up.
Anon just picked up the tome from the table and placed it on his shadow, A gaping maw appeared on it and pulled the tome in.


Anon walked in the great hall and sat next to Rowan at the dinner table.
"Hello, Anon." Rowan said. "You look terrible, you should see Pomfrey about your trouble sleeping
"I don't have trouble sleeping, in fact I will never need sleep again." Anon said smiling.
"Ha, funny, but you seriously look terrible." Rowan said concerned
"He's right, you know.." Anon heard a whisper in his head. "You need to take better care of your body, my love."
Anon pulled his robe back and looked under his collar, there were a pair of eyes staring at him.
"Not entirely my fault..." Anon whispered.
"Did you say something, Anon?" Rowan asked.
Anon felt a pressure around his neck.
"No... Pass me the mashed potatoes."
"So, how's things going with you and Jane? you've been going out for a while now." Rowan asked
"It's going great." Anon said smiling as he was piling mashed potatoes on his plate. "She's everything I could hope for and I am glad I had the courage to talk to her."
"And mental integrity not to go immediately insane." The girl whispered.
"That's great to hear, Anon." Rowan said. "At first I was wondering what you saw in her, but you two look great together."
"H-haha, yeah..." Anon said as he started piling greasy sausages on his plate.
"I can't imagine my life witho..." The boy was cut short when he felt pressure around his body, making it difficult to breathe.
"Eat some vegetables too, Anon Ymous..." The girl said with a stern demanding voice.
"Is everything alright?" Rowan asked concerned about Anon's sudden pause.
"Everything is fine, I just inhaled wrongly." Anon said and coughed a little. "Pass me the steamed broccoli, please"


Later that evening, Anon was ready to go to bed, he was undressing when he felt the girl emerge from his shadow.
"Jane... What are you doing?" Anon asked surprised. "What if someone sees you?"
"Relax, only you can see me right now." The girl said smiling. "Stop talking audibly and no one will think you're insane."
The girl climbed into Anon's bed and waited for the boy there. Anon slipped next to the girl.
"So, what do you want to do then?" The boy asked excited.
"Sleep." The girl answered smiling.
"W-what... Really, just sleep?" Anon sounded disappointed.
"Just sleep, and no dreams." The girl said sternly.
"Why?" The boy asked.
"Your body needs sleep... I have been selfish, and you're paying the toll." The girl said pouting
"It's not really selfish if we both want it." The boy reasoned. "What about your gift?"
"I am protecting your soul, but your body is still frail. Your lack of rest is starting to affect you."
"I'm fine, really..." Anon said dismissively.
"You can't neglect sleep." The girl warned.
"We're just going to cuddle and sleep then?" Anon asked.
"Is there a problem?" The girl asked and smiled, baring her sharp teeth.
"No, I love cuddling with you." The boy said. "Alright, no dreams..."
"Maybe a little dreams..." The girl smiled.
Anon just sighed contently and pulled the soft hufflepuff girl closer.
