# Final Chapter "The Story of Hope (part 1)"

Voyce finally appeared. He revealed to Wol that he was never disappear. He decided to watch how it turns out and not talking. Wol taunt him that he used to never shutup and that he had to keep quiet for a long time, he must felt very lonely why not come and meet him in person. Voyce told him that he has no role in this story, he's just a voice in this world. He said that even if Wol don't want to take part in the story, the story already continues and that all people around him are now involved. He then send Sophie to the tower, he had to given a role to Sophie. Whether Sophie will kill all the soldiers, decided to join hands with Warrior of Destruction or whatever, he was looking forward to it. Wol reluctantly had to take part in this story and went after Sophie. This will be the best story ever unfold said Voyce.

Sophie was actually not Sophie. the one we call "Sophie", no one knows her true name. She was shown illusions by the runes, was touched by the lead role in that story, and was made into that role of "Sophie". With the power of hope and its ability to overwrite person's memory, she thought of herself as "Sophie" and forgot who she really was...

Wol decided to go and help Sophie even if she's not actually "Sophie". He thought of her as a kouhai (junior) who he can't really get along with and didn't want her to destroy her trust between her and her friends at tower.

Voyce spawned monsters to slow Wol down, but the monsters were really weak. The echos clan questioned why Voyce did something like this but they decided to just let him do what he wanted since he stayed quiet for a very long time.

Wol told Echo that if she was worried about Sophie, she can go ahead. Echo teased and asked whether he was bored with her, even though they haven't met for a long time. Wol then said that because he knew that Echo didn't want to meet him and she had been avoiding him, if it's not for Sophie being like this they would never have met again. Echo confessed that she didn't have the courage to meet with him, at least she didn't want it to be like this. She wanted him to forget about everything just live a normal life in Omega village and not caught up in this distorted story ever again. Echo then teased Wol again whether he was jealous of her going on an adventure with Sophie while he had nothing to do in the village. He countered with he didn't care and she can do whatever she wanted. Echo then replied that this is what she wanted, she wanted to be with Wol and guide him to Sophie.

Echo told Wol about a little bit about her adventure with Sophie. She told him that Sophie isn't like him, she didn't doubt everything like he did. She was careless and always got herself in danger. But there was something about her, she just kept moving forward, and when she moved forward everyone else can then move forward too. She was the completely opposite of the doubtful Wol. She had faith in hope and the future and with that Palamecia changed the world around her. But maybe her feeling was too deep. She trust the story shown by the runes too much and forgot the true self. Because Echo was the one guided Sophie, she felt responsible and wanted to help her.

One of the top of echo clan was furious as to why Voyce only sent weak enemies to Wol's way. They confused whether Voyce wanted him to reach tower or wanted to slow him down. It's true that Voyce is the one who writes the plan and the script but it's the echos clan to manage or so to say be the director and management team. They should be the one who decided what to do not Voyce. The other higher ups in the clan told the top to just wait and see as it was getting interesting.

Wol asked Echo if she had known from the start that Sophie was not "Sophie". She told him that she didn't know. She knew that it was weird that everything went as Sophie wanted but she believed it was her will power which changed the world to what fits her. She didn't knew that Sophie was used since the beginning so she tried to protect her from Palamecia. She thought that Voyce and the clan just started noticing Sophie after she made a huge changed to the tower. Wol asked about the true role of echos clan and whether Echo was being sent here to fool him. She teased Wol that she might back stab him soon. Wol replied that it was all predictable since it was Echo. She then said that then she won't do it since it wouldn't be fun if he already know what's coming. Back to serious business, she told him that he was always monitored by the clan and Voyce since the he was still at Omega village. To keep him from ruining his plan but now it he finally came out of his hiding so it must mean that no matter what Wol does, it won't affect the plan or maybe he finished preparing for Wol to play his role.

Voyce reached out to Wol again and show him that the stage had been set for the story of hope and despair. The stage was Tower of Hope. The leading bad guy, Graff, was marching to the tower with his army of fiends. The Saviour of Hope, Sarah, is preparing her soldiers to fight against him. And now it's time for Wol to take part in his role. That this was the opening of the fateful final conclusion fight of Palamecia. Wol told Voyce that he will end this distorted story by his hand and rushed to the tower. Voyce then mumbled to himself, "Yes. To end this story, you're needed. This story of hope and despair, the last one to seek this is you"

Graff declared the started of the fight. He declared that he will change this place, the place where people who were guided by the runes that came here with hope. He will change its name from "Tower of Hope" to "Graveyard of Hope". On the other side, Sarah and Meia ordered her soldiers to fend off the monsters and the two of them will face this Warrior of Destruction themselves. Sarah told her soldiers to use everyone's power to open the path to victory, reunited our feeling and victory shall be in their grasps.

After the soldiers left for the battlefield, Meia asked whether Sarah felt anxious that her brother wasn't with them. "If he's here, I'll definitely rely on him" Meia then went on and asked "you're done with relying on him?" "I don't want to be tied down anymore ..." answered Sarah.

Meia and Sarah with the help from the soldiers finally got to Graff and fought with him. They defeated Graff and after the soldiers saw that they all filled with hope and light of hope sparkles from their bodies. After Graff, Sophie came to the battlefield. Graff revived and back away from where Meia and Sarah. The soldiers then started to follow Graff to fight him as they wanted to fight, they were fully drunk in hope. No one had fear, they were full of confidence that they could overcome anything and follow Graff, follow all strong monsters. Meia realized that they were drunk and needed to be stopped but words can't reach them so she and Sarah decided to follow Graff and defeat him first before more sacrifices are made.

The soldiers chased after Graff and fought monsters along the way, they all acted weird and didn't care for their safety or allies at all. They just pushed their way through with suicidal actions, friendly fires were all over the place, no one cared to spared their stamina and most died to the monsters.

Wol caught up to Meia and Sarah. Wol told them that they needed to strike down these soldiers themselves to save them so they won't be killed by monsters.

Two of the top of echos clan were talking. One was furious that Voyce let Wol got to the place and now their plan was ruined. The other one told her to calm down and that the plan is going well as Voyce written. The furious one then scolded the other one that why should they echo clans should follow Voyce's script. The calm one asked why wouldn't she understand. The calm one then disappeared and reappeared in front of her with all the other higher ups with ring of light around her body. The furious one now realized that all the echos beside her were controlled by Voyce. She finally understood that since the Palamecia system was broken when Chaos was defeated they lost controlled and now Voyce can control them whenever he feels like it. Voyce had hidden this ability of his all along, he pretended that he only had the ability to talk and nothing else. Voyce finally took control of the last black robe echo and decided that this is the last stage of his script.

Wol and co reached Graff. Graff told them that no matter what they tried they can't kill him, he'll always revive again. At that moment the echos popped up and said that if Graff just kept reviving after getting defeated the story wouldn't be fun and that it was finally time for despair to strike back. As Sarah saw the ring of light around echos she realized something and said "That light, that power..." . Voyce took control of Graff and poured all the despair energy into him. Wol and co then fought with Graff and Sophie.

Wol defeated Graff and Sophie once again but this time the chaos power burst out from Graff and left him. Graff regain conciousness and his old self, went to Sophie's side. The soldiers caught up to them but they were all still drunk and told Wol to kill off Warrior of Destruction, Graff, to bring back the hope to Palamecia.

"Each and everyone of them drunk on this hope" said Wol
"That's not it onii-san" Sarah walked up to Wol to stop him
"What's deceiving them isn't hope it's ...
that's Voyce's power! It's Voyce's power to control people's mind"
was Sarah told everyone.

Voyce popped up
"hu hu hu, now now now. This is an interesting turn of event"

Wol said to Voyce
"There's nothing to be surprised, your plan is ..."

Voyce cut in
"Are you misunderstanding something here? What surprised me was Sarah. Why does Sarah know about my power? Wasn't she supposed to lose all of her memories due to the dark flood?"

Sarah and Wol were shocked

Voyce continued
"All along, she looked after you guys. She never lost her memories. She played along with you by being your little sister. To look after you and protect you, you know? Princess Sarah was the symbol of the old Warrior of Light story, the story you destroyed, the symbol of the world you changed. If you the one who changed the world were to live with her, you'd feel uncomfortable right? You wouldn't be able to be free right? That's why Sarah tried to delete her old self, played the role of little sister who knew nothing. It's all for your sake!"

"That's all a lie, that's not it. Please onii-sama "

"You thought you were protecting your little sister right? Without you noticing princess's feeling and were protecting by her. What an irony. You, who ended the distorted story, playing this distorted role in this farce"

Sarah tried to walked up to Wol and touch him but Wol pushed away her hand and turned around. Wol's vision were blurry.

"All you had done so far were useless skiddles, nothing but a worthless fuss, you were a complete clown!"

"SHUT UPPP!!!"

"Why should I, I have nothing but my mouth. But you'll never won against me. Me the one who you resented. I know you wanted to defeat me but you can't. I can't be reached by your hands. Can't even talk back huh? Now you know how powerless you are!! How are you feeling now Warrior of Light? This emotion is a first for you right? Yes this emotion..."

Echo said to Wol
"Hold yourself together!"

Voyce finished his sentence
"This is despair!"

Wol fell into despair and that dark mud returned, now it came out from Wol and wrapping his body.

"I got you now! Finally I got your heart now! I got you now you contrary person! Now let's make the story which this world seeks! The best story ever, the last verse the strongest you will now play your role... the strongest, the most evil, the last boss!"

After getting wrapped by the dark muddy element, Wol transformed into some monster...
