- Monsters are special enemy NPCs throughout the game that have special abilities and tactics to defeat the player. There are 5 different types of monsters in each stage all native to their environments. Monsters cannot be defeated through normal or advanced combat like Enemy NPCs and can only be defeated through the player’s power and/or Taifu. Each new monster the player encounters will get more and more difficult as they progress.
