Times of worship and Holidays: Prayers to Elune are typically said at night under the light of the moon with practitioners encouraged to visit her temple at least once a month during the night of the full moon. Lunar eclipses are treated as holy days during which major ceremonies are held

Her temples tend to be built around a central chamber containing a reflecting pool and left open to the sky, minor shrines are also usually open to the night sky but contain some other mirrored surface. The priesthood of Elune is entirely female with the lead priestess of a temple usually acting as a stand in for the goddess during religious ceremonies, a living idol to be adored by her followers as she preforms the rites, her reflection illuminated by the light of the moon. When not acting through her priestesses, she appears as a pale, voluptuous human or elf, clad in little more than the moonlight.

Elune herself is a minor goddess of the moon and fertility who's followers preach that the mortal female form is a reflection of her divinity and that they should enjoy the beauty and lifegiving fertility she blessed them with. Having fallen out of favor for the last few centuries and being limited near entirely to villages bordering the wilderness where the faith traditionally held sway, it's currently enjoys a recent surge in popularity after a handful of priestesses of other faiths converted and began a surprisingly successful campaign of proselytizing in nearby towns, albeit by focusing on a slightly different message than was traditional.

This has lead to a minor schism in the faith, with some of the old members wondering if the current success is worth attracting the vain and those who find the idea of being considered a reflection of divinity appealing. Especially given how the new faction seems to focus on the part of their dogma that teaches they're a reflection of the goddess, thinking the more beautiful and feminine the closer the reflection, and that they deserve to be adored as such, enjoying the attention and pleasures it brings and not the old ways, looking to the lifegiving aspect of their goddess, seeing the ideal reflection of the goddess as a woman who's fertile and beautiful, seeking to be closer to it, mothering many children and shining as a thing of beauty like their goddess does.
Of course, given that both factions still receive the goddess's blessing in equal measure these differences may be a moot point, Elune is supposedly reflected in her worshipers and those who are worshiped in her name after all, so the worship of a priestess or self worship may both perfectly acceptable in her eyes. And with the priestesshood growing to meet the needs of the new followers, the old faction is finding themselves having to pick from the more moderate of the new faction to uplift to the priestesshood things may settle down soon
