Gunder Snow-Heart the young wannabe dragon slayer.

Gunder Snow-Heart

Gunder Snow-Heart was born to the small village of Garvostead and grew up in his mothers Inn. His father was a simple blacksmith and mother ran the Inn. Growing up Gunder spend his youth in the Inn, cleaning and bringing drinks to travelers, by his teens he had started working for his father at the forge. Gunder showed great promise in forging armor and swords.
One Fredas night, after the Inn patrons left or went to the rooms they had rented, Gunder was cleaning up and getting ready for bed. When Gunder finished wiping off the last table, a drunkard rushed into the Inn yelling some nonsense.
Gunder tried to calm the man, fearing that he'd wake his parents. The man yelled about a dragon, seen heading to town. Gunder was unsure of the man, he was a local bum and drunk, but Gunder had heard tales of dragons returning from travelling merchants and warriors in the Inn.

Then he heard it, the sound of horns blowing, the town guards were alerting the townsfolk that danger was coming. Gunder rushed to wake his parents and the rest of the Inn patrons. Gunder and his father rushed to their smithy to grab arms while the mother lead people out of the Inn.

The town was short on guards, a mere 4 men and one woman for the small town. Farmers and travelling warriors took arms to help the guards fend off the beast. Gunder grabbed a sword he had been working on as his father grabbed his smithing hammer.
The dragon was big, and green. It soared through the sky and light up the night with fire. In seconds a few farms were aflame and the sound of farm animals screaming filled the night. The guards arrows flew through the sky, but the dragon was too quick and the guards aim poor. The dragon circled the small town a few times, setting the ground ablaze with fire. Some townfolk were set on fire as they tried to escape. Few on horseback were able to get away, vanishing into the night, people were unsure if they would go to get help or not, but most knew it would be too late.

The dragon eventually landed, crashing into the Inn. The Inn was demolished in seconds and Gunder's heart sank. He screamed as he rushed at the dragon, mind blank and body fueled by anger. The town guards and the few who took up arms hopelessly joined in the charge.
The dragon lifted its neck to the sky and roared before letting loose flames, most were able to dodge the fire as they continued to rush. Some farmers threw pitchforks and spears at the dragon while the guards got close for melee combat. Gunder and his father attacked it from the side.

The dragon was at a loss on who to focus on, the guards while small in number took tactics to attack at different places. Swords and hammers were cutting into the flesh of the dragon as it flapped it wings and swung its tail. The fight wasn't without loss, some guards were hit by the tail or wings. Some farmers were set on fire, one was even grabbed by the jaws of the beast and tossed into the night sky. But the beast was slain in time, the force of the swords and hammers wore it down and the death blow was dealt when Gunder leaped onto the snout of the beast and stabbed it between the eyes.

The town was in ruins, few buildings were left standing. Gunder's mother's body was never found, unsure if she was crushed or one of the burned corpses. Gunder and his father made a grave for her under the only tree left unburnt in all the small town. Few days after the attack, a small group of guards and workers arrived to the town from Whiterun.

Gunder and his father stayed in Garvostead and helped rebuild the town, though the rebuilt town was smaller than before. The Inn was ran by a new family and Gunder and his father moved into a small house with a smithy.

Over time, the anger and hatred for Dragons grew inside Gunder and not soon after the town was rebuilt, Gunder left his home, wanting to find away to stop the dragons. He took the sword he worked on and painted Plate Armor he had been working on for a wandering traveler who ran off during the attack. Gunder headed to the nearest city, Whiterun.

When Gunder arrived in Whiterun he went straight for Dragonsreach, the Jarl must be forming an army to fight the dragons, but he was surprised to find no such army existed. Defeated, Gunder made his way to the temple, he was always a child of Kynareth.

While in the temple Gunder knelt before a shrine and prayed. While kneeling Gunder thought he heard a voice, something telling him to go to High Hrothgar. He was unsure if he really heard a voice, some kind of divine intervention, or if he was going slightly mad from the trauma. Unsure, he began his journey to High Hrothgar.

Once arrived at High Hrothgar Gunder was met with silence. He pounded on the door, yelled and waited. The greybeards never came out. Defeated Gunder left and started traveling Skyrim. His journey took him across the land, all the while he slayed dragons, daedra and the undead along the way. In time Gunder was approached by a courier, the letter was from Garvostead. His father had fell ill in the past months and it was looking grim.

Gunder returned to his hometown of Garvostead was more the same as he left it. His father passed away before he could return home. Gunder has his father buried next to his mothers grave, hoping they're happy together in Sovngarde.

Gunder now spends his time traveling Skyrim, once again on his mission to end the dragons and banish the evil from Skyrim. When he isn't on the road he can be found at his home, in Garvostead.


Misc Facts:
He's kinda like Tavryn. Except he can talk to women, he just has a hard time picking up on subtle hints of interest.

His mom always told him to save himself for marriage, his dad told him save himself for the right one. So he doesnt want to just fuck a random harlot working the streets.

He wears an enchanted ring his mother got him on his 14th birthday.
