“Guess it’s time for me to get serious now!” Andy grinned, and pointed his index finger in the direction the cat was fleeing.
“Wait, Mister Andy! Isn’t that a little too serious when you’re only against a cat!?” Before Shen could stop him, blood sprayed out around the first knuckle of his index finger, as the tip burst out with great force. The Parts Bullet skimmed the tip of the cat’s nose.
“Mrooow!” The cat let out a cry like the two had never heard before, just before changing direction and running off again.
“You won’t get away.” Andy shot off more consecutive Parts Bullets, each cutting off the cat’s path.
“Wai- Mister Andy! Not being able to catch a cat is no excuse to vent your rage at it like this! Also, you’re going to get blood all over the whole room!” Shen grimaced.
Billy nodded: “Now I get it~. He’s deliberately painting the floor with blood, blocking off every one of the cat’s escape routes.”
“Huh?” Shen opened his eyes and mouth wide, shocked at Billy’s observation. A grin spread across Andy’s face: “Aah. ‘Coz cats hate water. If we’re in a pretty wide space and the cat’s able to get away, then all we gotta do is chase it someplace cosier.” Just as Andy said, the Multipurpose Room was a sea of blood thanks to the fallout of his Parts Bullet. Even though Shen and Tatiana were used to this sight, they couldn’t help at marvel at it. Incidentally, it smelled strongly of iron. Limiting the escape routes of the cat, it was herded back to the area around the shelves where they started. It wanted to once again escape up onto the shelves, but it could not climb up thanks to the blood already spattered across the surface of the wall. The cat’s ears and tail that were previously poised upright, vigilant for humans while making its escape, were now held low in fear. Even so, as Andy approached, the cat backed away, looking for a place that wasn’t soaked in blood yet. It was clear that its whole body was gripped by fear.
“Would it appear that taking this so seriously has backfired somewhat…?”
