  1. ElvUI - This is to tidy up the UI and provide a more customisable look to my UI and therefore make it more comfortable to use while raiding, and allows me to track my cooldowns (Avenging Wrath, Haste Potions, trinket procs, Art of War, etc), how long abilities like Seal of Vengeance will be up on a target for and how many stacks abilities like this have. Further to this, if gives me a good set of raid frames allowing me to easily cast most abilities through [@mouseover] targeted macros.
  2.
  3. WeaponSwingTimer/CLCRet - Well, the title is pretty obvious, this lets me track my swing timer. This is useful for both allowing me to keep an accurate timer on when I can expect a swing, early on in the fight, this can be the difference between a small amount of missed damage, for only white attacks can stack Seals, however, once at five stacks all abilities can proc off the seal (as an old Blizzard Blue post said on their forums around eleven years ago). While this may seem trivial, I’ve been in raids where I have wiped on a boss with less than a single auto of damage, and as a result every single point of damage matters.

  5. Currently I am testing out CLCRet
  6.
  7. Bartender - Further customising my action bars, allowing me to set up modified keybinds (abilities bound to modifier keys Shift, Left Control and Alt) and allowing me to have “hidden bars” (for trivial things, such as mounting, professions etc). This is used in conjunction with ElvUI, simply because when using ElvUI one can quite easily suffer from option paralysis, the sheer depth you can go into with ElvUI can sometimes be a bit daunting and overwhelming, whereas Bartender tends to be a simple easier to program and use Add-on.

  9. WeakAuras - This is, in my opinion, the most complicated addon that I have ever seen, I would argue that it is probably easier to knock down a wall using your face, however, once you learn WeakAuras, does it change. WeakAuras is probably the most powerful addon I have seen, for it is so flexible, my WeakAuras currently tracks my live Attack Power, and will track my trinket cooldowns as well as Avenging Wrath’s Cooldown, while ElvUI does do this, the position of it is very awkward, so using WA, I am able to place this in a more comfortable position for me to see.
  10. Why is this important? Potentially, if I am in a fight and my trinket is about to come off cooldown, it may benefit to shift some spells to later in their priority list, especially at this gear level, a 300 strength boost for a player in Tier Seven gear is far more noticeable than at Tier Ten. So one can make the argument that keeping one’s current AP in mind is especially important.
  11. At the current content I feel this is especially more important due to the percentage of increase this is as opposed to later gear levels.

  14. Omen - A standard threat meter, arguably one of the most important addons for any player intending to raid
  15.
  16. DeadlyBossMods - This is one I would put together with Omen, it’s an addon which tells you all the timers for a boss, enrage timers, add spawns, and cooldowns on bosses abilities, phase timers and all the important information you would need for a raid.
  17.
  18. PallyPower - I’ve been in so many raids where I was the only person with PallyPower, and trying to coordinate who is doing what blessing is surprisingly hard for a PuG, this addon allows me to fix this in a guild/organised run.
