Pukin reached the sheath of her dagger with her left hand. It was pulled out halfway, Hana stepped faster, aiming for her enemy’s jaw and hitting it with the palm of her hand. Pukin tried to endure it, but Hana pushed her weight there, hitting the back of Pukin’s head to a wall.

Pukin gave a small groaning voice, leaning on the back of the wall. Hana pressed on the center of her chest with her hand. She felt warm blood flowing between her fingers. Pukin’s dagger had stabbed her, with only the handle sticking out.
