- Mithrandir: Jamie scoops the last bit of macaroni and cheese into his mouth and pushes himself away from the table while he chews. He fills the cheesey bowl with a bit of soap and water and sets it into the sink before stepping over to the rest of the food he had left on the stove. He scoops the leftovers into a medium-sized tupperware container, humming along to the Queen playing from his phone as he does. Chickie lays near the couch, chewing mercilessly on a toy beaver that she holds between her front paws.
- Tsaaq: Ozzie slowly rolled his truck into the driveway of the off-campus house, looking around carefully at the space available in front of the garage. He brought his truck to a halt and slipped out of the vehicle and covered his hands with the ends of hooddie sleeves. Ozzie knocked on the door of the garage and waited while rocking back and forth on the feet.
- Mithrandir: Chickie looks up from the chewed up toy, dark eyes scanning for the source of the noise before she starts yipping excitedly. It’s a very high pitched bark that’s not intimidating at all. Jamie turns his head at the knock andshoves the food into the fridge before turning away from the kitchenette. “It’s unlocked!” The sounds of claws click down the stairs followed by the thump of human feet. Jamie reaches the door and pulls it open. “Hey.” He says with a smile as Chicke practically charges out of the door to throw herself at Ozzie’s ankles excitedly.
- Tsaaq: "Ohhh." Ozzie said as he reached for the door but it opened before he could get to it. "Hey!" He waved before looking down at Chickie and squealing a little. "Hey there sweetie pie!" Ozzie said in a baby voice and crouched down, running his hands up and down her back then scratches her ear. "Ooo it's cold isn't it we should inside shouldn't we? We should, yes." He continued to talk to the damn dog instead of paying attention to Jamie. "Come on! Lets go, it'll be fun." Ozzie snickered and stepped towards the stairs in the garage. "Up there is where you live?" He finally addressed Jamie once more.
- Mithrandir: Jamie stands aside to let Ozzie and Chickie through the door. Chickie follows Ozzie, circling around his legs when he stops and standing on her hind legs in an attempt to regain his attention. Jamie peers up the stairs, appearing to contemplate the question for a moment. “Yeah, right up there. Right now I have the whole space. I need to get a smaller bed though and sell my big one. The room’s supposed to be shared. After you!” He holds out an arm to gesture up the stairs.
- Tsaaq: Ozzie chuckled while watching Chickie and went to pick her up and rub her belly as he ascended to Jamie's floor. "Oh that's pretty cool. At least in a big bed your can streatch out and all that." He called out before walking into the living room/kitchen area. "Oh wow this is really nice. And you live in here by yourself." Ozzie cooed then looked down at Chickie, rubbing her belly again. "You get to run around here all you want huh? You must be a little rascal!"
- Mithrandir: Jamie grins as he follows him up. “Hah yeah.” He steps up beside Ozzie to scratch Chickie’s head while she gets her belly rubbed. “I only take up like half of it all stretched out, though. I should just rent a saw and cut it in half.” He looks down to Chickie, his expression softening. “Shouldn’t I, li’l chicken? Yeah, yeah. You’re nice now. Just wait until Ozzie sees how mean you are to cats."
- Tsaaq: "At least if you have somebody sleep over you'll know you have a bunch of room for somebody else in your bed." He said before laughing then looked down at the canine again. "Nooooo don't be mean to cats. You be nice." Ozzie waved his finger at Chickie and put her down once he reached the couch near the dining table. He looked around awkward before taking a seat down on it slowly.
- Mithrandir: He chuckles awkwardly and moves to sit sideways on the couch, facing Ozzie. He drags his legs up and pats the spot in front of him. Chickie jumps up to the spot but completely ignores Jamie and goes straight for Ozzie. “That’s true. Not that I have….other people….in my bed….that often.” He scratches at his nose for no particular reason and glances around as well before looking back down to Chickie, giving her a mock scowl. “You heard the man.” He looks back up to Ozzie, giving a shrug. “She just hates cats. I don’t know why."
- Tsaaq: Ozzie stared at Jamie for a good while with his eyebrows raised slightly. "Yeah..." He trailed off. He gently grabbed Chickie and brought her into his lap. "You stop that, okay? Kitties are just trying to live and be furry like you." Ozzie said to her before settling his gaze on Jamie once more. "I get where you're coming from I guess, I live in my dorm all by myself."
- Mithrandir: Jamie leans to the side, draping one arm over the back of the couch and using the other to rub harshly at his face. With his hand still over his eyes he gives a small grin. “Yeah, chick. Some of us want to adopt a cat but nooooo.” He lowers the hand, resting it idly in his lap. He looks back to Ozzie, still smiling but the expression is different. A bit more somber. “Sorry. I’m in a weird place right now and I feel like it’s making a lot of awkward stuff come out of my mouth.” His shoulders raise with a breathy laugh.
- Tsaaq: His eyes went wide again as he listened to Jamie. "No! Nooooo it's okay! I'm good at listening. I'm the one being weird and making stuff weird." Ozzie waved his hand at him and started to scratch behind Chickie's ear. "I uh, I'm bad at talking to people about stuff about me, like personal stuff. So I get all weird. I'm pretty sure I only had friends in high school cause of the face." He said jokingly, pointing at himself before frowning and looking away. "Plus everybody at home knows me already so I haven't really thought about trying to make friends for a while. I just had 'em.
- Mithrandir: “Well, the face is pretty nice.” Jamie chuckles lightly before shaking his head. “But there’s more to you than your appearance. That’s for sure.” He shifts, pulling the arm that had been draped over the back of the couch back into his lap. “I know how you feel, though. I had friends back home and now…I mean people talk to me. But you’re the first person that’s offered to -actually- talk to me. And I’m bad at the personal stuff too. I had a person that I talked about all my personal stuff with for four years..and now that’s just gone. So yeah…I get weird too. When I try to talk about it. Like I’m doing now. Heh.” He sighs and runs a hand through his curls, causing the hair to stick out a bit at the ends.
- Mithrandir: ((the rl chickie is seriously staring at me. it's so creepy. she's such a creepy dog))
- Mithrandir: ((I love her tho))
- Tsaaq: ((BWahaha awww.))
- Tsaaq: "Aw, thank you." Ozzie said with a smile and a tilt of his head. He sunk a little in his spot on the couch. "Not even Brad?" He asked awkwardly. "I mean, I don't know why I asked that. I'm stupid, like really really stupid." Ozzie rambled and covered his forehead with his hands. "You know what? Whatever, I'm here for you and...Yeah. I'm not good with words but I'm good with my hands so if you ever need surgery I'm also here for you." He chuckled, playing with Chickie's paws while he spoke.
- Mithrandir: Jamie lowers his eyes and shakes his head, sinking his shoulder further into the couch as well. “Nah. Brad didn’t want to talk. He just wanted to hook up. It was a physical comfort but…” he lifts his shoulder in a shrug. “You’re fine. You can ask whatever you want.” He chuckles lightly and looks back up to Ozzie. “For a second I thought you were going to take that hand comment in a completely different direction."
- Mithrandir: ((brb))
- Mithrandir: ((back!))
- Tsaaq: ((WB!))
- Mithrandir: ((danke!))
- Tsaaq: He pursed his lips while he listened. "That hurts people's feelings..." He whispered more to himself than anything. "Well, I'm always here. I like to help and-" Ozzie paused and darted his eyes a moment. "Oh. Wait." He started to pout. "No, I don't get it." He chuckled nervously.
- Tsaaq: ((Yw!))
- Mithrandir: Jamie presses his lips together and nods. “Yeah, it does. For a while…like when I first got here and didn’t know anyone…I thought it would help. But it doesn’t.” He leans forward, resting his chin on his knees. “Thank you, Ozzie. Really. It feels really good to talk about it. I feel like such a tool.” He looks up, the corner of his mouth turning up slightly. “It was a bad joke."
- Tsaaq: "Why would he do stuff like that?" Ozzie asked with a shake of his head then cleared his throat. "You're welcome. I mean, yeah. You're welcome. And you're not a tool. You seem nice but I've been wrong before... Wrong a lot but I'm pretty sure if you weren't nice I would've realized or had a feeling which I don't." Ozzie shrugged again he looked away a moment and frowned. "I never get the jokes, but I get all the jokes on the Simpsons. Why can't all jokes be like the Simpsons?" He laughed quietly.
- Mithrandir: “I dunno. I feel…I feel bad if I don’t care about the person, ya know? So I dunno how or why. Maybe he’s just really sad. Or horny. Or both.” Shrugging again he studies Ozzie’s face. “Has he done the same with you?” He turns his head away, coughing into the crook of his elbow. “Well…I’m glad about that. I try to be nice.” He chuckles into the sleeve of his hoodie. “I’ll strive to be more simpson-esque in my jokes in the future. Hey.” He sits up a bit, dropping his arms to his sides. “Are you cold? I’m kinda cold. I’m gonna grab a blanket."
- Tsaaq: Ozzie's eyebrows rose up his forehead at the mention of horniness and blinked awkwardly. "What? No, not really." He answered quickly, trying not to talk about it. Ozzie sat up and looked down at Chickie who was just chilling in his lap. "Thanks for that." Ozzie said with a grin before watching him. "Uhh, yeah I wasn't going to say anything cause I'm pretty sure everyone is tired of hearing about me being cold." He laughed. "A blanket sounds...Nice." He nodded his head slowly.
- Mithrandir: Jamie pushes himself up from the couch and takes a moment to stretch. He clasps his hands behind his back and pulls, sending his chest forward and the hem of his hoodie up above the waistband of his sweats for a moment. “Mmm…that’s good.” He moves around the wall to the bedroom portion, still speaking as he goes. “What he does…I dunno. You’re like a genuinely a nice, good person. You deserve better than what people like him are offering.” He comes back around the corner carrying an Eddie Bauer car blanket. The inside is soft and fuzzy while the outside is the same material as a wind breaker. “I only have the one. Here you are. And it’s freaking cold up here. I’m not tired of hearing you complain.” He chuckles lightly as he holds out the blanket to Ozzie.
- Tsaaq: "That's what his roommate told me." He called out once Jamie got up and went to grab the blanket. "I wonder if he's in the closet... His roommate I mean." He trailed off. "We just kissed." Ozzie's words slipped out when Jamie finally got back to the couch and he looked down at Chickie. "Oh, thank you." He took the blanket and draped it over himself. "So you're gay?" He asked Jamie quietly. "Cause this school is really confusing to me when it comes to that. You sure you don't want to share or something?" Ozzie asked him.
- Mithrandir: Slipping off his shoes Jamie sinks back onto the couch, sitting the same distance away he had been before. “No problem.” He clears his throat and scratches at his beard. “Yeah, I am. I came out my junior year of high school…..are you?” He pulls one of his knees up to his chest, clasping his hands around it. “We can share. I just don’t wanna make you uncomfortable by sitting too close…or anything. Heh."
- Tsaaq: Ozzie nodded his head and knew his face was flushed and started to laugh nervously. "Yeah I am. I guess I came out when..." He started to say then pouted a little. "I don't think I really did. I just told my girlfriend at the time I thought she was beautiful and all that but I just wasn't into her the way I was into guys and it sort of just spread around school." He looked over at Jamie. "My mom doesn't even know. She just thinks I'm bad with women. Which is partly true." He laughed again. "I don't know how to tell anybody here either." Ozzie's voice dropped into a whisper then tried to scoot closer to Jamie. "It's okay, I'm not that weird."
- Mithrandir: With a laugh Jamie scoots closer as well, gripping the edges of the blanket and spreading it over both of them. Chickie seems quite content to stay in Ozzie’s lap under the blanket. “Well, you told me. And here you said you were bad about the personal stuff. Do you think you’ll tell your mom?” He tilts his head slightly to the side as he watches Ozzie. “And might I add? Pff. I don’t think you’re weird."
- Tsaaq: He shrugged his shoulders. "I don't know, she's my mom. We're really close. I'm all she has. I don't want anything to change." Ozzie replied then started to frown. "I don't even know how Brad knew. Maybe he was just guessing and hoping I'd kiss him back." He shook his head and shifted under the blanket. "Okay maybe I'm not that weird if you say so, I can trust your judgement."
- Mithrandir: Jamie scoots so that he’s leaning his head against the back of the couch as he watches Ozzie. He nods a little bit, his cheek rubbing against the fabric. “I understand that. I was most afraid of what my dad would say.” He shifts under the blanket, trying to get comfortable. “I think he was guessing with me, so I wouldn’t be surprised.” A smile slowly spreads across his face and he laughs lightly. “I’m glad you trust me so easily. But it’s true. You’re not weird."
- Tsaaq: Ozzie made a bit of a distressed whining noise, obviously getting embarrassed. "How do you live in here all by yourself? Do you ever go in the house or anything?" He asked him as he nodded his head in the direction of the window.
- Mithrandir: Jamie sits up a bit, raising a brow at the noise. “Well maybe that was a little weird.” He chuckles and reaches out, giving Ozzie’s shoulder a squeeze. “I’m sorry. I feel like I’m doing something…wrong?” He looks from his hand on Ozzie’s shoulder to his face and quickly removes the hand. “You made the same noise yesterday.” Awkwardly he reaches up and scratches at his own beard, following Ozzie’s gaze to the window. “Yeah, I go over there. I take Chickie over. But sometimes I just chill by myself."
- Tsaaq: He started to pout again and then waved his hand at Jamie. "Noooo you're not doing anything wrong. I'm just bad at stuff..." He whispered, looking at Jamie's hand a moment then clearing his throat. "Well that sounds like a pretty sweet deal." Ozzie said with a smirk. "Plus you have a TV."
- Mithrandir: Jamie chuckles, shaking his head. “You’re adorable.” He clears his throat and turns to face the T.V., placing his arm against Ozzie’s. “Heh..yeah. I have two, actually. There’s one on my dresser that I hardly use. So I can start a marathon in here, then move it to my bed."
- Tsaaq: Ozzie started to smile and shook his head. "I'm adorable?" He repeated then shrugged. "Wow, that's so cool. I don't even have a tv in my dorm yet. I have to use the common area television." Ozzie said with a sigh of amazement.
- Mithrandir: “Yeah, you are.” He stretches his legs straight out in front of him, causing them to not be under the warmth of the blanket anymore. “The big one in here came with the house, so that was lucky. I think they have pretty cheap T.V.s at like Walmart and stuff.” He turns his head to look at Ozzie.
- Tsaaq: He started to laugh and watched Jamie. "I really should get a job before it's too late. I keep forgetting. I'm so bad at remembering." Ozzie shook his head and patted his pockets, and glanced at his phone. "Wow, we've been talking for like, forever!"
- Mithrandir: Jamie grins over at Ozzie. “Want daily reminder texts? I could send ‘em in all caps. Get a job, Ozzie!” Still grinning he looks down and pulls out his own phone, raising his brow at the bright numbers on the screen. “Wow. We have. It doesn’t feel like it’s been that long.” He looks back to Ozzie and gives him an appreciative nod. “Nice."
- Tsaaq: "That'd be funny so I'd remember." He said with a laugh. "Sooooo, should I go?" Ozzie asked awkwardly. "I uh... Chickie is sleeping like a little sleepy baby in my lap." He started to chuckle again.
- Mithrandir: “I can even include funny Simpson’s pictures. Just for you.” He chuckles then stretches his arms while yawning loudly. “Well I’m not gonna kick you out of you wanna stay. I’m probably gonna stay up for a bit and look over some notes. I can grab her if you wanna go. She’s super pliable.”
- Tsaaq: Ozzie thought about it for a moment and licked his lips while he pondered. "I don't know. I can't remember the last time I actually slept over someone's place." He said quietly. "I should probably just get out of your hair. I'd just be a bother."
- Mithrandir: “Nothing gets out of my hair. Have you seen this mess?” He lowers his head and gives it a shake, making the curls bounce around. After a moment he looks back up and laughs. “If you’re more comfortable going. I’m sure you wouldn’t be a bother, but I’d hate to cause more uncomfortable pouting.” With a grin on his face he removes himself from under the blanket and gestures to Ozzie’s lap. “Mind if I grab her?"
- Tsaaq: He started to laugh hard and shook his head. "You're so funny!" Ozzie called out. "I didn't even know I pouted so much." He whispered, running his fingers through his hair. "Uh sure, yeah, go on ahead." Ozzie said, basically waving his hands near his crotch. "
- Mithrandir: Jamie still grins as he looks down at Chickie all nestled up in Ozzie’s lap. The expression sobers slightly. “You do. But it’s pretty adorable, so it’s alright.” With that he leans down and slides his hands under Chickie, causing the backs of his hands to rub against Ozzie’s thighs. “Sorry ‘bout that.” he says, his face near the other man’s as he makes sure his grip is good enough not to drop the dog. His cheeks redden slightly but he turns away once Chickie is in arm, taking her around the corner and to the bedroom half of the floor. “She really likes awkward situations, if you couldn’t tell.” he calls out from behind the wall.
- Mithrandir: ((she really does that...lays in people's laps and then when you try to pick her up she rolls onto her back and makes it really difficult so you have to get up close and personal))
- Tsaaq: Ozzie cleared his throat and and tried to not breathe hard or anything when Jamie came closer. He cleared his throat louder and tried to look away, giving Jamie an awkward smile. "Yeah, the little dear." Ozzie said with a wave of his hand before pushing onto his feet. "Soooo I'm gonna head out." He said loudly with bite of his lip.
- Mithrandir: Jamie comes back around the corner to stand in front of Ozzie. He alternates between resting his hands on his hips and at his sides, nodding for no reason. “Aaaaalright. Well, I’m glad you came over. We should do this again sometime."
- Tsaaq: "Glad that you had me-" Ozzie stopped speaking and his eyes widened. "I mean had me come over to hang out and no other things." He shrugged. "I'll text you tomorrow." Ozzie declared and headed to the staircase, waving at Jamie. "Night Chickie!" He shouted with a smile.
- Mithrandir: ((LOL))
- Tsaaq: ((XD))
- Mithrandir: Jamie laughs out loud, his head actually going back. "Don't forget! Drive safe!"
- Mithrandir: ((I need to pass out xD))
