How long do you spend each day on Skyblocky?: I spend around 5 hours on skyblocky, I'm constantly talking to other players while also keeping professional and moderating the Skyblocky chat (Desert)
Since I don't have the perms to mute and warn other users, I usually just screenshot the chat of the play Spamming, Double posting, Advertising, Leaking Personal Info etc and Make a report on forums and in under 24 hours one of the mods have taken care of the situation and the play has been taken care of.

How long have you been a Skyblocky community member?:
I've been a community member on Skyblocky ever since it merged. I sadly didn't play on CryMC, HazMC or Op Jails but I did play on YayMC. I applied for staff numerous times but every time I asked for my application to be denied, Well you might be thinking, "Why would you ask for your application to get denied" Well, Ever time I applied I'd get -1's and a lot of them and because I was active on forums and had one of the higher message numbers on forums at the time not many people liked me, Including the staff members. I thought a -1 was basically an auto deny because a lot of other accepted application had no -1's until a user called "Medi" applied for staff. He had around 1.5k views on his application and 200 replies on his application, He ended up getting accepted for the position. Medi had a lot of -1's and now I'm not afraid of someone giving me a -1 because everyone is entitled to their own opinion and a few -1's don't matter unless they have sufficient evidence and a reason to back it up.


Why do you play Minecraft?:
I play Minecraft for a number of reasons 1. I play Minecraft for the sheer fact that it's exciting and entertaining and also, I have fun playing on the server.
I'm always talking to people on TeamSpeak in the morning before school, This is a prime time for players like Starbucks (Close Friend) and many other helpful players to be online. I'm also quite active in-game, I have around 2 days play time without AFKing at any type of grinder. I usually AFK on my alternative account because I'd like my main account (ImDorkinq) To have a legitimate play time so you can tell by doing /pt or /ot if I'm inactive or if I've been gone for a long period of time.
Another reason is: You can build basically whatever you want, Whenever you want. This fascinates me because I'm a quite creative person when it comes to building things and a design of an island is more important than how many spawners or money you have. The Community, The Community is what keeps the server running, Luckily we have one of the best and fastest growing community on Minecraft and also one of the biggest Skyblock servers on Minecraft, This is because we have such a great and wonderful staff team that is constantly growing and getting bigger and better has most defiantly played a part in the community growing in such a fast and rapid rate.


What has motivated you to apply for a staff position on Skyblocky?: I've wanted to be a staff member on YayMC, I made around 13 applications on there and as I said above, I asked for them to get denied. I really feel like I belong on Skyblocky/YayMC because of the community, This is by far one of the best communities I've been apart of and hopefully I'll stay and play on the server for many years to come (If It's still up) because it's such a great server and the fact that it's a unique server amazes me because there are many servers that copy each other but Skyblocky is quite unique in everything it does.
When YayMC merged I wasn't thrilled but after playing the new game mode I realised that I enjoyed it and I still continue to enjoy it. Many people just simply aren't giving the server ago and I guarantee to anyone that likes building and are as fascinated as I am then I recommend Skyblocky.

In what ways could you positively contribute to the community?: I can spend 5 hours on weekdays moderating chat and on the weekends I can do around 12-15 hours. I'm always either on forums or in-game, I'm constantly checking forums while I'm at school since we are allowed on our phones during class time.
I'm also always recording so if a hacker accidentally toggles on Kill Aura while at spawn then I upload to youtube and forward the video to an appropriate staff member. I've only reported 10 hackers on Syblocky since My internet isn't currently the best for PvPing but It's perfect for Helping users in chat If they need assistance.


If accepted, what would be the top 3 goals which you would aim to complete during your time as a staff member?:

1. I'd like to remove all toxicness in chat & Remove the spammers, Since I don't have perms to mute and warn people for being toxic, All I can do is report on forums, This is usually not a problem but when you have someone spamming chat, Calling staff names and saying the server is bad it becomes a problem. There is a gap between 4:00pm - 10:00pm were there are no staff members on the server. This is a prime time when you see spamming and advertising coming from the players, This can get quite frustrating and since there are only a small amount of things you can do without perms to warn the player. I go to look for other staff members on Peaks, Frost & Rust but there never seems to be any online at the time, This is because there are not many Australian staff members that are online that the time.

2. I'd Like to reduce the hackers on the server, As I said previously I'm always recording and If someone decided to hack on Skyblocky then I'd report them. I'm not a bias person so I would report them even If they were my friend because I'd be strongly disappointed in them If I found out they used a hacked client on the server I really enjoy playing on.
I used to get around 20 hackers banned every week on YayMC but since my internet isn't currently good enough to PvP then I cannot even PvP against other people because of my internet and my ping (getting Internet fixed within the next month or so). I really enjoy reporting hackers, The fact that they might have learned their lesson by getting banned makes me feel like I've done something to help both them and the community by reporting that person.

3.Getting staff on YayMC and Skyblocky has always been one of my biggest dreams and If I could get helper it would be amazing but I would like to become a Moderator on the server sometime in the future because I feel like I'd be a great person because of my leadership skills and I'm very approachable person when it comes to tricky or tuff situations.
I've been a moderator on a server with about 100-150 players each day, I resigned around 2 months ago due to that I wanted to focus on being a staff member for Skyblocky. being staff on there was the best 8 months of my life and a memorable one but I feel like I could possibly be a great Helper or Mod on Skyblocky.

Do you fully understand the fundamentals of each Skyblocky server?:
Yes, I'm quite familiar with all the commands Skyblocky has to offer. I'm fully aware of all the rules and punishments because I got accidentally sent one of the links to a Rules and Punishment File by a newer Staff member.
I've played on Skyblocky ever since it came out, I know a lot of the rules and what and what not to do as a staff member and also as a member of the server.

What advice would you give someone who had to deal with people younger than them?:
I'd advise the person to treat the player with their up most respect, none wants to be treated like dirt.
My second advice would be to take it show, It doesn't matter if you have to repeat your response 1-10 times, It doesn't matter but if this is the case maybe try changing the words around and use some easier words so they understand what you are telling them.
Lastly, Younger people tend to look up to an older person, You could say you are their role model...They might be inspired to do similar things that you like to do. Younger people tend to not understand things as well as a mature and older person would, It might seem like they are trying to annoy your or get on your nerves but I can assure you they are just trying to understand what you are saying.

What interactions have you had with our staff team in the past?:
I'm quite good friends with a lot of the current staff members, A lot of them have helped me with a few of my problems and overcome some things.
I'd love to be a part of the team in the near future because I'd love to help the server

What experiences do you have in moderating a community or game?:
I have some experiences in moderating a community, This includes: being a helper on 2 servers and being a moderator on 1. I know how to control a tuff situation if necessary. I also understand the responsibilities that a helper must do every day when he/she is online such as being active on both forums and in-game also, by assisting the player with any problem they might face while they are on Skyblocky.
I used to be staff on Brutal Network, this is a server with a peak of 100 players but usually 50 during the day. Brutal was a great server but I resigned after 4 months due to EULA and I didn't agree on some of the decisions that were made during my time as Moderator.

Have you received any punishments on Skyblocky?: I've been banned once for being toxic around 2 months back, I have honestly changed a lot from that and If I just got a chance to prove it, I can guarantee you won't be disappointed.
