  1. [23:42] Aspen emerges from a rift, flying gracefully as she usually does. Surprisingly, NO child is clinging to her leg like usual. Thank you, Zephixo.
  2. (Aspen Thalia)
  3. [23:42] Mudge halts his speech once more. A hand raises up to his porcelain-shielded brow, offering a sigh. What a pain.
  4.
  5. There was a brief shaking of his head that would be followed with his sigh, and a slow, apprehensive nod. No words, exactly, but atleast he understood, or pretended to.
  6.
  7. Mudge begins pacing of, the hand which rose to his brow now rubbing his temple in thought.
  8. (Mudge Dubhglas)
  9. [23:43] Mariah -- Dropped something nearby the Drakanite. Hm.
  10. (Mariah)
  11. [23:43] Mudge Dubhglas says, "I wish Lady Donovan gave me wood like that."
  12. [23:44] Mudge looks back to Mariah.
  13. (Mudge Dubhglas)
  14. [23:44] Mudge Dubhglas asks, "Is this for myself, or?"
  15. [23:44] Mariah stared back at Mudge, nodding.
  16. (Mariah)
  17. [23:44] Orlane says, "...I grow suspect of your relationship with this lady."
  18. [23:44] Mudge nods back, offering a smile that lay behind his vixen mask of porcelain. A hand raises, unveiling a 'thumbs up' gesture.
  19. (Mudge Dubhglas)
  20. [23:44] Mudge Dubhglas says, "Thanks."
  21. [23:45] Mariah gave a similar thumbs up gesture with her DEAD GAZE still on.
  22. (Mariah)
  23. [23:46] Aspen flies nearby Mudge, who she stares at intensely. It's not a friendly one either. Considerably a squint.
  24. (Aspen Thalia)
  25. [23:46] Mudge looks back, staring at Aspen.
  26. (Mudge Dubhglas)
  27. [23:46] Mudge Dubhglas asks, "...Who pissed YOU off?"
  28. [23:46] Aspen Thalia says, "...Too many."
  29. [23:46] Mudge Dubhglas asks, "Well, why are you glaring at ME?"
  30. [23:48] Aspen Thalia says, "Oh, I was just thinking about who you're affiliated with. Mmh, I shouldn't be glaring I suppose."
  31. [23:49] Aspen states her words bluntly, and in a cold tone of voice, easing up on her stare into a half-opened bored one.
  32. (Aspen Thalia)
  33. [23:49] Mudge slowly nods, going to say something, but stopping. They continue on not long after.
  34. (Mudge Dubhglas)
  35. [23:49] Mudge Dubhglas says, "I-."
  36. [23:50] Aspen Thalia asks, "You.. what?"
  37. [23:50] Mudge Dubhglas says, "Y'know, that's pretty fuckin' odd."
  38. [23:50] Mudge leans near to Aspen, lowering his voice.
  39. (Mudge Dubhglas)
  40. [23:51] Mudge Dubhglas whispers: Not much loyalty to think about. Myself, and Lady Donovan. That's all I affiliate with, and all I take seriously.
  41. [23:51] Mudge Dubhglas whispers: And even saying I take myself seriously, is a stretch. So lady Donovan, alone.
  42. [23:51] Mudge Dubhglas whispers: Why were you wondering?
  43. [23:52] Aspen Thalia whispers: Are you aware of Lady Donovan's last name?
  44. [23:52] Mudge Dubhglas whispers: Invidia.
  45. [23:52] Aspen Thalia whispers: Do you believe she got that name alone, or is married?
  46. [23:53] Mudge Dubhglas whispers: I always figured she was just a member of their family.
  47. [23:53] Mudge Dubhglas whispers: What matters, and understand this,
  48. [23:53] Mudge looks to Aspen, removing their mask so that they could deadpan stare into Aspen's own eyes.
  49. (Mudge Dubhglas)
  50. [23:53] Mudge Dubhglas whispers: I'm Mudge Dubhglas.
  51. [23:54] Aspen Thalia whispers: And?
  52. [23:54] Mudge Dubhglas whispers: Exactly. What are you trying to get at here?
  53. [23:54] Aspen stares at him with a subtle anticipation, as if his title meant anything to her.
  54. (Aspen Thalia)
  55. [23:54] Aspen Thalia whispers: You're not aware that she's married to Lord Malentine Invidia?
  56. [23:54] Aspen Thalia whispers: I'm surprised..
  57. [23:58] Mudge Dubhglas whispers: --..
  58. [00:02] Mudge would give a laugh, and go on as if they were about to begin speaking. Such a gesture is quick to come to a halt, their mouth and entire form coming to a freeze, becoming more still than the statues of warriors and warlocks alike that sat as a form of copper.
  59.
  60. Slowly, ina begrudged gesture, his mouth shuts from its dumfounded open, and tears of black can be seen forming at the corners of his eyes, welling, and threatening to stream down the mans cheeks. Like his mouth that had clung to an open state in awe, his eyes would do the same.
  61.
  62. It were rather alarming to see the man this calm. The calm before the storm, Mudge would have called it, as such seemed to happen any time he were about to lose his shit.
  63. (Mudge Dubhglas)
  64. [00:06] It appeared to the woman that the information handed away like chocolate to a child wasn't registered positively. Good. That's how she wanted it, yet, with what Aspen had spoken, another phrase was meant to come thereafter-
  65.
  66. And her mouth dropped open to speak; nothing sounded from the Thalia. Naught but a tense silence between the ghoul drakanite and the bloodmancer.
  67.
  68. The woman's chin tilts upward, staring down and scutinizing his face for further reaction. The ebony tears welled in the corners of Mudge's eyes, unbeknownst to Aspen about their true purpose. Perhaps some display of power, or a way to relieve his anger?
  69.
  70. Who'd know, aside from he himself?
  71.
  72. The woman leans in closer to his face, staring intensely in an antagonizing manner, speaking up louder than a whisper, but still quiet.
  73.
  74. "Is that. An. Issue? You seem.. on edge."
  75. (Aspen Thalia)
  76. [00:15] And the calm would have resided, just as brief as its duration. A hand raises up to his face, eagerly rubbing away at it to smear the tears of black ichor that had begun to weep. As his eyes open, night but darkness would stare into the eyes of Aspen.
  77.
  78. Instinctively, as that hand fell from his face, it had landed upon the hilt of his sword. As Aspen leans forward, Mudge can only be seen giving a smile. For the many smiles Mudge had that were always friendly in nature, this, were not. It were one of warning. One of anger. One of sadism.
  79.
  80. In retort to Aspen's provocative words, Mudge would reply.
  81.
  82. "I don't know--"
  83.
  84. "But if you don't get your face out of mine, I'll fucking break it."
  85. (Mudge Dubhglas)
  86. [00:16] Ixis watches Mudge interact with the blood Magi, a slight frown on her face
  87. (Ixis Ultovex)
  88. [00:22] Mudge's hand reaches for his hilt. In retaliation, the woman does the same, releasing the black, metallic hilt of her weapon by unbuckling it from atop the thin sheath at her side, allowing what blood was contained within to be free, connecting to the metal, and forming into her blade of vitality.
  89.
  90. A smirk formed upon her visage, and she didn't move.
  91.
  92. Not one inch away.
  93.
  94. Not one inch forward.
  95.
  96. "Try me, Mudge." His name spoken with a hissed emphasis. Despite having more to reveal to him, perhaps it was best to get his aggression out of the way, or just to finally fight another for whatever gain it meant she'd grasp onto.
  97.
  98. "I-" A pause, her malicious grin stretches from ear to ear.
  99.
  100. "Fear-" Another pause; Aspen laughs vilely.
  101.
  102. "Nothing." More hissed out words, she expected a fight; that's what she wanted, and she went on to provoke him further.
  103. (Aspen Thalia)
  104. [00:22] Chroma Zanders says, "----"
  105. [00:23] Ixis Ultovex says, "I don't think this is the place to brawl publically..."
  106. [00:23] Chroma Zanders says, "Ease up. Would you? Take that to the fields, as well."
  107. [00:23] Chroma Zanders says, "Your job is to preserve piece, not disrupt it."
  108. [00:24] Sors Ultovex asks, "They havin' an honor duel?"
  109. [00:24] Sors Ultovex says, "Take it tha' fields."
  110. [00:24] Eniel turns their attention to the excessive hostility going on in the square...yeesh...was all of Agartha like this? The young boy wonders
  111. (Eniel Daigal)
  112. [00:27] Orlane says, "Indeed, Paladin. I thought members of the legion were supposed to protect the peace of this town - not cause havoc during it."
  113. [00:27] Moving to peek around the corner, Belle used the statue for a bit of concealment as she watched the potential brawl go down.
  114.
  115. Tucking a hand into her coat pocket as she nodded her head.
  116.
  117. "Take it th' grounds. Don't want to be scarin' off folk. Besides, we want to be better than Huang by avoidin' public brawls like this."
  118. (Belle Peers)
  119. [00:27] Eniel Daigal asks, "Whatsa Legion?"
  120. [00:27] Sors Ultovex says, "Tha' army."
  121. [00:27] Sors Ultovex asks, "Child. Anti-magic collar? ya o nah?"
  122. [00:27] Eniel Daigal says, "Oh theres an Army here? No wonder you guys are always looking so tough and serious haha."
  123. [00:28] Alice exclaims, "It is!"
  124. [00:28] Sors Ultovex asks, "Wha' ya do?"
  125. [00:28] Alice says, "Oh, nothing."
  126. [00:28] Ixis Ultovex says, "She wanted me to put it on her the other day."
  127. [00:28] Ixis Ultovex says, "I refused."
  128. [00:28] Alice says, "Err."
  129. [00:29] Sors Ultovex asks, "Jus' ta stick her in one?"
  130. [00:30] Aspen Thalia says, "This isn't me fighting as a Legion when it's a /personal/ matter."
  131. [00:30] Chroma Zanders says, "But it is."
  132. [00:30] Sors Ultovex says, "Thalia. Fields."
  133. [00:30] Chroma Zanders says, "Aye."
  134. [00:30] Aspen Thalia says, "I know."
  135. [00:31] Orlane says, "Are they not one anda the same? As a member of the legion - you represent it."
  136. [00:31] Eniel Daigal says, "Yeesh sounds like a tough job.."
  137. [00:31] Sors Ultovex says, "Ain't always."
  138. [00:37] Twitching more than a rodent with a broken spine, Mudge is quick to give a stuttered inhale. Adrenaline pumped through his veins far harder than it ever had in his time of disenthrallment. But now? Now, his heart raced as if his very life were on that of a tightrope, able to collapse in but a moment.
  139.
  140. And what were worse-- He adored that feeling. He registers it as euphoria, the perfection of 'feeling' which he had lacked in countless dark years in a cell like a caged animal, unable to see the light of day. But now, he were unshackled. Unbound.
  141.
  142. His fingers flex-- And there are claws. Round, elongated pieces of bone that jut through the mans scarred fingertips, sending only the faintest of splattering ichor to the ground.
  143.
  144. His breathing grew fast, hyperventilating as droplets of cold sweat drip down his brow, only bringing his unusually white teeth into a smile, revealing the curved, viperlike fangs of his that ever seeped venom.
  145.
  146. "Fear.. Fear.. Oh, I fear everything. I'm just some pussy."
  147.
  148. His face gets close to hers, smiling wide with that less than stable grin. The voices that called him back, that beckoned him off to the plains were but a blur in this adrenaline fed stasis.
  149.
  150. The black from his eyes spreads. No longer did it limit itself to his eyes, yet it also courses through his veins, giving an odd tatoo like structure over his eyes, cutting through flesh as the shadow which lay behind him, cast by the amalgamate of lanternlight and moonlight, disappears.
  151.
  152. "I want to be scared-- Make me scared. make me cry."
  153.
  154. His breathing accelerates, as his height carries him overtop of Aspen.
  155.
  156. "Beat me up. Make my blood boil just like she had. Make me scream, make me cry."
  157.
  158. "Lack of fear won't save you from me."
  159.
  160. If Aspen, whom were still in their right mind, cared to avoid the wrath of countless citizens and leaders of Dawn whom cooed disapproval, she'd best be leaving. Though, even then, Mudge would follow.
  161. (Mudge Dubhglas)
  162. [00:37] Ailin looks just a little disappointed.
  163. (Ailin)
  164. [00:38] Mariah says, "I feel as though something bad is happening just far enough away."
  165. [00:39] Eniel feels a chill in the air at the words Mudge was speaking...he'd make sure to avoid that man as much as possible.
  166. (Eniel Daigal)
  167. [00:51] How he reacted was with more aggression and an unstable demeanor. Blackened sclera showcase themselves of Mudge's form - a ghoul. His shadow disappears as well, as anticipated. Aspen detailed it all; mental notes were taken and kept.
  168.
  169. Without a flinch, or any movement as he draws nearer her position before him, her smirk only can grow as wide as it's expressed. Those words of his were enticing, ringing in her ears like soothing bells. Someone who expressed 'no' fear, who's words placed him in the category of a sadist, and a masochsist.
  170.
  171. Either or..
  172.
  173. The Thalia woman's blade raised; others beckoned her away from the settlement. Peace was meant to be kept by the Legionionares, yet.. for this ordeal that mattered not. Aspen's wings sent forward a powerful gust of wind against Mudge. Nothing that's cause him to stumble; it's mean was to raise her higher.
  174.
  175. A nail dragged along her skin. Blood drew forth, creating an abundance of dancing daggers poking within Eternia, leaking in depravity from the many rifts that were created along the atmosphere above her of a very short stature. More blood poured out from each, amalgamating old with the new, wafting a heavy coppery scent.
  176.
  177. Those wings adorning her back were enlarged to carry her weight higher. Higher. Elevating several feet past the man's own height.
  178.
  179. Yet- Those daggers liquify, reforming into yet another blade that tears a larger rift nearby her, allowing spirits to emerge that display a rather demonic appearance. Something akin to a nethradin, but not exactly. For whatever purpose she hadn't delved into Helheim's terrain yet to produce Nethradin was unknown- but this was where it had been.
  180.
  181. Two of those warriors appear through, stepping at her side, and she beckons Mudge to follow in her pursuit towards the field.
  182.
  183. "Not even I will fear a pathetic man likeyou, Mudge."
  184. (Aspen Thalia)
  185. [01:04] "That's right... I'm pathetic. I'm nothing. I'm weak."
  186.
  187. His words lay coated in a thick layer of acceptance and grief, as if he were about to cry. Yet, that waivering tone of his that would have led to him crying, erupts into a laughter. That black fluid continues to flow, leaking from his eyes, yet also staining the veins whish surround such. Atop such veins, tatoo's continue to grow, darkening drastically. His grin grows wider and wider, breaking what any natural human could have smiled. It were as if the corners of his lips had drawn back.
  188.
  189. His fangs only served to grind against his lower lip and gum, shredding such with anticipation that makes blood stream from his lips. Yet the intensity of his stare never waivered. He were mad-- Beyond angry, Mudge had lost it.
  190.
  191. The laughter grows, resounding, as his sword is ripped from its sheathe. The effort of pulling it from the encasement of reinforced leather were too much, the blade simply cleaving through the sheathe to render it useless.
  192.
  193. The tip of the blade his the ground with a thud, drawn back behind him, and twirled amidst the grass. Teeth that lay on the cutting edge of the blade glimmer amidst the moonlight, which had so happened to be that of a large, nearly full one.
  194.
  195. And so, Mudge begins to approach, in a slow walk.
  196.
  197. "I'm not alive, no, no--"FUCKING deadman!"
  198.
  199. That laughter only returned to its stasis of a giggle, yet his slow steps became a waltz of a walk.
  200.
  201. "I'm a dead man. A dead man, A dead man! You cant kill a dead man!"
  202.
  203. Words became a spitting song, glimmering saliva spraying from his crudely singing lips. It were anything but thought out nor refined, yet it served its purpose.
  204.
  205. "No-- But you can make a dead man live again... Do it. Do it. DO IT!" The man screams out, before erupting into a crazed fit of laughter once more. Just what had he been rambling about? it were but a blur in his own, distant eyes.
  206.
  207. A waltz became a charge, one laced with venom. One that served for Mudge to slam his blade forth in effort to run Aspen through the chest.
  208. (Mudge Dubhglas)
  209. [01:31] As the sideliners spectated, making their bets, the voices of the Dawn's inhabitants were solely drowned out. Her attention was fixed towards the spoken words of Mudge, his screaming, his rambling, and finally..
  210.
  211. The loudness of his voice filled her with an enraged irritancy, causing the bloodmancer to reel back, turning, and evaporating into a mist of ichor that hazed the field in red.
  212.
  213. Her wings of blood disappeared within it, creating a miasma of spiked vitality that poked at the former Latorre, breaking through his own flesh to amalgamate with his blood, rendering him with decelerated movements and lowered defenses.
  214.
  215. That's when the woman reappeared nearby, breaking open through Eternia. One rift.
  216.
  217. Two.
  218.
  219. Three..
  220.
  221. Four. Multiple were torn asunder in their physical realm. Attacks brutally assaulted Mudge left and right of her natural fluids, ice, and the distraction of those demonically formed warriors that screeched at the drakanite.Already she had been panting from the tiresome feat of the energy used in their creations, but it proved fruitful in her endeavor to ultimately bring him down.
  222.
  223. To tear him apart.
  224.
  225. Little by little- until the end.
  226.
  227. Therefore..
  228.
  229. Aspen closed in with celerity, shattering her blade against the ghoul's skull to force him back. Despite that little performance, she kept a steady grip on the hilt, and within seconds it reformed!
  230.
  231. Gazing up, Aspen's blood collects towards her body into a multitude of daggers that hover just above her body, frosting over with layers of ice to make them less brittle, and preparing to attack him yet again.
  232.
  233. The rifts remained where they'd been opened; the woman steps through, finding herself again across the field with those spirits in tow.
  234.
  235. "You truly are pathetic, Pierce Latorre. I'm surprise Donovan would botherto thrall such a weak thing like you."
  236.
  237. More slander, more provocation, she wanted MORE of his aggression to surface. For him to work HARDER for this victory.
  238.
  239. But if he didn't?
  240.
  241. Those attacks of hers would render him with something brutal.
  242. (Aspen Thalia)
  243. [01:42] Their bout is a less than clean one. Remnants of mana infused ichor combining with the toxins the man fought with ever so masterfully with, leaving a gelatin like fluid amidst the battleground. ichor congeals at the very touch of Mudge's magic, yet alas, it is not enough.
  244.
  245. His poorly coordinated strikes happen to land upon Aspen's form many times, yet even then, it is not enough. Blood keeps him at bay, where water had not. Yet even still, he fights on in his mindless, savage-esque state.
  246.
  247. The black the clouds his eyes grows. Veins between his eyes connect with such a black fluid replacing his own blood, causing the very vessels within his pores to burst.
  248.
  249. His own blessing of Cain, one of being a Ghou, left his humanity at bay. Even as Aspen shatters her blade over the back of his head, he is only sent forward into a stumble. Flesh begins to crawl in where not only his bone, but the thin layer of skin and meat, back together. Webbing, a scab quickly sealsthe wound, leaving Mudge to slowly rise upwards once more, smiling to Aspen with a newfound brightness. The darkness in his eyes did much to contrast the smile, closelipped, upon his visage.
  250.
  251. Yet even that smile begins to fade as she says such a word. Latorre. She called him Latorre.
  252.
  253. To many, such a thing could have passed by without a care, without so much as a notice. But Mudge? No.
  254.
  255. Tears begin to form once more, and a once smiling upcurl of the lips begins to quake into a scowl, before in a loud, sobbing amalgamate of a confused ramble and a cry escapes his lips.
  256.
  257. "I'm-. no. No. No. No. No."
  258.
  259. "Shut the-- No. Fuck. Fuck. FUCK."
  260.
  261. His hand rises to his face, his claw's retracting as his fingers press tightly against his own eyes, threatening to gouge them out. If his breathing weren't hyperventilating enough, each breath replaced the timespan two would have taken. Now, however, that shattering scream he had taken so fondly to, escapes his lips.
  262.
  263. "I'm... I'm. Not. Fucking. LATORRE!"
  264.
  265. Now, in a fit of sobs, Mudge launches himself at Aspen. Faster than before. Angrier than before. Hungrier, than before.
  266. (Mudge Dubhglas)
  267. [01:43] ** Aspen Thalia has inflicted an injury upon Mudge Dubhglas. ("Temporary Injury", "Temporary Injury", "Temporary", "Duration: Medium (4 days)") **
  268. [02:15] Agile movement is launched at the bloodmancer by the heavily angered ghoul, causing her lips to curl upward further - as far as they could potentially go, but before Mudge could land a strike along the frame of the woman, a single dagger slashed downward before her body, sending him away through a rift where he emerges elsewhere on the opposite side of the field.
  269.
  270. Six portals now settle along the battlegrounds. Depravity floods through the fields, wavering further like a thick fog of dread that crashes along the shores of their bodies, licking aggressively and opposing all.
  271.
  272. Each blow landed against the other are taken advantage of - be it his own black blood or Aspen's seeping through her broken flesh; albeit some of those minor wounds heal near instantly; seconds pass by between when they're formed and when they close.
  273.
  274. But...
  275.
  276. That haze comes forth because of more blood drawn out from the very Thalia's body and the portals all around, attacking Mudge's defenses relentlessly while those daggers of blood pierce him, and she was adamant on putting him against the ground.
  277.
  278. And finally.. despite his best efforts to bring Aspen down, he was ultimately the loser of this match.
  279.
  280. Somewhere nearby one of the many thresholds that remain open, a spherical form of water forms, blasting through as he draws near her again to send him away. The blades, frosted over with ice, find themselves traveling through that very canon, piercing into his flesh without remorse.
  281.
  282. And she steps nearer to him now, panting heavily. The wings of her ichor extend outward beautifully, gracefully, as her enlarged, lengthy blade drags through the grass, leaving a trail behind her in the dirt.
  283.
  284. Each rift portal closes one by one with the last two remaining being used to send those warriors back to their realm.
  285.
  286. Finally, Aspen finds herself before the fallen drakanite, stepping a boot down heavily on his stomach and pointing her blade towards his throat. An illumination of her power draws forth in her blade and eyes - even the daggers of blood circulating around her person above dimly illuminate for all to witness.
  287.
  288. "You wanted to feel pain?
  289.
  290. You wanted something to fear, right?"
  291.
  292. They crash down relentlessly again, piercing his body. No mien is formed upon her visage that displays emotion. She was entirely stoic.
  293.
  294. "You wanted to feel ALIVE, DIDN'T YOU, LATORRE? YOU WANTED TO FEEL SOMETHING MORE THAN WORTHLESSNESS; MORE THAN A DEAD MAN, MUDGE?"
  295.
  296. She screams out, allowing those blades to liquify and fill his body, amalgamating within the veins of the ghoul, filling him entirely with more blood than a single human's body could handle. Of course, that feat wasn't without symptoms! They'd temporarily bring him constant harm.
  297.
  298. Another layer of those daggers pierce unharmed flesh, despite his healing properties in the battle between life and death, they go at it again, filling him with more of her blood. A third time then before she reels back.
  299.
  300. No.. he didn't have enough, and she believed that. Another time, however, if the man wanted to face her, she wouldn't stop, even if she'd go too far.
  301.
  302.
  303. (Aspen Thalia)
  304. [02:32] Loss bit harder than any cold. Any creature, nor any emotion. It throbs within his very essence, the rage, the humiliation as Aspen taunts him. However, it were in this anger he lost himself like a fool trapped within an ocean. Thrust down to the crushing depths in which all were black. Mudge weren't fighting Aspen anymore-- But himself.
  305.
  306. There were no more words from the man. The ebon fluid that stains his eyes only continues to flow through his veins, searing through them as if they were but the strongests of acids. Crimson became black, and the deft reconstruction of his flesh then and there left tatoo's of his very veins amidst his upper body, extending to the elbow. He were losing.
  307.
  308. His blade had since been cast to the ground, erect from the frosted, maimed grass below. as the handle stuck upright. Mudge no longer felt the desire to fight as a civilized being would to another, but instead, his claws threatened to cut through Aspen's very flesh on countless occasions.
  309.
  310. As countless daggers, formed of blood and frosted of ice breach his flesh, he can do no more than smile maniacally, his ghoulish eyes only widening. Blood, so much blood. Yet, there was no pain. He had become numb to the pain that came with overextensive mingling with anothers blood, even as his fleash can be seen inflating as if he were some crude balloon of flesh.
  311.
  312. In a final effort, abandoning his fight with himself, Mudge forfeits. The shadow which had merged with him had fully taken over, no longer mute. Incomprehensible, the screams of Cains gift ring aloud for all to hear. The sickening cry of hunger and depravity, to struggle against what Aspen had formed in her own right.
  313.
  314. And even still-- it's not enough.
  315.
  316. He finds himself fettered to the ground by the womans foot, nigh more than smiling sadistically up to the woman. He loved the pain, he thrived off of it-- And there he can be seen staring up with a twisted anticipation. Eager, for what were to come.
  317.
  318. More blood. More blood. More blood.
  319.
  320. The sickening chant of voices within his own mind left him dizzy. Lost. The darkness that Mudge had been buried in slowly began to wane, as the man had been yanked from that very body of water he once found himself in. Gagging, sputtering, the man can be seen coughing on the ground, hands rising to his face.
  321.
  322. Crying. Confused. Lost.
  323. (Mudge Dubhglas)
  324. [02:42] Mariah says, "Lord Ultovex? I've news of an attack on the tower of Obsidia's near the western caves."
  325. [02:43] Her weighed down foot was removed from the stomach of the ghoul. The mithril armored leggings were splattered with various hues of blood both black and red, separating along the metallic build.
  326.
  327. As Aspen turns away from the weeping man, her weapon reforms into a liquid state, gliding back inside of the scabbard that was clearly too thin to hold a weapon of that size she created. It was enough to hold her blood, however.
  328.
  329. Slowly, her eyes dart among the crowd of spectators in silence, ultimately happening upon her husband, Zephixo. Just how long had he been watching his counter-part's brutality? A slight smirk forms as she stares at the dryad, aiming to near his person. Ice laces the grass below her feet with each step. The closer she closes their distance, the colder the atmosphere becomes, but not of a threatening ambiance that she held amidst the battle.
  330.
  331. The drakanite is left behind to weep in confusion, lost in his mind's battle. No words are spoken of she who glances again towards those present, scrutinizing for reactions of her victory and or malicious demeanor beforehand.
  332. (Aspen Thalia)
  333. [02:46] His gaze slowly follows Aspen, clouded by the tears that stained his eyes. A sickly gray, as mortal tears intermingle with that of black one. His stare is hard to discern. There is no anger, no malice-- Only identification.
  334.
  335. Aspen.
  336.
  337. He'd remember that face-- Even if he couldn't remember everything that transpired during their bout.
  338.
  339. But pain doesn't require memory.
  340.
  341. Slowly, the man would rise, plucking his sword from the ground, and shambling off as tears fall shamelessly from his face.
  342. (Mudge Dubhglas)
