Dumah's form is slender and light, but you'll be hard-pressed to find anyone who'll describe her that way. She is strong and unyielding; it's clear in the way she telegraphs her movements. [i]Deliberate[/i]: that's the word for Dumah. Under her fur and feathers is the same granite as found under the downy snow of the Icefields from whence she came.

Dumah is bedrock. She's been here longer than most can rightly remember; she's stood strong through upheavals big and small, and watched the clan's leadership shatter and shift, like a fine and intricate mural laid out in sand. She remains a fixed point in the clan, an unmovable stone around which the life of the clan ebbs and flows.

Those closest to her -- namely Roma, Thranduil, and Boreas -- know that, while Dumah is as enduring and resolute as stone, she is neither as cold nor as unfeeling. She is often quiet, but only because she values words: if she speaks, she means for it to matter, for her words to flow from her carefully measured. She's lived long and seen enough to know the price of carelessness and thoughtless speech.
