  1. [18:32] Skyul Sork says, "The graveyard sucks."
  2. [18:32] Momo says, "Oh! You! I have to beat you up."
  3. [18:32] Skyul Sork says, "This has been a public service announcement."
  4. [18:33] Skyul Sork exclaims, "You may beat me but you can never beat SALVATION!"
  5. [18:33] Momo says, "Mmm, I dunno what that means, but I'm going to beat you up for Lord Seneval now."
  6. [18:34] Skyul Sork says, "Isn't that guy a demon or something? I've actually been looking to work for one since i have no other job choices at this point."
  7. [18:34] Momo says, "Huh..? Lord Seneval's a demon, yeah."
  8. [18:34] Skyul Sork asks, "You think i can apply for a job?"
  9. [18:34] Momo says, "But he doesn't like you."
  10. [18:34] Skyul Sork asks, "Why?"
  11. [18:34] Momo asks, "I think he said... You talked a lot and meant nothing, or something?"
  12. [18:34] Skyul Sork says, "Oh wait nevermind. I'll still apply for the job if i can though. "
  13. [18:35] Momo asks, "Can I beat you up?"
  14. [18:35] Skyul Sork says, "Depends if i can apply for the job."
  15. [18:36] Momo says, "Maybe. I'll tell him you let me beat you up if you want."
  16. [18:36] Skyul Sork says, "Yeah but i'd need something in return to get beat up."
  17. [18:36] Momo says, "Mmm... Too bad."
  18. [18:36] Momo asks, "I gotta beat you up now. Hold still, okay?"
  19. [18:36] Skyul Sork exclaims, "Wait i have a question!"
  20. [18:36] Momo asks, "Whaaaat?"
  21. [18:36] Skyul Sork asks, "What have borders given us? Is there any reason at all for borders to exist in this world?"
  22. [18:36] Momo says, "..."
  23. [18:37] The girl blinked a few times, seeming puzzled at the boy in utter confusion for a few moments. Just a moment, really. Then, she flared her eyes blue.
  24.
  25. "Gonna beat you up, now,"She muttered.
  26. (Momo)
  27. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  28.
  29. [18:38] Seneca existed.
  30. (Seneca)
  31. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  32.
  33. [18:39] The philosopher and coward put his hands together and it made a clapping noise.
  34.
  35. "Not if i have anything to say about it, and i do!"
  36.
  37. The philosopher coward proceeded to giggle
  38.
  39. "Fuck borders, and fuck the law."
  40. (Skyul Sork)
  41. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  42.
  43. [18:39] The child moved, trying to catc up to the coward.
  44. (Momo)
  45. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  46.
  47. [18:39] Skyul Sork says, "SEE YA SUCKERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR"
  48. [18:40] Caught Skyul for jailing once more.
  49. (Seneca)
  50. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  51.
  52. [18:40] Seneca says, "I do wonder."
  53. [18:40] {Item} You picked up .. Dropped by Skyul Sork. .
  54. [18:41] Seneca says, "Hmm."
  55. [18:41] Seneca says, "So, about this serving Seneval."
  56. [18:41] Seneca asks, "And serving demons, can I ask why?"
  57. [18:41] Momo says, "Mhm! Do you wanna meet Lord Seneval too? I've not met you before."
  58. [18:42] Skyul Sork says, "I'm looking for jobs and it seems working for a demon is in my best interests. And it seems pretty useful to help me with my goal."
  59. [18:42] Seneca says, "I have met Seneval, I have fought Seneval, feasted up by Seneval, saved by Seneval, tortured by Seneval. I do believe I know them quite well."
  60. [18:42] Momo says, "... Ehh? Are you..."
  61. [18:42] Momo gasped quietly!
  62. (Momo)
  63. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  64.
  65. [18:42] Momo asks, "Are you his boyfriend...?"
  66. [18:42] Seneca says, "I..."
  67. [18:42] Skyul Sork says, "No."
  68. [18:42] Seneca blinked.
  69. (Seneca)
  70. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  71.
  72. [18:42] *Stares in SALVATION!*
  73. (Skyul Sork)
  74. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  75.
  76. [18:42] Seneca says, "No, I am not... Though, I can see how you might think that."
  77. [18:42] Seneca looks at Skyul.
  78. (Seneca)
  79. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  80.
  81. [18:43] Seneca says, "You can go just... Consider not working for Demons I don't want to arrest you again."
  82. [18:43] Momo asks, "Arrest?"
  83. [18:44] Momo says, "Mm... Are you- You're not fro Theria, Theria doesn't mind Demons... Ah, wait..."
  84. [18:44] Seneca says, "It means, taking someone to the side to quesiton why they're doing something."
  85. [18:44] Skyul Sork says, "One, you wouldn't be able to arrest me since i don't believe in the law. Two, I'm pretty sure that would help me learn something."
  86. [18:44] Seneca says, "That's correct, I'm from Hessalia."
  87. [18:44] Skyul Sork says, "The word 'Arrest' is a fictional word made by spooks."
  88. [18:44] Seneca says, "Boo."
  89. [18:44] Momo asks, "Hessalia?"
  90. [18:45] Seneca says, "Well... Originally, I spent a lot of time further north growing up."
  91. [18:45] Skyul Sork exclaims, "Boooooooo!"
  92. [18:45] Momo says, "Mm... Well, I'm Momo. I... live somewhere, yeah."
  93. [18:46] Seneca says, "Spooky."
  94. [18:46] Seneca says, "I am Seneca the Fifth."
  95. [18:46] Momo asks, "The fifth? There's four other Senecas?"
  96. [18:46] Skyul Sork says, "Would you mind dropping that paper so more people can read it? Just put it near the entrance."
  97. [18:48] Seneca exclaims, "Yes, there are! You're the first to inquire about such!"
  98. [18:48] {Item} You drop ..
  99. [18:48] Momo asks, "Can you tell me about them?"
  100. [18:55] The Bone Lord's focus shifted from Skyul to Momo. Slits of violet looking over them closely. As if trying to figure them out. His gaze lingered upon there serpentine features for a few moments.
  101.
  102. "Another Drakanite? I seem to be running more and more into my people."
  103.
  104. Of course as he spoke those silver scales covering his skin shimmered in the light. His lips curled upwards offering Momo a soft smile.
  105.
  106. "Yes, I can tell you all you wish to know. Perhaps as we speak you can tell me why you have chosen to serve Seneval. I am curious about that one, they seem less intent on the genocide of Humanity."
  107.
  108. He shifted from the wall striding over to look down upon the youth. His hand rose, index finger extended. "Seneca the First was a great King of the Shar, who lead his people into an age of great prosperity."
  109.
  110. Another digit extended. "Seneca the Second was born in poverty and worked his entire life to uplift those whosuffered such injustices. Learning to heal the sick and injured.
  111.
  112. Seneca the Third, she was a simple woman. Who married young and spent her days maintaining her farm and raising a family. A good mother and a good person.
  113.
  114. Seneca the Fourth appeared within the far off lands of Agartha and helped to save a city from annilation by a great natural blight.
  115.
  116. I think they're all dead though. Leaving only me, the fifth. Born of the Lake, here to try and help where I can."
  117. (Seneca)
  118. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  119.
  120. [18:57] The child stared with wide eyes, her mouth opening slightly to reveal the tips of her fangs. She giggled a little bi.
  121.
  122. "Oh, I'm not a Drakanite, I'm a-" She paused, before clearing her throat,"A-anyway..."
  123.
  124. She forgot, she needed to be subtle, it was best others not from Theria or the Demon Tower know about her..
  125.
  126. She nodded her head a few times,"Really? So many Senecas, and yet they're all so cool! I hope you get to be cool too, Seneca the Fifth." She nodded her head several times, before pointing a sharp nailed hand towards her own person.
  127.
  128. "I'm Momo! I'm from Sudbury, and... that's... that's it."
  129. (Momo)
  130. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  131.
  132. [19:02] "That's it? Nonsense, I would wager you've lived an interesting life. It's hard not to after all, the world is amazing."
  133.
  134. As he spoke they'd bring a hand up, trailing there fingers through ashen bangs. Tucking them behind his ears as they looked over the Momo.
  135.
  136. "I'll just be me, though I thank you for the kind wishes. I've been to Sudbury, it appears to have been cleaned up a little as of late. However, with the Verona virus things are rough. Is that's what you are? Someone afflicted with it?"
  137.
  138. It was a pretty reasonable guess, not a drakanite but has scales. Serpent demon's plague afflicts the kingdom. Really it just all rolls out to make sense.
  139. (Seneca)
  140. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  141.
  142. [19:04] The girl paused, seeming to stutter a little bit. Clenching her teeth together, she laughed awkwardly and scratched a sharp nail against her cheek.
  143.
  144. "W-well... Yeah! I got sick, but I'm alive, so, you know... It's okay, everything's okay for now." She sighed nervously. "It hurt, but it's better now."
  145.
  146. She shifted on her feet, nervously fidgeting.
  147.
  148. "Uhm"
  149. (Momo)
  150. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  151.
  152. [19:09] Seneca's gaze never wavered as they listened to Momo's words. It was starting to come together, all the pieces. Of course there wasn't much he could say about it.
  153.
  154. "I wonder if there's a reason you got better. It's good! Maybe, they could figure out how you lived and make a cure?" As he spoke his smile seemed to widen, his violet hues glowing softly.
  155.
  156. "So, you feel fine? No more trouble breathing? None of the other symptoms?" Though as he noticed the youth's nervousness he would pause, taking a small step back.
  157.
  158. "Sorry, I didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable it's just a lot of people aren't lucky enough to survive."
  159. (Seneca)
  160. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  161.
  162. [19:11] The girl stared at the man, as kind as he was being. She felt something, a bit of trickle of hope that maybe not all of the people in Osrona were bad.
  163.
  164. But she knew that they were all slaves, that was what Veles said, what Veles knew. And it was what Momo knew, too.
  165.
  166. So she folded her hands together, laughing awkwardly. "I'm... fine. I'm really fine, like... I feel weird, and sometimes I have nightmares... And sometimes, I black out, and I wake up somewhere else."
  167.
  168. Closing her eyes, she sighed quietly.
  169.
  170. "I'm sorry. I'm nervous... Because other people have tried to hurt me because of the sickness."
  171. (Momo)
  172. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  173.
  174. [19:19] The Smiling Dragon's smile faltered just a little as they listened. Attacked because you didn't die to a monster's curse? That's simply not right.
  175.
  176. "I apologize for your struggles, please see it in your heart to forgive those who tried to harm you. These are trying times and they to are scared. Fear make's people go against there better natures."
  177.
  178. As he spoke his hand rose to rub the back of his neck. A soft sigh escaping his lips. "Of course that doesn't help you much but perhaps you'll find it easier to understand them."
  179.
  180. After a few more moments he'd shift his hands back over his chest. 'Sorry, I know enough now to know why you'd be worried in my presence. I only engage those who would harm the innocent and from where I'm standing. You're plenty innocent."
  181. (Seneca)
  182. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  183.
  184. [19:24] The girl was unsure of what to think. The fact that the man was... so kind. Was so caring and so forgiving- so understanding.
  185.
  186. Even if she was trying to hide her true nature, how she was actually one of Lady Veles's Cambions. She stepped back a little bit, her eyes watering. Her expression was blank, but the tears were there. They were running down her cheeks, and she just stared at the man.
  187.
  188. Her expression was blank, empty. As though all emotion was sucked from her body. Her slit pupils stared blankly at Seneca, the dull yellow turning back to light blue.
  189.
  190. "I... can't..." She murmured, shaking. Trembling and whimpering. "I can't be innocent... anymore." She whispered, though to herself more than to Seneca.
  191.
  192. She'd signed her life away, her very soul to the Dark Lord. It was too late for her, too late for her to be innocent.
  193.
  194. The day she contracted the virus was the day her actual innocence died.
  195.
  196. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry I-...I'm not used to someone being so kind. The others all tell me, I can't be... emotional. I can't show that I'm weak anymore. Because I'm..."
  197.
  198. She breathed shakily.
  199. (Momo)
  200. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  201.
  202. [19:38] There was a certain pain that seemed to cross the draconic man's features. It was hidden with the smile, behind those bright hues. Yet, it was there. The pain of seeing another innocent tortured so. Suffering so.
  203.
  204. How strong did he have to be to save them?
  205.
  206. It was a question he'd asked since stepping forth from the Lake. Those spectral eyes, a slave to the Dark Lord. To the Nethradin deep within Helheim. One so young, brought into the shadows.
  207.
  208. It was a robbery of more than he could ever hope the recover. One that he was unlikely to ever be able to help. Her words trialed through the air, the effeminate man's tampered ears twitching softly. Listening to each syllable as if it were the center of his existence.
  209.
  210. There was the breath, the pause. What came next happened in but an instant. The gap between himself and the cambion faded away into nothing. With the speed and precision only those blighted by a life of constant battle possessed.
  211.
  212. The Knight's arms wrapped about the youth's shoulders. Pulling them into a hug, soft, careful, warm. His body was that of a dragons, the fiery heat from within providing warmth to all those close.
  213.
  214. A hand rose to stroke the girl's hair softly as he started to speak. "Ssh, it's alright Momo. I understand, let it out. Rage, cry, whatever you've bottled I will listen, withstand, understand.
  215.
  216. You've signed away your after-life to the halls of Helheim. That doesn't mean you've lost your life. It doesn't mean you've lost your innocence. Not in my eyes and not in the eyes of the creator."
  217.
  218. His gaze shifted, those violet hues softly gazing upon the girls spectral blues. Though, he said nothing more. Simply being there, a warm presence for them.
  219.
  220. (Seneca)
  221. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  222.
  223. [19:45] The girl was suddenly embraced, and against all instincts telling her to strike, telling her to hit him while he was struck by her sudden tears- she couldn't. She couldn't.
  224.
  225. The human inside of her cried for release, and she began to Scream. It wasn't anger, it was pain. Her screams were hoarse, her screech likely hurting the ears of those with sensitive ear drums. Still? She reached up and dug her nails into his back if she could.
  226.
  227. Because he was so warm. He cared about her, he was like Lukas, but even Lukas was with the demons. Someone who approved of what they did, or at least didn't defend against it.
  228.
  229. But this wasn't about which one was better. This was about the pain she'd been holding up, hiding behind her happier self. She was scared, no, she was horrified at what she'd become. Told the first day she was brought to the demon tower that she had to be strong or die...
  230.
  231. "I'm so scared. I-I don't want to die. I don't want to die. I don't want to disappear. Every day, I feel like a piece of me dies, and a piece of myself just vanishes. Every day I become more- More like THEM! Like I don't care, like... like I'm..."
  232.
  233. She sobbed,"Like I'm going to vanish, and never come back. I've tried so hard, to be good for them, but they won't see me as more than what they want. And I'm scared to go back home, because if I do I'll die too."
  234.
  235. "I DON'T WANT TO DIE!"
  236. (Momo)
  237. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  238.
  239. [19:52] They wandered aimlessly from the north, going south. The trip was uneventful until they passed the church-- Two familiar faces, one more than the other. An embrace? Sobbing?
  240.
  241. Ocean hues narrowed a bit but that hate was too strong. That kindness took the backseat for who knows how long yet for Momo it threatened to return. They took a few steps closer, their boot heel clacked against the stone.
  242.
  243. "What's this? You're going to die?" Lukas leaned down a bit, their trident wobbled a dispersed into nothing. "You want to go home, too?"
  244.
  245. A child stolen from her childhood, forced into the ranks of the demons. It's a sad fate, one that this 'Lady Veles' sought to bring about for everyone, or so they heard.
  246.
  247. Destroy humanity. And what was Lukas, a mere mercenary, to do about it?
  248.
  249. They smiled at Momo, like normally, one slight yet warm.
  250.
  251. "You're not going to die, dear. Solong as you're moving you're not dead. And where are you going? Will you hold on to your humanity or fall deeper into the pits of Hel? Mh? It's okay to cry."
  252.
  253. While in Seneca's embrace, they briefly patted the young girl's head-- Their hand is bloodied and bruised, the knuckles especially.
  254. (Lukas mer Joyau)
  255. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  256.
  257. [20:09] Of course he expected to be struck; as he'd said before. Fear made people do things they otherwise wouldn't. It was the greatest cause of pain in the world and yet... She did the healthier thing. She cried, it was the sound of release. Painful, heartbreaking, yet so honest.
  258.
  259. His ears bled softly as the scream lengthened. Those tapered lengths to keenly developed for hearing the subtle differences in a persons voice. In the sounds of animals, in the quiet things of the world.
  260.
  261. Her hands? Slid along adamantine at first. Yet, quickly they slipped between the cracks in his old armor. A cheap relic found within the mines; battered and shattered by the struggles against those who'd destroy the world. Her nails dug deeply into the scaled flesh below.
  262.
  263. He listened, where his ears failed he simply felt the words as they spoke. The pain and sorrow almost resonating within his own heart. His eyes damped as soft trickles of water spilled from them.
  264.
  265. It was a surprise when the words of Lukas cut across the clearing. Though, even as they spoke his focus never waivered. Gazing down upon the child. Listening to Lukas' words as they spoke. His focus shifted towards Lukas for a moment, just a moment.
  266.
  267. Then, his lips parted and words slipped between them. "Death. Living. Surviving. All of these things mean something different for those who hear them. Many fear death but it is only through dying that we get the chance to experience the world again. Even those who will spend a time in the Spirit world, are able to reincarnate and see the world again."
  268.
  269. "Though, that is the simple truth. A... Mechanical thing. Momo, someone once asked me why I was willing to die to defend others. Do you know what I told them?"
  270.
  271. As he spoke those violet hues settled on the sobbing child. "I said, if I refused to do what I thought was right. If I did not do all in my power to help those like you who are alone and scared." His smile twisted, almost forlorn.
  272.
  273. "If I refused, then who I am would die. My body would live but I wouldn't be the same. That is surviving, you bend your spirit further and further away from your soul. You twist yourself for others and slowly you stop living. You stop being who you are, who you can be and instead simply survive. As who they want."
  274.
  275. He slowly took a knee, allowing himself to be a little more face to face with the child. "If you come back with me. I will give my life to ensure yours is secured. What's happened to you could be prevented for others. You could be cured, the pact may even be broken, but I can guarantee none of these things the city may be drowned in the demonic host. I and you may be struck down by those lost to fear. Yet..."
  276.
  277. He paused for a moment, eyes closing softly to clear the tears welled up within them.
  278.
  279. "I would offer you a chance to live and it will be a chance I will always give unto you."
  280.
  281. He had worked to explain the differences of living and surviving. Explained why he, a no one taken up cheap armor and weaponry had stood up to the demonic host. Not because it was easy, not because he wasn't scared, but because he wouldn't be human if he didn't try.
  282. (Seneca)
  283. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  284.
  285. [20:17] The child continued to sob, though her screams tapered off. Her body was shivering as though absolutely frigid, but anyone with a brain would know that she wasn't cold. She was just still terrified, still confused. Still... Still her.
  286.
  287. Something hurt, inside of her. Something hurt a lot. If she were to go, if she were to go with this man- would she face salvation? Would she be able to go back? Or... Or would she not. Would she be damned because she was a budding witch - was a demon-blooded person?
  288.
  289. Seneca was kind, but the other knights... were they also just as kind, or would they damn her to death?
  290.
  291. "Lukas..." She murmured, shivering and whimpering,"What do I do...? I don't want to leave Ryan, and Aerymi A-and Lady Sibylle, she was kind to me. But I don't want... I don't.. I don't..."
  292.
  293. Her shoulders slumped- her fearful trembling? Began to settle down. Her fear emptied, and she stared in a blank manner once more, her mouth positioned into a frown.
  294.
  295. "... I can't... I'm Lady Veles's Cambion." She spoke mechanically, as if she had accepted it long ago.
  296. (Momo)
  297. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  298.
  299. [20:28] A better life for a Cambion? They'd kill her on sight. In the eyes of Osronan's they weren't redeemable- Or so Lukas assumed. Here, a Knight offered hope for Momo. It seemed false.
  300.
  301. Then she looked to Lukas. They blinked then hummed.
  302.
  303. "There are people you love, mhm, mhm. But then the demons are ever present. Ever wishing for the demise of humanity, allies and all-- Or so I assume. They're demons after all."
  304.
  305. The Warlord was aware of such ever since Tanya came into the city hysterical over witnessing demons. Eventually, they'd turn. It was a waiting game. Lukas hummed a bit more, a pleasant tune, one meant for a child.
  306.
  307. "What to do~? What to do indeed..." Nothing but demise awaited this forced human, demon monstrosity.
  308.
  309. "I think you should follow your heart. But does your heart bind you to those you've met or your humanity? I cannot decide for you. I'd rather you do what's best for you. I care not for the end goal that Veles wishes for but, I care for you and your happiness.. So, go where you need to. I'm loyal to my own will so if you decide to go with this person then they'll hear nothing from me. I can promise you that."
  310.
  311. While Therians did tolerate the demons, each Therian was their own. Perhaps Seneca was aware of that with a certain Therian. They did as they pleased, free and loyal to their own will.
  312. (Lukas mer Joyau)
  313. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  314.
  315. [20:44] There it was, the return to what was safe. What was drilled into her to adhere to. Lady Vele's Cambion was it? After but a moment he'd let out a sigh, filled with sadness as he spoke just before Lukas.
  316.
  317. "Really? At the moment you look like Momo to me." His lips curled softly, a tilt of his head as he looked up at them. It was clear that to him? They'd done nothing wrong.
  318.
  319. Those violet hues shifted up to listen to Lukas. It was an answer he could understand. It wasn't that he disagreed with them. It was after all clear that he didn't hate the demons for existing. Clearly or else he would had rebuked the Cambions existence.
  320.
  321. The world wasn't black and white, it was shades of grey. Yet, where one saw the shades is what defined them as a human being. For Seneca? The white of the world outweighed all else.
  322.
  323. He brought a hand up, his sleeve curled over his hand. Gently he wiped away the tears that remained upon Momo's eyes and cheeks. Speaking as he did so.
  324.
  325. "Follow your heart as you wish, for in the end it is what will keep you Human. For it connects most deeply with the soul. No matter what though, know that my love for you. As a human being, an innocent, and a friend. Will never wither."
  326.
  327. His hand returned to there shoulder. The others within Osrona may not be as kind they may not be as willing to give themselves wholly to the betterment of the world but it was clear that Seneca was.
  328. (Seneca)
  329. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  330.
  331. [20:50] 'At the moment, you look like Momo to me.'
  332.
  333. The voice, the statement, removed her mindset for a moment. She looked towards Seneca in silence, her eyes puffy red, the spectral sight disappearing into those dull yellowed eyes.
  334.
  335. She removed her nails from the man's flesh, shaking. Leaning in against him, she muttered in silence.
  336.
  337. "Big Bro..Lady Sibylle Aemyri, Ryu... Lionas What do I do... where do I go... can I save the rest of you...?" She stared, in a hooded manner, before collapsing against Seneca, shivering.
  338.
  339. "I want to go home..."
  340.
  341. Was her only response, before she went silent. Her head lowered, her hat covering her eyes that closed. It seemed like she'd blacked out from the stress.
  342. (Momo)
  343. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  344.
  345. [20:56] Home? What was home to her?
  346.
  347. Lukas hummed quietly. She spoke the names of those who on her 'side', the one she was whisked onto upon becoming a Cambion. It was sticky indeed. She could come to Theria, she could go to Osrona-- Despite what's said, Theria still bears its own twisted humanity.
  348.
  349. No one was beyond saving, helping, lending a hand to. That much Lukas believed. With enough effort and time, things can change.
  350.
  351. Ocean hues fell to Seneca.
  352.
  353. "Looks like she... passed out. Take her somewhere, keep her hidden, if that's what you desire. If not, drop her off at Theria and said Lukas said to- In case you were, for some reason, to get problems."
  354.
  355. The Warlord turned south now.
  356.
  357. "Humanity is strong within every human, Seneca."
  358.
  359. They smiled though the Drakanite couldn't see. Whatever it meant, it was said anyway, and they continued walking.
  360. (Lukas mer Joyau)
  361. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  362.
  363. [21:08] It was all happening so smoothly, so painfully, so horribly, so amazingly. Someone, of all those that Seneca had tried to help. Someone had finally accepted it in there own way. They would turn to Lukas as they spoke for a moment. Listening to their words.
  364.
  365. "I shall do all within my power to keep them safe. Theria is where I shall go if they turn me away within Osrona but that is where those educated with the healing arts reside. Those most likely to be able to help her."
  366.
  367. As he spoke his arms would sweep up the girl under the legs, supporting her shoulders as he tightened his grip. Looking to the departing Lukas for a few moments more before his gaze returned to Momo.
  368.
  369. Now. Now he could finally make the efforts to improve someone's life but what if it failed?
  370.
  371. Was he strong enough to fight off his fellow Knights should it come to that? Softly he spoke once more.
  372.
  373. "Don't worry Momo. I'll do all I can."
  374.
  375. With that he turned and started northwards. Back to the city of dreams, praying softly to Kraus it would not become nightmares.
  376. (Seneca)
  377. [21:17] Into the Suds did he trek across the olden wards and freshly decaying housing complexes. It was a sight to behold, such poverty. There had been an attempt to change things, made by the Late Mayor Claude vey Pelleaux. With his death the efforts for reform would have fallen to the wayside.
  378.
  379. Now it was covered once more in the plague, in the filth, the violence. Seneca's kindness made him slow at each begger. Offering coins to them, each in turn. Knowing that the metal was worthless to him but meant the world to them.
  380.
  381. It was finally as he settled in the square of Sudbury that he'd settle Momo within his lap. Holding them softly until the time they should awaken. His violet hues searching for the Exarchs he'd sent for to arrive.
  382.
  383. This would be the start of something better for Osrona. He knew it.
  384. (Seneca)
  385. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  386.
  387. [21:19] The child remained slumbering for now, the stress of the earlier interaction far, far too much for the child's mind. She sighed quietly, her monstrous features detracting from it- but in the end, she was still as he was.
  388.
  389. A child. Na・e, and defenseless at this time.
  390.
  391. She frowned in her sleep, but otherwise? She kept still.
  392. (Momo)
  393. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  394.
  395. [21:23] Mar﨎ol Altin says, "..."
  396. [21:24] Mar﨎ol glances to Seneca. And then to Momo.
  397. (Mar﨎ol Altin)
  398. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  399.
  400. [21:25] Seneca was holding Momo in there lap. She was alseep.
  401. (Seneca)
  402. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  403.
  404. [21:31] With the arrival of the Exarch's he'd called for Seneca's expression brightened noticeably. Finally, someone who'd be able to help where he was simply not capable. His lips curled into a wide smile, parting softly as he began to speak.
  405.
  406. "Exarch Marisol, Exarch Nerin, apologies but she's sleeping. How to start... This is Momo, she was a girl who survived the Verona Virus." As he spoke those violet hues glanced to Nerin before settling back upon Marisol.
  407.
  408. "Taken during the raid for the ship last year. While surviving she was cursed with this demonic taint. Living a life of fear due to the threats the demons lashed upon her."
  409.
  410. As he spoke his gaze flickered to the southwest. Directly towards the Demon's tower as it loomed so many miles away lie a blight upon the land.
  411.
  412. "She's also found herself bound to the Dark Lord, foul magics at work all around." He took a deep breath. "I spoke to her, listened and learned. She grew up here, in this district. So... I asked if she wanted to come home."
  413.
  414. His gaze flicked from the far away tower back to Marisol. "So, I've brought her home. In the hopes that was can figure out how she survived this plague that's killing the people. In the hopes we can untether her spirit from Helheim... And in the hope that she can be safe and return to her life here."
  415.
  416. A short pause before he added. "I have heard in the past that those who came willingly seeking aid for there curses... There natures to Osrona have been met with the blade. I need to know that won't happen with Momo."
  417. (Seneca)
  418. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  419.
  420. [21:40]
  421. The woman finds herself beginning to hum- if only briefly. Her hands would ease carefully behind her back as she listens to the explanation of Seneca...The woman shaking her head from left to right. "This one is interesting..." She says softly while looking down towards the sleeping child. "We found her in the forest once, playing with her friends. We tried to capture him...But it seems that she had decided to run away." She murmurs, pressing a single hand upon her cheek. "Perhaps, it was the rumors of us being knights. Or maybe, those in Moonfall had gotten to her head...Either way...It's lovely that she wished to return home on her own accord. Not many people even want to give that consideration when they're taken or 'leave'." she adds before beginning to turn, if only slightly.
  422.
  423. "It is not difficult to sever her ties to the Dark Lord. I believe that if she really wants to attain her soul again, she can meet with Erika and the rest of the church members...We'll collect the dust and we'll rid her of her occultic ties. As of now though, we're also currently studying the Cambion." The woman brings a hand to her lips.
  424.
  425. "I...Will not research her if she does not desire it. Plus, there are other subjects who are more than willing. However, every willing body is lovely." A shrug is given. A wave of the hand.
  426.
  427. "A strange rumor you've heard. Actually, we let people know that if they come willingly, their sentence and charges become lighter. And if they turn themselves in, then we work with them to fix with mistakes they might've made. If you're curious, no, we won't harm her. But, we will ask of her to get rid of her occult magic soon enough." The woman adds while nodding.
  428.
  429. "Tell others who might pester her that I've given you permission to look after her. However..." A pause. Her gaze trails down towards the child and Seneca.
  430.
  431. "I suggest that you be weary. Do not eat what she gives you...Do not wander somewhere that she might tell you to alone. A similar situation happened with an Exarch and he was found poisoned and killed in his own home." A shake of the head.
  432.
  433. "Don't let the same happen to yourself." She adds, before bowing slightly.
  434.
  435. "Is there anything else that you'd like to report or is this all?"
  436. (Mar﨎ol Altin)
  437. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  438.
  439. [21:55] "--What Marisol said."
  440.
  441. "You shall not take anything to eat from her, nor you should trust her with anything at all. No matter how warm you feel towards her - until she's confirmed to be no longer a witch, you should never, and I mean, ever trust her with things that could be suspicious."
  442.
  443. "Lest you end up just like Nemein - who was poisoned and then killed by the witch he tried to redeem. He believed in her, because she was nice to him."
  444.
  445. "Do not repeat his mistake."
  446.
  447. Even then.. there's a chance of redemption to all, no matter what has happened to them- but it doesn't mean that Nerin isn't so ever cautious about it.
  448.
  449. "She's also to be collared."
  450.
  451. "And the remote will be handed to one of the Exarchs. If she attempts to flee to Moonfall or find herself cooperating with those of the dark, we'll be able to intercept her and put an end to it."
  452.
  453. "I'll leave no chances to such backstab - even if we're giving her a chance at redemption."
  454.
  455. Which should be obvious, based on all the experiences Nerin had. But to digress..
  456.
  457. "Is that clear to you, Seneca?"
  458. (Nerin lux Altin)
  459. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  460.
  461. [22:00] Seneca's eye's widened, he was right this was the correct course. The words of those who'd taken arms against Osrona had been but twisted truth's to turn the people against the city.
  462.
  463. Though, when the words kept coming. Explaining the breaking of the dark pact of the purging of the occult. Even perhaps of understanding what a Cambion was? Well, it was all such good news.
  464.
  465. Of course he'd await patiently for Nerin's own take on these events. Listening to him quietly throughout his orders and his explanations. With a nod, the figure's ashen locks shifted slightly falling down over his shoulders.
  466.
  467. "I understand, I shall not speak of things which would compromise the safety of the people. I will not take food nor leave myself open to deception or manipulation from Momo. I shall seek out a collar and the remote will be turned over to an Exarch."
  468.
  469. As he spoke he'd offer a wistful smile to the duo. "Thank you both for clearing the rumors and fears I had in bringing her back. It proves those things to be the rhetoric of my foes upon the field."
  470. (Seneca)
  471. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  472.
  473. [22:01] The girl groaned a little bit, shivering and biting harshly at her lip. Opening her dull yellow eyes, they stared forward, and immediately? She tried to scramble away, off of Seneca's lap and away from the bench itself.
  474.
  475. "Y-you...!" She squeaked out, terrified suddenly. She'd seen them, they tried to bring her in, they even attacked her, well, attacked was putting it kindly...
  476. (Momo)
  477. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  478.
  479. [22:07] Seneca's grip was probably not to tight but it was also rather uncompromising in it's security. Keeping the youth steady and safe within his lap.
  480.
  481. After all they were panicking, what if they fell? Without a word he'd speak calmly. "Momo, it's alright. We're in Sudbury, verything's alright."
  482. (Seneca)
  483. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  484.
  485. [22:08] She finds herself beginning to nod briefly. "There's not much else that I need to say then...So long as we're clear on all of those fronts." she adds while beginning to turn briskly...Promptly waving towards the girl.
  486.
  487. "Save it." She adds, nodding slightly. "We're not here to...'Forcefully' take you in. You've decided to come home, so...There's no point in detaining you." A shake of the head. A sigh.
  488.
  489. "In any case, you two can have fun now. Farewell."
  490. (Mar﨎ol Altin)
  491. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  492.
  493. [22:10] * You have been awarded 1 Roleplay Points! *
  494. [22:12] Seneca says, "Farewell Exarchs."
  495. [22:12] Seneca says, "I shall, find a collar and remote."
  496. [22:13] It doesn't seem like Nerin is awfully amused by the act that Momo puts up. As much as she may look like a simple child.. in the end, he knows what witches are capable of.
  497.
  498. It was the same story with Sibylle.
  499.
  500. "Keep in mind the guidelines that were given to you, Seneca."
  501.
  502. "I do not wish to wake up one day to hearing that yet another Knight has fallen to such folly and found themselves poisoned and killed in their own home."
  503.
  504. Is it cruel to say such a thing? Perhaps.. but they're at war, and quite frankly, he didn't care - not after countless atrocities he's witnessed.
  505.
  506. "Good luck."
  507.
  508. And off he goes.
  509. (Nerin lux Altin)
