- I was helping my father buy fruit at the market when our eyes met for the first time. You were carrying out baskets of apples and berries to set out for sale while our fathers were talking about whatever old men talked about then. How mad he got when you tried to carry more than you could handle, all to impress me. It was all I could muster to stifle a giggle while helping you pick up everything.
- By happenstance, we met again at the Midsummer festival the next day. As if by magic or magnetism, we unknowingly found each other among the crowds in the village square. We talked for what seemed like hours, making our way through the villagers and merchants and children running either from or into trouble. I would blush when your hand idly brushed past mine. You would stumble over your words like a drunkard whenever our eyes met. Indeed, we were getting drunk off of each others' company.
- We teased each other like children when we reached the fields outside of the town. Oh, that mischievous grin you gave me when I stole your silly hat! You chased me all the way to the oak tree upon the hill, pinning me against it. Breaths short from laughing so hard soon became still when we realized how close together we were. Our noses but a whisper apart, our lips achingly close. My first breath was ragged as I became lost in your deep brown eyes. Arms found their way around us, breaths became in sync, the whole world began to fade as our lips closed the distance.
- The first kiss was light and clumsy, you were nervous and inexperienced. I couldn't help but giggle in my mind as my hand found your cheek and I kissed you a little deeper. Leading you through the motions, our kisses became deeper, longer, full of fervor. Our bodies pressed into each other, clinging for dear life. In that moment in time, we needed each other, oh how I needed your touch. Your kiss. Your taste on my tongue. Your touch on my skin...
- Here we are, baby, where we first fell in love. It looks like there's a storm coming. Come here, let's fall in love all over again...
