October 23, 2026 Update

It's been a while since I've done an update, so I might as well do one after many months.

On September 29, I passed my sixth and final exam and currently have a total score of 8.83/10 with a chance to even have a 9 average provided my Master's Thesis goes well. Lately, however, I had been recovering from a sickness which happened last Saturday, so it kinda delayed my plans and also lowered my motivation for streaming.

As far as speedrunning goes, I have officially decided to put 2.5 on a temporary hiatus. This is more so because I will start to have less free time available, partly due to me having to graduate and looking for a [better] job, and because it's not fun when you have a console that prevents you from being competitive (for reference, my PS3 is a Slim model, which loses about 10 or so minutes to a Super Slim just to loads alone). And as a result, I have decided to shift my focus on Kingdom Hearts 1.5, of which I am starting a playthrough of the game to get properly introduced to its mechanics and wanting to explore Kingdom Hearts speedrunning further. Given it's roughly an hour and a half shorter compared to 2.5 in terms of an average run, it gives me more time to reset as well once I run into the area where I may have to start resetting for better-paced runs.

Forbidden Memories will also continue - I have not mentioned any break or retirement, but haven't been in the healthy or proper mindset for runs. Should any race pop up, I will join. I still plan to do more runs and end once I get sub 3:30, which can happen anywhere between this year or never.

But as for now, I am taking the last few months of 2026 easy and am ready to enter 2027 with a more proper mindset. Thanks for reading!
