  1. How to share a USB connection. This is useful if you are unable to install the proper drivers for your device. You will need to follow the directions below to share you connection. You will also need someone to share your USB connection with.. someone to help you(helper). Helpers already have drivers installed on their own machines and can easily run adb/fastboot commands in their own terminal as if the device was right there.

  20. It may be easier to just disable the firewall on your OS and then connect directly to the modem via ethernet. This avoids port forward issues if using a router.
