How Google reCAPTCHA Algorythm works!!

  5. Today we have news and some observations regarding slow Recaptchas.

  7. We spent some time on data analysis and came to the following conclusions:

  9. Google measures several parameters at once and their service decides in real time how complex your current Recaptcha is. These parameters have different "weight" and include:
  10.  
  11. 1. Your browsing history. It has approximately 70% weight in Google's algorithm. Some of you had already got access to our "Pumping" tool which helps in improving your browsing history. Spend a little time on this every day and your Recaptcha speed will improve in a few weeks.
  12. 2. IP uniqueness : about 5% weight or less.
  13. 3. Browser's User Agent string: about 25%. This one is really important and it might be tricky to set them properly. Our new plugin version starting from 0.68 supports custom UA setting, as well as Windows version. Use it, however, with caution. Note that a set of "1 cookie history - 1 UA" means a different user for Google, and when there are hundreds of such new sets appear on single IP address in a short period of time - it is a signal for Google to complicate your captcha. Same happens for one "cookie" which changes many User Agents during a day. Make sure you clean your cookies at the same time you set new User Agent and don't make it too often.

  17. 1. Download our builds of two different browsers with built-in plugins and certificates, Komodo and Chromium.
  18. 1.1. Try switching them during your work. They have different signatures and Google may think that you're working from different computers.
  19. Google removed our plugin from their webstore and our versions of these browsers are not able to download KB plugin anymore. We're working on a solution. Meanwhile, you have to update plugins manually to keep them up-to-date and solve new types of captchas such as FunCaptcha.

  21. 1.2. Add --unsafe-pac-url option to Chrome or Komodo desktop shortcut. This will load Recaptchas faster! Show how.

  24. 2. If step #1 doesn't help:
  25. 2.1. Clear browser cache and cookies using plugin's "clear cache" button.
  26. 2.2. Disconnect and reconnect your internet connection to obtain new IP address from your provider.

  28. 3. If step #2 doesn't help:
  29. 3.1. Try registering new Google account at https://gmail.com/. Log into it using Chromium or Komodo.
  30. 3.2. Some workers report that having many Google accounts might help. They registered 30 accounts and use one account per day during a month, the next day another account. Thus those accounts where you previously solved lots of captchas gets unbanned after some period of time.
