Eriko reads Game of Thrones

[6:29pm] ShockwaveLover: Duncan drops heavily into a rec room chair, gear rattling as he meets the seat.
[6:29pm] ShockwaveLover: "What a day..."
[6:29pm] Alivi: Eriko looks up from her book. "What happened?"
[6:30pm] ShockwaveLover: "Huh? Oh, hey Eriko." He stretches. "Just a long day."
[6:31pm] Alivi: "Oh…" she goes back to reading, she makes a strange face and flips forward a couple of pages.
[6:31pm] ShockwaveLover: After a few minutes of silence: "Are you still reading Harry Potter?"
[6:31pm] Alivi: "Oh no I am taking break from it, I am reading a book called game of thrones."
[6:32pm] ShockwaveLover: "Game of Thrones...sounds familiar."
[6:32pm] Alivi: "There are many times I have to flip forward though… this book has weird parts..."
[6:32pm] ShockwaveLover: "Weird? How so?"
[6:32pm] ShockwaveLover: He lays down, looking over at her.
[6:32pm] Alivi: "Like……. "
[6:32pm] ShockwaveLover: "Ow."
[6:33pm] ShockwaveLover: Duncan rolls back over, and removes the pouch sticking into his back from the belt.
[6:34pm] ShockwaveLover: "Like...?"
[6:36pm] Alivi: She holds it up, "This is the second book but it has the same things…. like here, she flips to a page. "Shae kicked shut the door. Through the cloudy panes of the narrow window he could make out the Great Sept of Baelor crowning Visenya's Hill, but Tyrion was distracted by a different sight."
[6:37pm] ShockwaveLover: "Now I really want to know what Tyrion was distracted by."
[6:39pm] Alivi: "Bending Shae took her gown by the hem, drew it over her head, and tossed it aside. She did not believe in smallclothes. 'You'll never be able to rest,' she said as she stood before him, pink and nude and lovely, one hand braced on her hip."
[6:39pm] ShockwaveLover: "...Blimey."
[6:40pm] Alivi: "'You'll think of me everytime you go to bed. Then you'll-"
[6:41pm] ShockwaveLover: "Thank you, Eriko. I think that'll do."
[6:41pm] Alivi: Eriko stops and looks up. "Oh ok, this one isn't that bad in first book it was a brother and sister who were twins."
[6:41pm] ShockwaveLover: Duncan shakes his head, trying to get a nasty image out.
[6:42pm] ShockwaveLover: "Why the heck are /you/ of all people reading that?"
[6:43pm] Alivi: "Someone told me it was a good book, and it is. It is about all these families fighting for the throne of power… and there are many good characters. Tyrion is my faveorite he is funny and smart but I do not understand some of the things in this book."
[6:43pm] ShockwaveLover: "Hang on, Game of Thrones...wasn't that a TV series? How the hell did /that/ ever make it to air?"
[6:44pm] Alivi: "I think they have TV series yes and I hear they put more sex than the books have in it."
[6:44pm] ShockwaveLover: "Not that I'm complaining, but cripes..."
[6:44pm] ShockwaveLover: He shakes his head again. "So, what don't you understand about it?"
[6:45pm] Alivi: "Well the next quote is hard for me to understand…"
[6:46pm] ShockwaveLover: "I'm sure I'll regret asking, but...what is it?"
[6:48pm] Alivi: "'You'll think of me everytime you go to bed. Then you'll get hard and you'll have no to help you and you'll never be able to sleep unless you-' She grinned that wicked grin Tyrion liked so well, 'is /that/ why they call it the Tower of the Hand, m'lord?'" Eriko looks up at Duncan waiting for his explanation.

[6:49pm] ShockwaveLover: "They're selling this book? In bookshops?"
[6:49pm] ShockwaveLover: "I could go down to my local library and borrow it?"
[6:49pm] Alivi: "Yes."
[6:49pm] Alivi: "It is very popular right now."
[6:50pm] ShockwaveLover: "I'll bet it is."
[6:50pm] Alivi: "So what does it mean?"
[6:50pm] ShockwaveLover: "Every bored housewife and horny teenager in the world must be creaming themselves..."
[6:50pm] ShockwaveLover: He sighs. "She's talking about masturbation, Eriko."
[6:51pm] Alivi: "I do not think they would like it unless they also like high fantasy… and….oooooh….ok."

[6:51pm] Alivi: Eriko looks confused.
[6:52pm] ShockwaveLover: Duncan chuckles at her expression. "Slang for jerking off."
[6:52pm] Alivi: She is even more confused.
[6:52pm] ShockwaveLover: "Self-pleasure."

[6:53pm] ShockwaveLover: "Yeah. Bashing the old bishop."
[6:53pm] Alivi: Eriko gets out a little electronic thing, she types in a word and waits, "Ah….. ok."
[6:54pm] Alivi: "Very weird… but it is clever..."
[6:54pm] ShockwaveLover: "I assume it's a play on words."
[6:54pm] ShockwaveLover: "No doubt there's something called the Tower of the Hand in the book."
[6:54pm] ShockwaveLover: Duncan shakes his head. This is a surreal conversation.
[6:55pm] Alivi: "Oh there is! It is the place where the hand of the king stays last time it was Ned Stark… but now Tyrion is Hand."
[6:57pm] ShockwaveLover: "I'll bet the author felt proud of themselves for coming up with that one."
[6:57pm] Alivi: "Maybe."
[6:58pm] ShockwaveLover: "Heh, I would too."
[6:58pm] ShockwaveLover: "Tower of the Hand. Heh. Not bad at all, author. Not bad at all."
[6:59pm] Alivi: Eriko smiles, "Want to borrow the first book?"
[7:00pm] ShockwaveLover: "I've still got to finish the one Crom lent me. Maybe when I'm done with it, I will."
[7:00pm] Alivi: "Ok!" She smiles, "Then we can talk of the book together!"
[7:01pm] ShockwaveLover: Duncan winces. "Just as long as you don't read sections of it out loud."
[7:04pm] ShockwaveLover: "Who's it by, anyway?"

[7:09pm] ShockwaveLover: "I'll have to put him on my 'To Read' list."
[7:09pm] ShockwaveLover: The tall Aussie shifts, trying to find a more comfortable position. "So, what's the news?"
