  1. from /hhg/ - Hazbin Hotel General #332, #333, #334 and #336
  2. ---
  3. >Why is it that Vaggie isn't terribly popular?
  4. -
  5. >A whole bunch of fans, perhaps even the majority, are girls who want alastor's dick and self insert as charlie.
  6. >You can guess she ends up being the designated cuck or straight up ignored in most fan content.
  7. >It's a shame, really.
  8. -
  9. >Ive read many a fanfiction where people openly side with a insane, homicidal, manipulative serial killer over a girl with mild anger issues (whos already in a committed relationship.)
  10. >I now know why people like Ted Bundy could get away with doing the things he did
  11. -
  12. >don't remind of that... just. what the fuck is wrong with people?
  13. >this is why I hate alastor fans and alastor himself
  14. -
  15. >Honestly I would like to see whoever was the person who took him down
  16. >He needs a reminder that their are people out there who are smarter than him and more clever than he could ever be
  17. -
  18. >I'm guessing the character to tip him off would be the main villain.
  19. -
  20. >not really, I think viv said the main villain is the pure evil guy or something.
  21. >but if someone want to make a fanfic of that. go for it
  22. -
  23. >I think the main villains are the overlords who feel that the idea redemption is a threat to their control over the masses. Whether it’s people like Vox and Valentino who use and abuse everyone for their own gain, or Hell-born aristocrats such as the Eldritch family/Lucifer/Satan/whoever that don’t want to lose the status quo that Hell has maintained since the beginning of creation.
  24. >Maybe even throw in an extremist sect of angels who don’t want Heaven sullied by “supposedly” reformed sinners.
  25. -
  26. >I like this idea
  27. -
  28. >Extremist angels
  29. >Still wondering about Adina
  30. -
  31. >who?
  32. -
  33. >Character from early versions of the show. A high ranking angel of some sort. The only characterization of her we've got is a piece of concept art of her placidly torturing Angel Dust and ignoring his pleas for mercy. I'd post it but I'm at work so I don't have my hazbin folder
  34. -
  35. >she's pretty cute
  36. -
  37. >and evil
  38. -
  39. >Kind of a stretch, but the fact that her name is written in such creepy scratchy text when she's so serene and pretty makes me think she might be pretty horrible and villainous on the inside
  40. -
  41. >for the "greater good" as they say
  42. -
  43. >Adina is a Tau Ethereal: claiming she represents the will of Heaven and “the greater good”, but ultimately self-serving, something entirely against God’s word.
  44. ------
  45. >>30876437 (You)
  46.
  47. Found another piece of concept art with Adina (middle right). I think the bottom series of images seems to imply that Angel actually survived whatever she was doing to him in >>30876447 (You)
  48. -
  49. wow, thank anon.
  50.
  51. >imply that Angel actually survived whatever she was doing to him in >>30876447 (You)
  52.
  53. does that mean angel got save by someone?... if so, I wonder if viv is going to re-use this idea and show angel getting save by a mystery demon person or something we already knew.
  54. -
  55. >for the "Greater Good"
  56.
  57. Anon called it. She's one of THOSE types.
  58. --
  59. I want to know if Adina is going to be in hazbin or stay in zoophobia?... she was suppose to show up in the Demons & angels Arc in that comic.
  60. --
  61. I think that since she, like the rest of the cast of characters, was originally created specifically for the story arc that got reworked in Hazbin Hotel, she's a lot more likely to appear in HH than in the new Zoophobia. I imagine she'll get some sort of redesign, possibly pretty drastic, given what the exterminators look like now compared to what they originally were.
  62. -
  63. >>for the "Greater Good"
  64. >Anon called it. She's one of THOSE types.
  65.
  66. SEE! I WAS RIGHT!!!
  67.
  68. >I think that since she, like the rest of the cast of characters, was originally created specifically for the story arc that got reworked in Hazbin Hotel, she's a lot more likely to appear in HH than in the new Zoophobia. 69.
  70. ...wait... does that mean at some point, charlie is going to fight her?.
  71.
  72. l'm not going to be ready for that
  73. -
  74. Possibly. She makes sense as Charlie's nemesis.
  75.
  76. >Charlie is passionate, with strongly felt emotions and desires.
  77. >Charlie is forgiving and eager to offer a second chance
  78.
  79. >Adina is calm and indifferent. Always just wearing that Mona Lisa smile no matter what she does
  80. >Adina is highly judgemental and unforgiving, perfectly content to let the "damned" and "unclean" suffer as much as possible
  81.
  82. She works as an "Anti-Charlie" just as much as Solagne.
  83.
  84. Unrelated: she seems to have a sidekick or something in the form of an Alastor recolor
  85. -
  86. >Unrelated: she seems to have a sidekick or something in the form of an Alastor recolor
  87.
  88. i already have the feeling that her sidekick is going to betrayed or let her die or stop working for her.
  89.
  90. also that sidekick can be the first Angel that will support her and want the happy hotel to be a real thing in hell.
  91. ----
  92. Well talking about Adina led me to try to force myself to read through Zoophobia again. Still don't like it that much but I got further than I did last time (though as before, I barely know what's going on) and I found this guy right here. His attitude seems to be in line with Adina's except a lot more gleeful than serene.
  93. -
  94. maybe he is a follower of her?
  95. -
  96. I don't know how much further I can get into this especially how late it is but I'm assuming the character is meant to be a broad representation of the universe's version of the church. Smug, holier-than-thou and generally insufferable.
  97. -
  98. >I don't know how much further I can get into this especially how late it is but I'm assuming the character is meant to be a broad representation of the universe's version of the church. Smug, holier-than-thou and generally insufferable.
  99.
  100. I can see that
  101. -
  102. >Still don't like it that much
  103.
  104. Just remembered I did find one detail that I liked. Pic related.
  105.
  106. At least the creator knows that the inverted cross is NOT a "real" satanic symbol. If the Hazbin writers can find some way to finagle a legitimate-sounding in-universe reason for demons to have the Cross of Saint Peter plastered all over the place I'll buy them a round.
  107. ------------
  108. Wonder what Satans gonna look like (since he's apparently a separate entity in hazbin)
  109. -
  110. >Wonder what Satans gonna look like (since he's apparently a separate entity in hazbin)
  111.
  112. wait what.. really?. this is my first time hearing about this
  113. -
  114. Well I forced myself to "finish" zoophobia and this character here is referred to mainly just as "The Devil" but I think he gets addressed by name specifically as "Satan" not Lucifer, a few times. The design might get reworked the way much of the rest of the cast did and utilized for the show.
  115. -
  116. huh.... well if it does happen, it's going to be interesting to see in the show
  117. -
  118. Also, like the demons in Hazbin...
  119. -
  120. ...he shapeshifts when he gets emotionally worked up. So it seems they've had that idea in mind for quite some time.
  121. -
  122. Besides that this creature design could show up as part Hell's wildlife I suppose.
  123.
  124. I also notice that even back then they were using the eye with the vertically slitted pupil pretty heavily in Hell's general design.
  125. -
  126. that is something
  127. -
  128. I think it would be suitably threatening for a high level predator in the wasteland areas of Hell. The area little doggie dude in the corner was wandering around in when he met it was kind of wastelandy-looking anyway
  129. -
  130. I bet someone in the wasteland try to make those things into pets
  131. -
  132. Be a badass mount. Sandworm riding in Dune-style.
