Misato: You think we didn’t spend enough time planning, then?

「…いや、決定的な原因は俺にある」
Sousuke: ...No, the flaw lies with me.

「葛城二佐、今回の作戦の失敗は
自分が馬鹿な選択をしたためであります」
Sousuke: The previous mission was a failure because of a foolish decision made by me, Lieutenant Colonel Katsuragi.

Dido: ...You mean the choice between Captain Testarossa and Kaname Chidori.

「確かに、あの行動はセオリー通りではなかった。
だけど、それだけが原因とは言い切れないでしょ?」
Misato: True, you didn’t exactly follow standard procedure. But that wasn’t the only reason, was it?

今回ばかりはソースケが馬鹿だ」
Kurz: I don’t mean to butt in, but I agree with Sousuke. What he did last time was stupid.

Sousuke: ...I can’t say I like hearing that from you of all people. If it were you, who would you have chosen first?

「そうだな…多分、好きな子を先にしたな。

「よし、本艦はこれより東京湾へ向かう」
Bright: Right then, our ship will make for Tokyo Bay.

「ブライト大佐、我々がペルシダーモードで
援護しましょうか?」
Shima: Should we provide support in Pellucidar Mode, Captain Bright?

「いや、救出にどれだけの時間が掛かるかわからん。
そちらは本艦の近くで待機してくれ」
Bright: No, not when we can’t be sure how long it will take for the rescue operation. I’d like you to remain on standby near the Ra Cailum.

「いけませんよ、カリーニンさん」
Tessa: Don’t tell them anything, Kalinin!

「それは私が判断することだ、テスタロッサ君。
いつから君は、この私に命令をするように
なったんだね?」
Kalinin: I think that will be something for me to decide, Testarossa. I’d very much like to know when it was that you started giving me orders.

「撃つぞ。
[ラムダ・ドライバ]のことをどこまで知ってる?
対抗手段は?」
Terrorist: I’ll shoot her. Now what do you know about the [Lambda Driver]? And its countermeasures?

「…わかった、話す。もっと近くに来い。
ラムダ・ドライバの情報は極秘事項だ。
部下といえども聞かせるわけにはいかん」
Kalinin: ...Fine. I’ll tell you. Come over here. Any information about the Lambda Driver is top secret. I can’t disclose it, even to my subordinate.

(The terrorist moves closer to Kalinin.)

「ラムダ・ドライバは我々が…」
Kalinin: What we know of the Lambda Driver is...

「ああん? もっとデカい声で…」
Terrorist: Hm? Talk a little louder...

「ああっ!」
Kaname: AAH!

Terrorist: What?

(Kalinin grabs the terrorist’s gun when he’s distracted.)

「!!」
Terrorist: !!

(Kalinin guns down the three terrorists.)

「ぐあっ!?」
Terrorist: Gwah!?

(The terrorists hit the floor, dead.)

「え、映画じゃあるまいし…
あっという間に3人も…」
Kaname: I-It’s not like in the movies... 3 people in the blink of an eye...

「チドリ・カナメ君」
Kalinin: Kaname Chidori.

かなめ
「は、はい!」
Kaname: Y-Yes, sir!

カリーニン
「とっさにこいつらの気を逸らしてもらって助かった。
礼を言う」
Kalinin: Thank you diverting their attention for a moment.

「あ、いえ、カリーニンさんの佇まいが
あいつに似てたから…多分、ああすれば
何とかしてくれるんじゃないかなって…」
Kaname: Oh, no, you just had the same feel as that other guy... I just thought you might take advantage of the opportunity...

「あいつとは、サガラ軍曹のことかね?」
Kalinin: You are referring to Sergeant Sagara?

「え、ええ」
Kaname: Y-Yeah.

「ほう…いい観察力と判断だ」
Kalinin: Well... I’d say you have a keen eye then, and good judgment as well.

「カナメさんには助けられてばかりですね」
Tessa: Kaname’s helped quite a lot lately.

カリーニン
「先程は失礼しました、大佐殿。
立場を弁えぬ発言を」
Kalinin: Please forgive me for earlier, Captain. It is not my position to speak to you like that.

テッサ
「いえ、事情は承知していますから。
それよりも、行きましょう」
Tessa: It’s fine, the situation warranted it. Now, let’s get out of here.

カリーニン
「はい。貨物室へ」
Kalinin: Yes, ma’am. We’ll proceed to the cargo bay.

かなめ
「えっ? 逃げるんじゃないの?」
Kaname: Huh? We aren’t going to escape?

テッサ
「先程、大型のガス・タービン・エンジンの音が
聞こえました。[AS]用にしても規模が大き過ぎる…」
Tessa: A while ago, I heard what sounded like a large gas-turbine engine. Something that would be much too large for a normal [AS]...

カリーニン
「つまり、この船にはとてつもなく強力な兵器が
積んであるかも知れないということだ」
Kalinin: Which means this ship may be housing an incredibly powerful weapon on board.

テッサ
「カナメさん、申し訳ありませんが
しばらく付き合っていただけますか?」
Tessa: I’m sorry, Kaname, but could you accompany us for a while longer?

かなめ
「あ…うん、いいけど」
Kaname: Oh... Yeah, sure I guess.


(Scene changes to a hanger.)


かなめ
「な、何、これ…?
これって、あたし達の世界のロボットでしょ?
こんなサイズは…」
Kaname: Wh-What is that thing...? This IS a robot from our world, right? But it’s so huge...

テッサ
「ナンセンスだわ。こんな物が動き出したら、
手の付けようがありません。
大勢の人が死んでしまいます…!」
Tessa: It’s absurd. If something like this started moving, we couldn’t do anything about it. So many people would die...!

タクマ
「僕の玩具だよ。
いいだろう?ベヘモスっていうんだ」
Takuma: It’s my toy. Isn’t it nice? I like to call it Behemoth.

(Takuma, Seina, and several armed terrorists approach.)

テッサ
「!?」
Tessa: !?

セイナ
「銃声が聞こえた時、ピンと来たわ。
あなた達は必ずここへ現れるって」
Seina: You know when I heard the gun go off, I was positive you’d find your way here.

カリーニン
「一応、褒め言葉と受け取っておこう」
Kalinin: I guess I’ll take that as a compliment.

テッサ
「あなた達はまともじゃありません。
地球とプラントが戦争している中で、
こんな物を動かすなんて…!」
Tessa: What you people are doing is insane. The Earth and [PLANTs] are at war, and you want to use something like this...!?

タクマ
「僕達はテロリストだからさ、テスタロッサさん。
僕個人としては、別にこれを使って
何かを得たいわけじゃないんだ」
Takuma: You realize we’re terrorists, Miss Testarossa. I don’t expect to get anything out of this.

タクマ
「ただの表現。ただの主張。その程度の物さ。
一年も経ったら、多分ほとんどの人は
これのことも忘れてしまうと思う」
Takuma: It’s really just a form of expression. I’m just expressing my opinion. Well, something like that. In a year from now, most people will have already forgotten all about it.

Kalinin: Like they forgot Seiji Takechi?

タクマ
「…そうだよ。でもね、先のことはどうでもいいんだ。
僕は選ばれた戦士なんだ。僕がこのベヘモスに乗れば、
これは無敵になる」
Takuma: ...That’s right. However, I don’t really care what happens after this. I’m one of the few chosen soldiers. Once I take my seat inside Behemoth, I’ll be invincible.

タクマ
「たくさん壊して、たくさん殺すんだ。
そうすれば姉さんも喜ぶし、僕も満足なんだ。
それだけでいいんだ」
Takuma: I’ll destroy a lot of things and kill a lot of people. Then my sister will be happy, and I’ll be satisfied. That’s enough for me.

Takuma: Unfortunately, none of you will get to see Behemoth’s brave, gallant figure in action. This is where we say goodbye.

(The terrorists aim their guns.)

(An explosion shakes the screen.)

「な、何だ!?」
Terrorist:

(Guy comes out of nowhere and decks a terrorist.)

「お前達の思うようにはさせないぞ!」
Guy: You won’t have your way if I have anything to say about it!

「凱さん!?」
Kaname: Guy!?

「助けに来たぞ!
あいつの相手は俺に任せてくれ!」
Guy: I’m here to save you! Leave these guys to me!

テロリスト
「ええい、やっちまえ!!」
Terrorist: Agh, come on then!!

(Akito is running at another terrorist.)

テロリスト
「速い! 何だ、あいつは!」
Terrorist: So fast! What the hell is this guy!?

アキト
「………」
Akito: ...

(Akito strikes the terrorist.)

テロリスト
「な…!? 貴様!?」
Terrorist: Wha—!? Son of a...!

(The terrorist drops to the floor.)

カリーニン
「大佐殿、カナメ君! 今の内に!」
Kalinin: Captain, Kaname! Now’s your chance!

テッサ
「はい!
逃げますよ、カナメさん!」
Tessa: Yes! Let’s get out of here, Kaname!

(Kaname and Chidori leave.)

カリーニン
「さて…こちらも注意を引き付けんとな」
Kalinin: Now then... I believe I’ll help keep them distracted.


(Scene changes to a corridor.)


クルツ
「いたぞ! カナメちゃんとテッサだ!」
Kurz: There they are! It’s Kaname and Tessa!

かなめ
「ソースケ!」
Kaname: Sousuke!

テッサ
「サガラ軍曹!」
Tessa: Sergeant Sagara!

宗介
「千鳥…」
Sousuke: Chidori...

かなめ
「心配したんだから!」
Kaname: I was so worried about you!

宗介
「…すまん」
Sousuke: ...Sorry.

かなめ
「怖かったんだから!」
Kaname: I was really scared too!

宗介
「それもすまん」
Sousuke: I’m very sorry.

「…馬鹿!」
Kaname: ...Idiot!

Tessa: ...

「お、俺には何もないの…?」
Kurz: Y-You know I’m here too, right...?

「急ぎましょう、大佐殿。
この船はもうすぐ沈みます」
Sousuke: Let’s hurry, Captain. This ship won’t last much longer.

「ブライト大佐達が協力してくれているのですね?」
Tessa: Captain Bright and the others are working with you, aren’t they?

宗介
「はい。少佐は?」
Sousuke: Yes. And the Lieutenant Commander?

テッサ
「私達を逃がすために、囮になってくれました」
Tessa: He’s acting as a decoy so that we can escape.

宗介
「…少佐なら殺しても死なないでしょう。
行きましょう、大佐殿」
Sousuke: ...I’m positive the Lieutenant Commander won’t even come close to dying here. Let’s go, Captain.


(Scene changes back to the hanger.)


セイナ
「早くベヘモスに搭乗しなさい。
あいつらがいなくなった今がチャンスなのよ」
Seina: Hurry and get inside the Behemoth. Now that those guys aren’t here, this is our chance.

タクマ
「姉さん、さっきの銃撃で怪我しちゃったんだ」
Takuma: But sister, I was injured in the shootout earlier...

セイナ
「その程度の傷で泣き言言わないで!」
Seina: Don’t cry over such a tiny wound!

タクマ
「でも、痛いんだ!」
Takuma: But, it hurts!

セイナ
「これを動かさないで
あなたにどんな価値があるっていうの?
ここで逃げ出すなら……」
Seina: If you don’t move this thing now, then what good are you to me? If you’re going to run away now...

「あなたなんか…いらないわ」
Seina: ...Then I don’t need you.

Takuma: ...!

「いい? タクマ、あなたは…」
Seina: Got it? Takuma, you—

(Seina is shot at.)

Seina: Ugh!?

(Kalinin approaches.)

「そこまでだ。
君をそれに乗せるわけにはいかない。
ゆっくりとそこから降りて来い」
Kalinin: That’s far enough. You won’t be piloting that. Now come down here, slowly.

セイナ
「邪魔をしないで!」
Seina: Don’t interfere!

(Seina aims her gun at Kalinin.)

セイナ
「…あなたを撃ちたくないの」
Seina: ...I don’t want to shoot you.

カリーニン
「では、遠慮してくれ」
Kalinin: Don’t hold back on my account.

(Kalinin shoots Seina.)

セイナ
「うっ!」
Seina: Ngh!

タクマ
「姉さん!」
Takuma: Sister!

セイナ
「行きなさい…早く…!」
Seina: Go... Hurry!

タクマ
「…姉さん、わかったよ…。
さよなら」
Takuma: ...Alright, sister... Goodbye.

(Takuma boards the Behemoth.)

Seina: ...

(Seina falls down.)

「止められなかったか…」
Kalinin: I couldn’t stop them...

(Heero and Dido approach.)

Heero: Rescue target identified.

ディド
「動けるか?」
Dido: Can you move?

カリーニン
「君達は…」
Kalinin: You two are...

「ロンド・ベルの協力者だ。
応急キットを渡す。自分で手当て出来るな?」
Heero: Working with Londo Bell. I’ll get you a first-aid kit. I trust you can patch yourself up?

カリーニン
「ああ…ありがとう」
Kalinin: Yes... Thank you.

「ディド、手伝え。
そこに倒れている女を運ぶ。
まだ息がある」
Heero: Give me a hand, Dido. Carry the woman. She’s still breathing.

カリーニン
「彼女を…助けるつもりかね?
彼女はA21…敵の女だぞ」
Kalinin: You...would save her as well? That woman is part of A21... She’s the enemy.

Heero: I will save a life that can be saved. It’s only natural.

(Scene begins on the map screen of Aomi Pier. Mao is on the map in her mech.)

「A21の船が沈む…」
Mao: A21’s ship is sunk...

(Sousuke’s group is across the street from the pier.)

宗介
「マオ、聞こえるか?」
Sousuke: Mao, do you read me?

マオ
「ソースケ、どこにいるの?
他のみんなは?」
Mao: Sousuke, where are you? And what about the others?

宗介
「二手に分かれたが、全員無事だ。
こっちにはクルツと千鳥、大佐殿がいる。
移動手段は確保した」
Sousuke: All members are unharmed and have split into two groups. Kurz, Chidori, and the Captain are with me. We’re securing a means of transportation.

(Guy’s group is off the map.)

「残りのメンバーは全員こっちだ!
あと、怪我人がいる」
Guy: All the other members are here with me! Also, we have an injured person with us.

マオ
「良かった。すぐにラー・カイラムが来るから…」
Mao: Glad you’re safe. The Ra Cailum should be here soon and—

(Takuma appears in his Behemoth.)

「えっ? 何!?」
Mao: Huh? What the...!?

「姉さん…これで喜んでくれるよね…?」
Takuma: This will make you happy... Right, sister...?

(The Ra Cailum and the Oceanus appear.)

Sousuke: It’s the Ra Cailum and the Oceanus...!

救出部隊の収容を急がせろ!」
Bright: All units, launch! Get the rescue team inside, quick!

(Inaho and the player’s team deploy.)

「ラー・カイラム! ウルズ7!
アーバレストの射出許可を!」
Sousuke: Ra Cailum! This is Uruz 7! Permission to launch the Arbalest!

「トーレス、
TLSを受信次第、アーバレストを出せ」
Bright: Torres, send out the Arbalest as soon as we receive the TLS.

Torres: Roger!

「射出中のアーバレストは無防備になる。
その間、敵機の目を引く必要がある。
適任者は…」
Bright: The Arbalest will be defenseless while its being launched. Someone needs to draw the enemy machine’s attention during the meantime. And the best person for that is...

(Takuma fires on Inaho.)

Sousuke: (Alright, now’s my chance...!)

(Sousuke appears on the map in the Arbalest.)

Takuma: What the...!?

「クルツ! 大佐殿と千鳥を安全な場所に!」
Sousuke: Kurz! Take the Captain and Chidori somewhere safe!

「任せろ!」
Kurz: You got it!

Kaname: We’re counting on you, Kurz!

(Takuma fires at Kurz and the others.)

Sousuke: Captain!?

こっちのことは気にせず、お前は戦え!」
Kurz: She’s just unconscious! Don’t worry about us, you keep up the fight!

「例えば、加工できない映像だ」

イージスごと行方不明になったんだよな」

「俺達全員で遭難でもしてみろ。
クルーゼ隊長も笑い者だぞ」
