  7. The Lions finally make the superbowl (this is my story let me dream) so the Loud family excitedly flew to watch it live, leaving behind the three members least interested. Leni, Lisa, and Lincoln. Leni was babysitting Lisa and Lincoln on a spiritual level, but the two were more than capable of caring for themselves. Trough some cosmic coincidence the cable was out just as the three were alone, of coarse the TV was out when the majority of the competition was gone. Lincoln and Lisa started talking about alternative entertainment, mainly books and comics they like.
  8. "Issac Asimov is by far the best science fiction writers ever Lisa! I got almost all his major books." Lincoln bragged.
  9. Lisa, being only five and inexperienced, was skeptical. "Please, even better than the likes of Frank Herbert and Jules Verne? Unlikely."
  10. Lincoln smirked. "So you've never read Asimov huh? alright, my baby sister, I'll show you." He quiclly ran upstairs to get Lisa the Foundation and Robot collections. Lisa looked over at a confused looking Leni.
  11. "So, what books do you like?"
  12. Leni, feeling dumb, just made something up. "Ohh, you know, those books with the robots and all that."
  13. Lincoln overheard and decided to get Leni some comics to that effect. He gifted Lisa the books and Leni the comics.
  14. "Here, you guys can have these, because I love you." He smiled always happy to share his fixations with his family, Leni was bored without the TV and the family would be pissed if she just bailed on the kids. So she stayed downstairs and actually read the comics while Lisa and Lincoln discussed I, Robot. The comics were really graphic, about a genocide of humans by an army of robots from a factory in Detroit. Leni was always bad with horror, and this far exceeded what she wanted to deal with. Around eleven Leni got excited.
  15. "Okay kids time for bed! Move along."
  16. She tucked Lisa in and let Lincoln sort himself out. She flipped the lights in her room and saw robots everywhere.
  17. lori's computer looked like a robot head, her stack of fashion magazines looked like some kind of robot, even her vibrator looked like a blunt robot arm that could smash her. She shut her eyes tight and just thought about stuff that made her happy but it all went back to the robots. She went to sleep, hoping that would bring her bliss, only to find herself stuck in her house as it was besieged by, obviously, robots. She woke up the next morning in a bad state. As she made breakfast Lisa went into the kitchen to talk her ear off about the Asimov stories she read the night before. Luckily halfway through scrambling the eggs Lisa's topic came to comfort her by lucky accident.
  18. "...and robots have three main laws they have to live by!"
  19. This peaked Leni's interest. "Really now? Tell me more."
  20. Lisa tried to remember. "Well law one is that Robots can't harm people, second robots have to do what humans say unless it hurts people, and third robots can't damage themselves unless damaging themselves conflicts with the previous two laws."
  21. Leni nodded her heads. "You think those robots in those car plants follow those rules?"
  22. Lisa looked confused. "They wouldn't have to that aren't sentient." Lisa realized she used a polysyllabic word to Leni. "By which I mean real robots can't think."
  23. Leni sighed so heavily she felt lightheaded and fell asleep at the table to make up for the lost sleep her fear caused her. Lisa raised a brow and looked at the burning eggs.
  24. "Why is it that your advanced chronological experience elevated you above me in this family?"
  25. Lisa took the pan off the stove and left Leni to sleep, she wanted ice cream for breakfast anyway.
