  7. -------------
  8. 1. GENERAL INFORMATION:
  9. - Before purchasing a hero with crowns, go into practice to try them out because you may regret the purchase and the F2P crown grind is rough. You have options for buying with money, which include:
  10. -30$ for the ultimate pack to get all heroes for life.
  11. -$10 for the starter pack, which gives you access to 8 other heroes.
  12. -Buying a single character with rubies.
  13. --Be sure to train a bit in practice mode or bot matches as a new character, especially if it's Tyto the Swift because you have to know proper stamina management and understand Tyto's movement options to do well.
  14.
  15. - If you want to know about any of the status or elemental effects, you can refer to here:

  17.
  18. - The console can be opened by pressing the ~ key. You can use console commands to start a solo match in order to explore or test out characters on a map.
  19. Command:
  20. open <map name>.
  21. Ghost Reef - lv_canyon
  22. Sanctum Falls - lv_mistforge
  23. Siren's Strand - lv_valley
  24. Practice Range - lv_grassland
  25.
  26. -------------
  27. 2. CREATURES:
  28. - All points generate power over time toward becoming a power orb, The point's power is indicated by the yellow ring around the point's icon. Once the ring is full, the power must be collected.
  29.
  30. - Creatures have unique abilities and can be summoned on a point to collect its power orb automatically. If there is no creature at all on a point, a player must manually collect its power orb, which requires them to stand there and channel for a few seconds.
  31. - There are two levels of creature - Baby, summoned by using one of your limited creature uses, and Adult, which are baby creatures upgraded using focus. Killing a baby creature or an enemy player grants 10 power toward the rampage of its killer's team. Adult creature kills grant 20 power.
  32.
  33. - You can spawn any creature you wish on friendly (green) and neutral (grey) points, but only obelisk on unsafe (red) points.
  34. --DO NOT summon creatures on points you feel like you can't defend. You'll end up giving the enemy easy power, leading to them snowballing.
  35.
  36. -Creatures can only be summoned a limited number of times per match. You can look at the creature loadout menu or at the small number in the creature summon popup in-game to see how many uses one has.
  37.
  38. - A player can interrupt a creature's collection of a power orb by using some form of crowd control (stun, knockback, daze, etc) on it and then draw its aggro to keep it focused on attacking you over collecting.
  39. --This is a great tactic to use when you see that the next power orb collection will lead to a rampage for both teams, as your team will collect first if it's not being contested.
  40.
  41. - The Obelisk is a good creature to purchase, as it's currently the only one that can be spawned on red points. It does not collect power orbs for your team, but placing it on a point can deny the enemy power as well. Killing an Obelisk does not grant power, but does give experience.
  42.
  43. -------------
  44. 3. RAMPAGE:
  45. - Whichever team reaches 100 power first has their guardian proceed to rampage, with a 20-second period of boosted speed for the attackers while the guardian rushes to pin their rival.
  46. --The damage that the attacking guardian will do on impact is indicated by blinking health on the rival guardian's life bar.
  47. --If the heart icon is blinking as well, then the impact will AUTO-WOUND, meaning that you DO NOT have to rush to the guardian and can attack/defend another objective.
  48. --The final heart CANNOT be auto-wounded, so you must attack to win the match.
  49.
  50. - Once the guardian reaches its rival, it pins them to the ground for the attackers to strike their heart.
  51. --The attackers must reduce all of the rival's health to WOUND it, removing one of three hearts.
  52. --Killing an enemy while attacking during rampage increases the time that the rival guardian is pinned.
  53. --Killing an enemy while on defense gives your guardian a small health shield, which can also save it from an auto-wound if they're killed before the impact.
  54.
  55. - One tactic is to get a creature low during rampage and then kill it when the rampage ends so that you get power toward your next rampage.
  56.
  57. -------------
  58. 4. CLASH:
  59. - The Clash (aka Final Clash) occurs after 2 wounds on a single guardian or 5 rampages.
  60. --During Clash, the map changes drastically and some points are relocated, but if you have a creature on said point, it will move as well.
  61.
  62. --The single "during Clash" upgrade that you can select (by clicking on the box where your level number is) takes effect during this time.
  63. --Since Clash takes time to occur, this upgrade can be saved for later in the game.
  64.
  65. - The amount of rampages leading up to the Clash is indicated by dots on the top-center of the screen before the final clash begins. These dots change to text that says "CLASH" once it occurs.
  66.
  67. -------------
  68. 5. GAMEPLAY TIPS:
  69. - Keep an eye on the mini-map and help allies/creatures who are in trouble (don't suicide rush into 2v5s or anything but just try to help)
  70. --You can ping at where you're aiming by tapping C or middle-mouse. You can do specific pings (such as withdraw or on my way) by holding down the key and selecting the choice.
  71. --You can ping specific spots on the map while in the upgrade menu by clicking the location on the map.
  72. --There are quick-chat commands that can be used by pressing 1-4 to open the command menus. If you can't open the quick-chat, then quickly open and close the upgrade menu to fix this issue.
  73. --You can use regular text chat by pressing ENTER.
  74.
  75. - DO NOT not spam jump when you're being chased or are in combat. Jumping eats your stamina and it won't regenerate while hopping around. Just wait or walk until a bit of stamina comes back and then proceed to run away.
  76.
  77. - As any melee hero, you can perform a lunge attack by jumping and left-clicking. Use this on an enemy from behind to slow and cripple them (prevents jumping for a short time). The lunge is also useful for escaping after jumping off of a slope, for closing the distance with enemies, or as a finisher move.
  78. --Melee characters can also perform a dash-attack off of any of their dashes. The type of attack is dependent on the character.
  79.
  80. - Your reticle will turn red when you're aiming at an invisible enemy like Tripp, Voden, Ramsay, or Imani. Keep that in mind when you're chasing a kill. Most status effects do damage over time, which shows damage numbers on invisible enemies as well.
  81.
  82. - You can use your dodge to cancel something that has to be charged or targeted (like Charnok's fireball, Pakko's snowball, and targeted AoE skills).
  83. --dodging costs stamina, but it is possible to do a very weak dodge without stamina that can still be used to cancel things.
  84.
  85. - As Wu, it is possible to jump off of the edge of the level, tongue-pull an enemy off the ledge for a kill, and then use his Splash Kick to jump back to safety.
