- ###Elick vs Verlux
- #####OOTs
- Nanashi isn't OOT. I don't think he's arrow timing and Lara has generally better travel speed which allows for her ranged abilities to constitute a significant advantage.
- Arthrogate isn't OOT. Lara is able to win in at least some instances with her ambush predator characterization such that Arthogate doesn't dominate in a fight with her.
- #####Conner vs Nanashi
- Verlux wins. I think Nanashi incaps Conner the majority of the time via windpipe destruction or whatever without killing him with his superior skill and speed. I don't consider Elick's arguments about Conner having a super low durability in response 2 into account given that Elick doesn't refute the notion that Nanashi's windpipe destruction would incap Conner in response 1, which means the points about Conner's durability are new arguments that Verlux did not have a chance to respond to as opposed to an extrapolation of a point from response 1 that Verlux could respond to.
- #####Max vs Roland
- Elick wins. I think Max makes it to the weapons spawn as fast if not faster compared to Roland and wins by using a gun on Roland, and even if I didn't acknowledge that I think that Max is advantaged in close quarters combat compared to Roland. I think the only way Roland can access a win is if Verlux wins that Roland reaches the weapons spawn before Max. There are a couple reasons why I didn't buy that.
- * Max's base running speed of ~6m/s is generally well above the capabilities of a normal human that I think that it can compensate for any issues with Max's endurance. I do agree with Verlux that the concept of Max's endurance isn't consistent/game mechanic-ish, but I think the main issue is that Verlux and Elick failed to weigh Roland's endurance advantage vs Max's speed advantage in any way which means that as judge I have to decide which one is more determinative of reaching the weapons spawn first, and in my opinion overall speed is more useful given the magnitude of it.
- * I do evaluate Max's feats outside the RT, mainly because Verlux fails to demonstrate why the feats are transformative to the tier setter match (At a gut level, I don't know why Max running at 6m/s is relevant when Lara runs at speeds twice as fast as that) . Now if Max's feats approached the tier setter speed I might be concerned (Elick, just include a private post that includes the supplementary feats in your sign ups for future tournies) but as it stands I don't see a strong enough reason to strike Elick's extra feats.
- #####MT vs Arthogate
- Verlux wins mainly because MT lacks a win con outside of Arthogate being considered OOT.
- Verlux wins 2-1
