Did you run a similar playbook against Shannon O'Brien (with the help of Justin Shrader, Nurys, Ava, Grace, Cedric and other unnamed persons) because O'Brien uncovered these, and other, conflicts of interest within the agency (including a plan, by you, to make Cedric Sinclair the agency's next Executive Director by way of promoting Sinclair to "deputy ED", taking your leave of absence, and, in turn, creating a fait accompli that would see Cedric brought into the role without much discussion)?


Were you aware of the efforts by Sinclair and Shrader to manipulate the hiring process for the position of Chief People Officer, in the summer of 2023, in order to suppress Debbie Hilton-Creek's application and, instead, get Shrader hired for the role of CPO (Shrader was then acting CPO AND head of HR)?

Why did the Comptroller rule that you violated state law by trying to designate the CCC's former COO (Alisa Stack) as agency head during your '23 leave from the agency? (The Comptroller also referred the implications of that invalid delegation to the Auditor, who is now investigating those impacts, including on the regulatory promulgation that was finalized during the specific time period in question.)
