  1. the map is based on the concept of the shoreline - a division between land and sea. the map is thus divided into two distinct "parts" as well - three-point curves and straight sliders representing the rigidity of land in the centre, and beziers representing the fluidity of water by the sides in kiai.

  3. the combocolours are part of the concept too - sandy, earthen colours for the parts of the map in the centre, and blue watery colours for the parts of the map in the sides.
