The demons sought both refugee and a chance to regrow. They wish to retake their home. Or to make Earth their new home. In the small city we find ourselves in, the lowest of the angels, the Enzekun, have begun selecting girls with magical energies to become Heroines.

We find ourselves witnessing one such heroine. A young... boy... who's recently discovered a new chance for strength.

The Church today was quite. It was a workday, so not everyone has the time to come to the church today. Father Andrew Robson walked up to the sister of the church. His wrinkled eyes smiled.

"Sister Gail, it is quite today. Would you mind going out to fetch some supplies at the store?"

He was happy that he caught her praying rather than the work out she usually does.

And slowly, a great shape rose up from near the altar. Towering and tall, standing eye to eye with most men, she was as a valkyrie made flesh. Her  figure was full and hard, matured though both time and strife. Her stance was broad, almost like a man's with how her feet were firmly planted below her shoulders. There was no feminine arching or leaning. The catholic sister stood firmly on her own two feet, while her forward facing, unslouched shoulders carried a raised chin and steely blue eyes. While she looked every bit a frosty, soulless warrior, it was the small curled smile that haunted her full lips and the warm gleam in her eye that showed that within this woman beat a quiet, yet fierce pride.

"Holy Father." she spoke, her english cutting, perfect. "I will gladly do so." that smile lifts just a bit more. As a catholic sister, she was not trapped within a cloister, but allowed to mingle with the world and it's wonders, both delightful and dark. "What will you require?"

The veteran pulls out a list. "Mostly just snacks for anyone who comes by for assistance. Although I do need more coffee for the coffee machine. Oh, and actually, while out, can you get some flowers for Saki-san. She's been under the weather lately."

Those frosty eyes drag themselves slowly over the list as her fingers close slowly around the paper. To her, the church, it's grounds and even the people within it, were like a garden.  Everything needed tended, cleaned and loved. These duties to both ministry and community were no different. "That is regretful to hear. Do you have any idea what she worries herself over now?" A grey moment passes the sister's eyes as she tries to recall life at Saki's age, a distant, foggy memory. "Flowers..." she tilts her head slightly as she collects the money. "I do think she will enjoy a pale, pink rose. I will see it done."

The trip is mostly mundane, at least until she finds her way to the flower shop. Very rarely does she see someone so unusual at such a place. A tall, lithe man stands admiring the flowers. His tanned skin is barely covered by the open vest-jecket he wears and his pants hug tightly to his body. He has muscle definition, but in the way that looks more to appeal to women.

He is admiring the flowers outside the shop, but then stands and turns to the Sister. "A dove of the lord in a place like this? How charming, I thought these people preferred the spirits or the chubby fellow." He walks up to the Sister and offers a rose he plundered from the stand. "Well, aren't you a beauty. What's your name?"

Sister Gail stands face to face with the man for a long, heavy moment. Her winter-touched eyes creep slowly down to the rose, turn to the stand, then menacingly rise up to meet the man's confident gaze.

"I am Valencia Gail. A sister of the church of his burning glory. I do hope that you are not a thief." she intones icily,  a subtle nod towards the stand.

The sister is veiled in her habit. A long sweeping spill of midnight black that neatly hugs her form. While other clothes are meant to disguise and distort the shape of the wearer, this attire makes it perfectly clear that Sister Gail is as a warrior maiden, blessed with both the firmness of a body forged in strife and the gentle shapes and curves of a well developed woman. The habit fits snugly over her head, with a few errant strands of gold framing the stoic  mask of her face.

Valencia reaches forward to pick up the rose, then with deliberate slowness, steps past the man and lowers it back where it should be. "It is but the sale of a single flower that may determine the wages of whoever runs this store. That sale may determine if a family lives well or struggles in poverty. Not a single thing upon this earth is cursed with insignifiance....although ignorance is forgivable." She turns to look him in the eye. "You may address me how you wish, when I know your name."

"Ah yes, my name. I am called Drake by many." He cocks his head and starts to walk away. "Shame, seems I must be off. Time is a wasting as it seems. I have my own flowers to tend to..."

He walks off, but the Sister seems to notice an animal, a ferret in the corner of her vision. It seems to be watching both him and her...

"Remember Drake." Gail speaks as the man turns his back. "You reap what you sow. Go with his blessings and grace." The stern blade of her fingertip slices the air before her as she crosses the man.

As she turns away from the man, her eye catches the sight of the...ferret? She stands still, her steely gaze locked onto it as she observes the odd animal.

The ferret waits a bit before the man is further away before bring its paw to its lips in a shushing motion. Once it looks around, it gestures the Nun to follow it into an alleyway somehow with its paw...

Many would shake their head in disbelief. Others might even step away, fearing some sort of prank. Sister Gail is neither. Her prayer of protection are not words from her lips, but the gristle-crunch of her knuckles as her hand balls into a fist. Possessed animal. Thoughts of the dread Legion and the diseased, squealing pigs filled her mind. Fear touched her, not for herself, but for the innocent and ignorant people around such a being. Her shoes knocked loudly off the ground as she strode towards the allyway, radiating an ice-cold menace.

As she walks into the alleyway, the ferret hops up onto an abandoned air-conditioning unit and stands on its hind-legs alone. A sudden transformation as its fur changes to pink from the feet up and tiny angel wings and a halo pop into existence.

"Thank goodness I found you Sister Gail! I have a mission from god for you!"

All those years of praying. All those decades of faith. For countless thousands of human lives, their experience with the truth, the supernatural and the beyond were fleeting and unsure at best. For Gail, all her years of armouring her body and her faith pays off.  There is no fear, no questioning, only a stern response from the sister.

"I am a soldier of he most holy. I hear and obey." she says, taking a knee before the ferret. She was calm. She was resolved. The very possiblity of this being a fake didn't even reach her mind.

The booming voice of the master of the dojo stunned all the early morning trainees. He always did seem to focus too much on his grand-daughter's faults despite, or maybe exclusively because of, her raw, unmatched talent.

"Your grip must be as strong as lightning crashing the moment the waves break!"

His metaphors never made sense to the other students.

"SHA!" Stepping forward, Saeko lashes out with a balled-up fist directed at the air in front of her. She imagines a phantasmal sparring partner easily blocking her blow. A disgusted sound escapes her lips. Grandfather was right. She needed to focus. She could be faster, she could be better. Eyes narrowing with determination, Saeko prepares another strike. "SHA!"

The response is quiet. "Better." He nods sagely and scratches his chin.

As her training goes on, a stranger comes by the building. "Uh... hey. Is Kurumada here?" Keiji, an old friend of Saeko walks up nervously through the room until he gets to where she is training. "Hey, we have classes today, remember?"

Saeko freezes in place, her blow hanging in the air. Twirling, Saeko twists around to look for the source of the familiar voice. Her serious expression is gone, replaced by the friendly and high-spirited demeanor that Keiji and the others at school knew her best for. "Is it that late already? Sorry!" She says, running her hands through her short hair and laughing nervously. "I k ind of got carried away with training..."

"Ah-alright! I'll just need a minute to get ready, sorry!" Saeko bows apologetically. With that Saeko then hurries past her grandfather and towards one of the adjascent rooms. With a hurried motion Saeko slides open the door then slips inside, all but slamming the door behind her. Inside the room she quickly begins to undress, shedding her white gi and replacing it with a blue blazer, red skirt, and white leggings with a matching undershirt. She spares a moment before collecting her book back and dashing out the door to meet up with Keiji once again.

"You ready?" He humorously pokes Saeko in the forehead. "Come on, let's get to class..."

The journey along to class goes on as usual until suddenly Keiji seems to be distracted by something... He seems to walk into a trance as he heads to investigate something Saeko can't seem to identify.

"Psttt, hey... you... girl. Come here..."

A... turtle? Calls towards her.

Saeko happily follows Keiji, filling their trip with the sort of idle chit-chat that's to be expected from a girl her age. Everything seems to be going just the way it normally does, with no reason for her to think that things would ever change for them when suddenly Keiji veers off from their normal course. "Keiji?" Concerned, Saeko follows after him. She reaches out to tug on his sleeve, but pauses when she hears a voice. No, not just a voice. This was...a turtle? Saeko can't help but investigate, approaching the shelled reptillian and kneeling down next to it. "Did you just...talk?" Saying the thought out loud made it sound even more absurd.

The wind is uneasy. Something is soon to happen. "Calm day today huh Nanako." Seems Grandfather sees things differently. "Have you plans of chasing squirrels today as well?"

He chuckles a bit at his own joke as he takes care of the shrine.
Winter, the Nascent Messiah - Hoje às 19:50
The way light reflects off the girl's figure could -at a casual glance - easily make one mistake her for a marbe statue, her skin so pale as to be almost luminescent on its own.

With a smile somewhere between enamored and annoyed she turns from dusting off the modernist altar the town mayor donated last year, letting her gaze sweep across the cool yet oddly inviting interior before deigning to respond.

"BORING, you mean!"

Her voice is surprisingly deep for a girl her size, the words projected outwards with a confidence that had always seemed somewhat at odds with her age.

"Squi-- no, I wanted to, you know... visit...."

She cuts off, deflating as mention of him turns her from a self-assured woman back into a timid girl.

She colours. She always hated the fact how he made her feel. Worse, perhaps, she hated that that she couldn't ever lie about it.

Her voice rises almost all the way to the next octave, the mop starting to spin in her hands as mind and body seem to suddenly disagree rather fundamentally on the next course of action, already-absorbed dust falling back to the altar ike so much snow onto a moutain.

"I mean. Ahm. I thank thee. I will give him your greetings".

Slowly makes a beeline for the door - mop still in hand - then stops dead as if she just ran against an invisible wall.

The way she pronounces the word makes it sound as if she were trying to find her way around the most ancient of incantations.

The journey into town continues until a fox seems to stop right in front of Nanako. It stares a few seconds at her, before jumping along to the other side of the road. It then turns to look at her again.

Cheeks glowing - an honestly somewhat disquieting sight  - Nanoka almost flees the shrine, only gradually calming down as she leaves it farther and farther behind.

She shakes her head again, mussy  hair bouncing this way and that. They said her great great great grandmother had been German -  Nanoka's  skin being a throwback that hadn't been seen since - and considering her hair's lightness she was almost tempted to believe it.

After a while she just looks at the road, carefully making sure her mind is free of.... those.... thoughts.

At the sight of the fox thng her first instinct is to regret she didn't bring any food along. Last time Mr. Faulkner... Jim, as he insisted. So troubling. Last time Jim had never given her a moment's rest after five different kinds of animal feed had fallen out of her pocket.

She had not wanted a repeat of that, but now?

With a whistle she slowly approaches the animal, looking somewhere between its eyes as to avoid startling it.

He looks at his hand with confusion, barely being able to comprehend what is happening, before his body start moving on its on, his hands turn a way from him.

In front of him, the sihoulete of a woman appears, hibiki is forced to match its movements as it waves and dances around conjuring magic around her, Light gathers and forms armor pieces around her, a loud crack heard when it materializes, Feathers extend from the armor, creating the dress part of the garments.

When its complete, the women seems to be decked in full valkyrie gear, with blue and golden armor, accompanied by a pair of huge wings, the boy just stands confused before he feels his body relaxes, the shadowy woman flies into him, the armor surrounds his body...but doesnt adjust to it, instead, like sacred mud, his body changes to fit the armor.

Lastly his hair grows with an explosion, extending all over the place behind him, a gorgeous golden cascade adorns this womens figure now, as she opens her glowing purple eyes.(editado)
