Here We Are: On the Rights and Struggles of LGBT People

Every day, a hidden class of people live their lives. This life is just like yours and mine; we love, talk, work, play, and everything in between. Except there’s one difference, that some people don’t agree is fine. They love those of the same gender as them, both genders, all genders, or their biological gender does not match their internal one. These are LGBPT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Pansexual, and Transgender, but we will use LGBT for brevity) people. Despite this disagreement, I urge to stress that all people, regardless of sexual orientation, deserve the same rights and protections.
