  1. You are getting close to 50 it's here veteran players diverge on what do to try out all the available content or rush to 80 I'm on the camp of checking out some if not all end game content each expansion before moving on I made you a lil checklist if interested

  3. -ARR Beast tribes (reputation/daily quests) there are 5 unlike expansions that only get 3 (one of each of the 3 first patches of a expansion) they can be tedious but great world building I think

  6. --Sylphs
  7. --Kobolds
  8. --Ixal

  10. -Deep Dungeon at times challenging kind of rogue like dungeon which spans 200 floor can be taken on solo or with a party of 4 with any combination of combat classes reward are exp and cosmetics

  12. -Blue Mage a special class that levels best in open world and learns skills by observing monster skills and killing them have unique endgame content

  14. -Hildibrand Quest Chain it stretches from 2.x to 4.x so far and is a long one but it's enjoyed by quite a number of players.

  16. -Dungeons the number of optional dungeons is pretty big as it's the foundation of the gate there are 15 to pick up in endgame won't tell you which.

  18. -ARR Relic/A Relic Reborn every expansion have a relic even for the existent ones currently are only grinded for the looks it gives you something to do between uploads if you care for it.

  20. -PVP
  21. It's something not too popular in this game to be honest but I think there is some enjoyment in it people mostly do it for cosmetics like mounts unlocked after certain amounts of wins and glamour pu with earned currency it's using a sync system so at level 30 you can access everything pvp there are 3 mode
  22. --Frontline it's the usual sergfest battle ground with set objectives,
  23. --The Feast it's similar to arena played with 1 ranged, 1 melee, 1 tank and 1 healer the twist is you fight with points and not to the death so if you die you can revive but you lose drop points for the enemy team to potentially pick up the game ends 4 ways 1. one team have a high enough point, 2. one team have no points, 3. timer runs out and one team has more than the other 4. timer runs out and a group lose sudden death battle breaking the tie
  24. --Rival Wings Vehicle combat not played it myself but will be super popular next week til 5.2 thanks to moogle treasure trove event so give it a try asap

  26. -Trials ARR is a bit different with it's 3 difficulty trials normal, hard and extreme as normal difficulty trials was cut after 2.0 replaced with hard which has a slight bite there ain't many but there are 6 optional trials to find in addition to the extreme versions of all trials you encounter during the story hard to get party for extremes best try gathering one yourself

  28. -Raids There are 24-man generally pretty easy and there are 8-man which is the hardest content of the two savage which is the top raid difficulty barely made it into arr with second coil of bahamut (savage)
  29. --The Binding Coil is a early version of the 8-man content 13 parts generally pretty quick but finding a party for it can be hard match making probably won't work so suggest using the party finder system, shouting in limsa for help and novice network if you don't have access ask some crown icon players to get in.
  30. --The Crystal Tower 24-man content coming in 3 parts easy to get a party as it's part of a roulette with only 10 duties in it 24-man content has a bit of a bite later on but ARR is pretty tame but it's tuned to the point where essentially everyone can beat it the first time they play it tho you will die much less with practice ;)
  31. Note: The story is fairly important here but not essential coils is representing the past like allagans and the calamity between 1.x-2.x and Crystal Tower is about the future brought back up this vary expansion so that's a must imo as it makes the expansion a little better
  32. --Savage very optional content in ARR barely anyone does it as the only incentive is torment and titles :3

  34. -Hunting every expansion there are 4 types of hunting excluding current that has 5 the 4 types are
  35. --Daily hunting which is specific normal mobs around the world,
  36. --Weekly killing a specific level 50 mob in a specific zone they have a 5-10sec respawn time so plenty to go around and easy to kill finding them can be harder as they can spawn all over the zones can google for spots,
  37. --A ranks you can do as much of as you can find probably need like 4 people for them and respawn time is 3-6 hours
  38. --S ranks gives 2.5 times as much as a A rank the catch is they can only spawn once very 2-3 days and some condition needs to be met to spawn it like falling off a cliff leaving only 1hp, fish up a special fish kill a mob, finish fate chain dying naked that kinda things best google it if interested
  39. --SS rank there is only one in game this expansion but sure to continue later expansions the idea is that when a S rank is killed in any of the expansion zone 3 special mobs will spawn along with a zone wide message giving people in the zone 5 min to kill 3 targets if successful the SS rank spawns giving 10x reward of a A rank or 4x that of S rank
  40. Note: Rewards vary between expansion but everything from retired endgame gear, teleport vouchers, mount speed increase, mounts, pets, furniture, retainer venures, chocobo food, gardening seeds ect

  42. -Special FATEs spawns every 3 days or so rewards tends to be a item you can exchange at vendors for rewards like pets, mounts and glamour themed around the fate

  44. -Treasure Hunting gatherers can sometimes find maps which can be sold to players or used yourself by decifering giving you a pice of a zone map with a X on it find it kill a few monsters and pick up a reward in expansions where are 8 man maps which has a chance to spawn a portal to a treasure dungeon with even better potential rewards

  46. -Grand Company/Squadron
  47. --Grand Company you rank up by finishing the grand company hunting log which is part of your normal hunting log and paying company seals to buy promotions at some point you can only rank up though your squadron
  48. --Squadron is like wow mission tables in the way that you need to send them out to progress them however once they are 20 you can pay them seals to run dungeons with them and level them that way

  50. -Housing
  51. --Appartment cost 500,000 gil and is a small room you can decorate with furniture from all kind of content there are plenty of apartments and as far as I know you keep yours permanently
  52. --Small House cost somewhere between 1,500,000 gil to 4,000,000 depending on how long a house is unsold and where in a ward it's placed a small house is about the size of two apartment as it's 3 floors
  53. --Medium and Large more everything 3-6 times as big as appertments can have more furniture both inside and outside of it can have more limited furniture like aquariums, vendor npcs, crafting stations,manniquens and gardens they are really hard to get and expensive 10-50 mil or so but they are in high demand so they never available for more than 20min at any point and having a small house gives you advantage in being able to skip lines relocating to one which instantly puts your furniture in storage to purches the house at the new spot
  54. --Free Company House a free company can own a house they work the same as player onces except no matter house size free company have a door that can take you to the company workshop where the fc can work together to build airships and submarines which can retrive rare rewards for your fc members like materials, furniture, materia, pets, mounts and housing interior and exterior designs
  55. --Free Company Room can be accessed via the same door as the workshop and let's members buy a appartment sized room for 300k gil which they keep til they leave the fc or gets kicked out
  56. --Utilitize a house can have crafting stations which helps crafters to level, wheel charging station which is alternate way to generate fc buffs besides player activity, Gold Saucer minigames machines can be bought and placed in your house, vendors can be placed in houses, orchestrions which allows you to change music in the house to game songs you have collected as scrolls, toy box where you can play minigames which you very rarely get from seasonal events, retainer and barber bells can also be placed in a house

  60. --Lord of Verminion rts with your minions
  61. --Chocobo breeding and racing let's you breed and race chocobo in a mario cart style mini game (poorly rewarding do just for fun)
  62. --Triple Triad collectable card game once unlocked can gather cards from battle content, beating npcs around the world during certain hours a day when they play, win tournaments and buy with mgp
  63. --Out on a limb and finer miner mini games which are the best way to get mgp consistantly but would be a grindy route
  64. --Mini Games low reward games like basket toss, tower striker, mogpaw and punch machine
  65. --GATEs like activites that starts every 20min 00 20 60 and so on gives a good chunk of mgp
  66. --Mini Cactpot daily scratch like game you scratch 4 out 9 spots and pick the row you think is the most valuable 1,2,3 giving 10k 7,8,9 giving 3.6k lowest reward 36mgp
  67. --Jumbo Cactpot you get to enter 3 number per week anywhere from 0000 to 9999 any of them happen to be exactly correct then you get 1mil mgp or higher depending on participents
  68. --Fashion Report weekly activity taking place between Friday and reset on tusdays reward for trying is 10k if you get 80+ score it's another 50k for a total of 60
  69. BONUS: easy 100k weekly mgp with challenge log: get 80+ fashion report 60k, play lord of verminion 5 times 27k, participate in 5 and complete 3 gates 13k
