Comic Book Kisses

Here we are, in the indie comics corner, my favorite part of the whole store. It's the only place where the boss lets us put all the 'underground comix' aka anything involving anyone of the same gender kissing. Yeah, he's such a prick about this kind of thing, but that's not important. What IS important is the other thing that makes this place my favorite: it's where I met you. You were right here, reading through Fun Home, and the asshole tried to make me kick you out. Instead, I sat and read with you, and thus began a beautiful friendship..that might end here.

(suddenly, quick and worried) No, no no, don't worry! I'm not mad at you, but..(sadly) you might end up being mad at me.

So..over the last few  years that we've been hanging out and shit, we've gotten really really close. We've had sleepovers like fucking teenagers, I helped you through your last few breakups, hell, you went to my sister's wedding with me because if I didn't have someone there, I would have fucking murdered someone. You're the best friend I've had..which is what'll make saying this either the best idea I've ever had, or the biggest mistake of my life so far.

(deep breath) I love you.

I love you more than Superman loves Lois Lane, more than Gambit loves Rogue, and more than Batman loves Robin...yeah, weird last example but you understand. I've been into you for what feels like infinity. You're as striking as a lightning bolt from the hand of a goddess. You've turned my blackest night into my brightest day. I wish that I'd met you when I was younger, that we could have been hardcore lady-types together as we got older, might have fallen for each other like Mal and Molly did. If I was a goddess, I'd spend my final two years with you.

I know that this might all be a little heavy, but..it's how I feel. So, what do you think..want to try this?

(in sudden joy) Really!? Oh thank god, I didn't mess us up! Quick, quick, kiss me, please! *kissing noises, then eager, happy laughter* Holy shit..we're a couple. C'mon, let's go back to my place. I got the latest issue of Rat Queens for us to read.

*chuckling* I saved this one for if you said 'yes': I want to eat your cunt like Galactus eats worlds. *giggles* C'mon, let's go home, sweetie.
