>You run your hands through your hair hoping she's here to take them back
>Wanting to ask questions you decide to bite your tongue until after current pressing matters are taken care of
>There is a mob of autism hunting you and youre not quite sure how to deal with 10 tons of disgusting human flesh
>You think your best bet would be to call in a bomb threat and describe the vehicle as a prius
>Thinking its a good idea you whip out your cell phone and push the 3 familiar buttons but hold from pushing 'send'
>Fuck they'll just trace my call back to me, it's too risky
>RD: Anon, what are you doing?
>You sigh and bend over on your knees trying to comprehend the situation
"Just give me a moment."
>You stay that way for a good long while before you're sure you rehearsed your lines enough to speak them correctly
"Ok girls. If we want to get out of this alive I'm going to need to make a phone call."
>TS: Who are you gonna call?
>You resist the urge to say Ghostbusters
"Help."
>That's the only word to leave your mouth as you rummage through your pockets for change.
"I need you girls to stay here and stay hidden. I'm just going around the corner and I'll be right back."
>You wait until everyone, including Lyra, get in your car and close the doors.
>You breathe for a second before nodding to them and then jogging off down the alley

>RD: "Its been almost thirty minutes. Where could he be?"
>TS: "We just have to trust that he's okay."
>RD: "But he said 'right back' the last time i checked that meant only a few minutes."
>The girls remained silent. They didn't doubt you'd be back but they were certainly worried.
>The girls stared out the windows and tried to get their minds off your whereabouts
>"So who's that human anyway?" Lyra finally asked.
>The girls looked at her and then at each other trying to figure out who would talk first.
>TS: "Well he seems to be a student at the local school. Aaand apparently he lives alone."
>AJ: "In the city of all places."
>FS: "He can be a bit violent sometimes."
>R: "But he can also be an excellent gentlecolt..er, human."
>P: "I just met him."
>Lyra listens to everyone in turn but in the end she just stares at Dash who doesn't say anything.

>Rainbow Dash just sort of smiles and shrugs as she thinks of you.

>The girls have little time to giggle when a loud thunking sound emanates from the hood of your car.
