  33. You have been trained in a variety of martial arts, and may select a style at the beginning of each combat. Styles cannot be changed mid-combat.
  34. ✴ Crane Style: Polearm weapons, such as spears, bo staves, halberds, nagimaki greatsword or glaives increase your damage to 1d8. In addition, Hack and Slash rolls of 12+ sweep enemies off their feet (assuming they are capable of such), making them incapable of moving or fleeing, and turning 7-9 Hack and Slash or Volley rolls made against them into 10+ rolls until the beginning of their turn. When using this style, you lose 1 point of armor against Hack and Slash attacks.

  36. ✴ Viper Style: One handed monk weapons, such as nunchaku, kamas, sais, swords or fans increase your damage to 1d8. In addition, Hack and Slash rolls of 12+ can disarm armed opponents. When using this Style, you lose 1 point of armor against Volley attacks.

  38. ✴ Tiger Style: Using your bare hands and feet, or hand-weapons like caesti, knuckle-dusters, and claws, increases your damage to 1d8. In addition, you may choose to give Hack and Slash rolls with these weapons gain the Forceful tag. When using this style, you gain +1 armor against Hack and Slash attacks made against you.

  41. When you spend several hours in meditation, you empower your spirit. At the beginning of each session, gain a number of Ki points equal to your Wisdom modifier plus your Dexterity OR Strength modifier. Ki points are regained at the start of the next session.

  43. • Land safely from an otherwise damaging fall.
  44. • Ask a single DR question as a minor action, without rolling.
  45. • Spend five minutes meditating, and remove a single standard debility.

  48. • Add +1 to a DD roll.

If the foe in question is particularly strong, they may not suffer death, but the GM must deal significant damage to them and give them a major debility that hinders their ability to fight in some significant fashion.[/sub][/collapse]
