+Patrick Clark __ You do realise they include a somersault or two in practically every "ISS interview" (usually toward the end)? It's a pity we never get to see more than 2 or 3 since they're doing them anyway.



I'm well acquainted with the kind of "appeasement argument" you are making and its variations. So okay, I'll concede that none of us deserve even a minute of their time and consideration to satisfy any of our "silly demands".



(Though I am delighted to report that earlier today one motivated gentlemen mentioned he had sent "NASA/ESA" an email querying them specifically about the practicalities of a type of "sauce bottle" aboard the "ISS" - and according to him he received a prompt and satisfactory response!)



Perhaps there is another way to look at this problem.



Given that there are now literally thousands of individual "ISS" videos don't you think that by now - *_by chance alone_* - we would have seen a qualifying ten minute "ISS" video that upon scrutiny remains free from glaring glitches, clever cuts, sneaky edits and misdirecting pans? _*Without any of us having to request it?!*_



Most "ISS" videos involve an "astronaut" talking in front of a camera. What is special about this is that the "astronaut" is - we are led to believe - experiencing zero gravity throughout the entire video.



_Hold that in mind._



Now, on YouTube there are many tens of thousands of videos where people are also talking in front of a camera. And in a lot of those videos there are also frequent cuts and edits. *But if we take a sample of just 100 such videos I am sure we'll find at least some where there are no cuts or edits for more than 10 minutes*.



Could it be the "ISS" does not have equipment that can record for longer than 10 minutes? _No one can accept that._



Perhaps it is that the "astronauts" are somehow suffering or are vomiting every few minutes and that is why there are no videos longer than 10 minutes without some kind of glitch, cut, edit or pan? _Maybe!_



It would not surprise me that if there is a real and manned "ISS" then the "astronauts" would lie about their living circumstances so as to not terrify the children watching.



Children - it should be noted - are the main audience of "NASA/ESA" videos - *as opposed to university students, engineers, actual scientists/researchers etc.*



If the glitches, cuts, edits and pans are not to hide frequent suffering and/or vomiting then what could the explanation be?



With the thousands of individual videos and hundreds of accumulated hours of footage surely an intelligent person must at some point wonder whether the reason we never see any qualifying footage that's longer than ten minutes is because it is a *policy* of "NASA/ESA"?



If you take a random sample of YouTube vloggers we can expect to see some videos that run longer than ten minutes without any cuts or edits. *But if we go through the _entire archive_ of "ISS" videos - that's literally thousands of them - _we see no such thing_.*



Surely if everything were "normal" then chance would have us see at least a few qualifying "ISS" videos.

Or do you think that 10 minutes of glitch, cut, edit and pan free footage is somehow beyond the resources and capabilities of an international centabillion dollar zero gravity research facility?



Remember - the collection of "ISS" videos builds daily and has been accumulating for more than 15 years. There has been over 15 years for us to randomly - i.e., by "dumb chance" - encounter a qualifying video *without ever having had to request it*.



No "appeasement" necessary from "NASA/ESA"! Not a single precious moment of "NASA/ESA's" time need be wasted on any silly "conspiracy theorists"!



So do you think it is possible that the absence of qualifying footage - despite there now existing thousands of "ISS" videos over more than 15 years - *is the result of a policy?*



Or is it just that we haven't flipped the coin enough to get the kind of "run" that we are hoping to see? That perhaps in the next 15 years we might by dumb chance - _and not from the hassle of a request_ - get to see some qualifying footage?

I suggest that the absence of qualifying footage despite so many videos and a significant passage of time is the result of a policy. Otherwise it would have by now occurred naturally and innocently on its own.
