Boston, March 1778: It is a time of change in the Americas. The revolt against the British Empire, termed the Revolution, is in full swing, and both sides have each added several victories to their name. In the north of the colonies, the city of Boston, a vital metropolis to anybody who holds it, remains in revolutionary hands, while the British remain in New York, contemplating their next move.

Yet in the shadows of this struggle for freedom lies a different conflict: the battle against entropy. The colonies have proven to be quite the resource for the Incubators, with dozens of prospects contracting from all sides. It is here, in the city of Boston, where there is a particular concentration of these defenders of humanity - and an equal number of their mortal foes: Witches...
A message has been sent out to any magical girls that would be willing to actually receive something of the sort from their peers. It detailed something about a Witch of unusual power, as well as a location that would serve as a meeting point., with a request to meet there and come up with a plan to deal with said issue. The location in question was one of Boston's many coffee houses, although this one seemed to possess a private area in the back, no doubt to ensure privacy.

It was getting dark. The sun was soon going to set, and the moonlight sky would begin to take its place. However, that didn't mean the day was over. No, in fact things were just starting. A letter had arrived for Ayla- probably for a suitor, at least according to her parents. She quickly opened the letter, heading to her small attic place and lighting a candle get a good light to read it. Inside, the letter wrote to meet somewhere, however it spoke of one more thing- Magical Girls. The same thing the white cat lookalike  told her about on that fateful night.

It was a 30 minute walk from where she was, so she went as fast as she could, hoping nothingw ould go wrong in the dark of night. As soon as she arrived, she looked around nervously, wondering if anyone else was around that would show her where to meet. However, not knowing anyone and no one knowing her, she simply hid in the corner that was darkest, hoping no one would see her except the sender of the letter.

Tirya sits in the abandoned building that she has claimed for herself, an unopened letter sitting on a table, mostly forgotten as she sits quietly, eyes closed, continuously scanning her surroundings to the limits of her ability. Blips pop up on her radar. "Magical Girls...why..." she murmurs to herself before opening her eyes. She fixates on the letter and narrows her eyes. She stands, walks too it, and rips it open, pale blue eyes scanning the contents. She scowls before turning and grabbing her cloak and leaving, headed in the direction of the area where the girls are.(edited)

For Tirya: The coffee house is located on a fairly busy street, nearby one of Boston's major markets. Makes it convenient to get the ingredients for the menu items! There's a back alley at the rear of the coffee house, though.

Ayla's appearance is that of a maid. She was wearing the typical maid costume of the 18th century, black and white with fluffed up sleeves. Her dress was noticeably a couple inches shorter, however it didn't show very well in the dark. Her brown air rested elegantly on her shoulders, with her green headband complimenting it very nicely. She had a very "closed" air around her, and looked nervous, fidgeting and hoping this would be over soon.

Elise is wearing a brown overcoat, long and concealing as if it was meant for a man much taller than her. She also has a black cap that she seems to like to pull over her eyes. Beneath her cap is a braid of brown hair tied behind her neck, and her lips are unpainted but smooth. Her hands are gloved in dark leather, though it's not clear if this is for temperature or protection.

She studies the outside carefully, noting escape routes (up the building and hop across and...she nods to herself) and assessing the amount of people inside. She carefully opens the door and slowly makes her way in, eyes dancing around the room. She takes note of the two girls huddled in the corner, pale blue eyes squinting. Above the bustle and chatter of the coffee house, another pair of eyes watch the room below from the dimly lit stairwell, taking in the tables and their occupants with the ease of someone who could name where everything is in their sleep. It's so busy tonight...so many people, it's strange...especially so many girls about her own age. It feels like forever since she's had anyone to talk to, and part of her almost wants to sneak downstairs, try talking to one of them about where they're from...One of them looks very strange indeed- she looks foreign!

Outside, she's able to detect most life signs out on the street - one of them is particularly unusual, though, something she's all too familiar with: an Incubator. If not for the strange yet not uncomfortable weight of the cat- is that what it is- on her shoulder, she might have thought the whole thing was a momentary flight of fancy. Maybe she's coming down with a fever...A faint giggle escapes her lips as she picks her way through the gloom of Boston at night, candles flickering near doors.

There might be a pattern to be discovered, which would be a magnificent breakthrough for her research. Catherine reluctantly returns the handshake, not used to physical contact in any form. But this is a part of life that she has long forgotten, and as soon as her hand touches Andria's she begins to sit up more straight, suddenly aware of her current position she stands up and attempts a curtsey. She fails, having not performed one for several years, but the gesture is there - she assumes.

She wants things. Every girl does. But trinkets, clothes, strange curios from foreign lands...these are too small to be called her heart's desire. Absently, she smiles a bit at the purr and keeps petting it, a bit more confidently. It helps her think. Unconsciously, she starts walking again- her feet taking her towards the storehouse. Sure, she has other things on her mind...but Patience's patience isn't actually unlimited.

Noticeabley, the shard is green, but more pressing matters happen as she tries to cover he bleeding foot. It luckily isn't serious and should heal after a day of not walking. However, her real attention was turned to her shoe.
This ripped shoe will definitely make her parents mad. 'Oh no... I did it again...' Ayla thought to herself, panicking. Though she can use her magic to fix it.... She's too nervous to do it here.

In order to quickly stop the bleeding so it can heal, Ayla grabs her spare hankie from the front pocket, and ties it cleanly around her feet. Next, she picks up her moccasin, grabbing it with both of her hands, and focuses. As if magic, the moccasin fixes itself, the small hole sealing itself with dark green threads. Once she's done after a couple of seconds, the hole is completely gone, with not even stitch marks to show it is gone.

Once that is done, she picks up the glass, before she is greeted by another girl. "T..." she begins to say as she walks away, but it's clear she is ignoring her so she cuts off. She takes the wrap, and pockets it, remembering to give it to her later. Ayla then looks again for another shard of glass, or at least the source.
