Duel Links Replay Notes #3

1st Duel:
- Not much to explain, just played fairly carefully. If you have a good Last Gamble deck and roll a 5 or a 6 you basically always win.

2nd Duel:
- I think this was in Gold this current season. The reason I could chain Econ to Metalmorph was because he used it on my attack rather than the damage step, pretty big misplay since he had to use his Etaqua. Also, the fact that he had 3 Exemplar this duel shocked me since it just came out with this new box set (P2W lol)
- The best way to play Last Gamble is to wait for the last possible moment; I just happen to topdeck really well throughout the game. Kinda frustrating for this guy trying to make a Spell Counter deck work. Tbh Magical Marrionette is a super interesting card, and Exemplar will obviously become better as time goes on.

3rd Duel:
- This shows off my Baboon deck I use on my alt account. Have had it for a few months, with the main purpose to be Gem-less; I want to use that account in case something extremely busted is introduced. But I eventually got to 9999 gems; when you exceed that, your gems are saved in the Gift Box, and will expire there after 1 month. So basically, you can't be a whale forever lol, you have to spend on something at some point.
- I decided to have fun, and try to build a Baboon deck from scratch. My alt account lacks staples such as Econ, so you see only cards from Land of the Titans, and Etaqua lmao. I'd explain some of the combos but too lazy lol, just watch how they work.
- The main appeal of this game was seeing this guy run Reinforcements just to search Lotus 100% of the time. Clever strategy in what was prolly a game in like Silver 1 or 2.

4th Duel:
- So I was kinda tilted that this guy didn't summon or attack me for like 5 turns; cards like Musasabi need to be destroyed, Possum needs a face up on their field, etc. so I couldn't get anything going. I tribute summon out of tilt and lose 2 Green Baboons, FeelsBadMan
- Security Orbs save me a couple times, and eventually I beatstick the hell out of this guy

5th Duel:
- So this Bakura plays fucking Fiend's Griefing. The card was pretty good in the tcg, but why the fuck would you play it in Duel Links? Tilted
- I like the play at 12:50 or so. Plays Baou equip on my card to get his 3rd fiend in grave, then summons Necrofear, and plays his super secret tech Mask of the Accursed. Then this fucker summons the actual MONSTER Baou.
- He could have just coasted and decked me out, but he decides to steal my monster. A few more wonky things happen but he quits.

6th Duel:
- Bet you didn't know Rex gets any skill except Dino Kingdom.

Tilted with that deck up to Gold, when I tried climbing past that I ran into Sphere Kuriboh a surprisingly large amount. Had to go back to Red Eyes to get to Plat. Chilled there for a bit, then the Super Joey event started. RNGjesus blessed me with 3 Insight that helped me coast to Legend. Hope that my next replays feature something other than Red-Eyes, a lot of people fucking hate the deck right now lol
