  3. New Questionnaire To Fill Out!
  4. Another Krayfish questionnaire except this time, I haven't filled it out (yet)! I've filled out a ton of questionnaires and typed a lot of people, and
  5. @fereldame Here's a questionnaire one of our members made, you can try filling it out
  6. fereldame06/17/2019
  7. Will do~ Should I post my answers here when I'm done?
  8. robobot1406/17/2019
  9. Yeah ^^
  10. fereldame06/17/2019
  11. Okay sounds great! Thank you for the help :)
  12. robobot1406/17/2019
  13. Welcome!
  14. fereldame06/17/2019
  15. Typology Questionnaire
  16.
  17. 1) Context:
  18. a) What is your age range and general location (Country so that cultural values can be taken into account)? Do you have any impairments that may affect the way that you answer this questionnaire? Any religious or political beliefs (or anything else along those lines) that also might have an effect?
  19. I'm in my early twenties, and of a mixed Asian background but I spent most of my life in Canada, so my cultural values have some Western and Asian elements. I don't have any impairments to speak of. I *am* religious, though I don't believe that will have an effect on the way I answer, but just in case :)
  20.
  21. b) Which types are you currently considering? Why are you considering them and why haven’t you decided on one?
  22. I've been typed ENFJ which resonates very strongly with me. After much introspection, I also believe that I'm a core 3w4, though I can't seem to nail whether my head fix is 6w7 or 7w6, and whether my gut fix is 1w9 or 9w1 (my motivations align more with 1, but I feel like my behaviours are more 9-ish; and while Enneagram is more about motivation, I can't help but feel like I'm tooting my own horn if I identify as a 1). I also align mostly with sp/so for instinctual variants, though I am open if you have other interpretations (this goes for the others as well; as sure as I am of anything, it wouldn't hurt to hear your opinion!)
  23. 2) What do you deem as your purpose in life?
  24. If I were being honest, I'm unsure. I have always had a feeling that I'm called to do something that makes a difference, though. One of my teachers in high school told me not to waste my potential, and to this day that is something I think about. I balk at ambitious endeavours because I'm scared of messing up and not being perfect and being embarrassed, but at the same time I don't think I would be satisfied with myself if I didn't at least *try* to make a difference. I'd rather be able to say that I tried and failed than to say that I didn't try at all and think, "What if?"
  25. 3) Of the seven deadly sins, which one(s) do you relate to the most and the least and why?
  26. I relate the most to envy, and perhaps pride would be a close second. I used to always look at what other people had that I didn't, rather than what I had. It has been something that I've long since worked on and am getting better at. Pride is second because it's something that like many people, I try to protect, but like envy, I've worked on forgetting about my pride as much as I could and focusing on what I should do - the right thing to do.
  27. As far as the one I relate to the least, it would probably be gluttony or sloth: Gluttony because it's not something that I think about a lot, as I don't see the need to take part in pleasures all the time. Sloth, because while I do like to take the easy route when I can, I have a nagging voice in my head that is berating me and insisting I take the proper route. I'm also more of a person of action. I can't sit still when I know something should be done.
  28. 4) Analyzing your relationships with others, briefly describe:
  29. a) The type of people you are drawn to
  30. I'm drawn to people who are rather quiet and unassuming, but who have rather loud personalities when you get to know them. I am drawn to people whom I can have long conversations with. This doesn't apply to all my friends, but a lot of the people I have tried my best to get to know and to keep in touch with are people with whom I can talk for hours.
  31.
  32. b) The type of people who are drawn to you
  33. Hm... I have made a few friends who are more shy than I am who come to me for advice. I've been told that I have a calming presence, and so some people like to confide in me when they need someone to talk to. They may also have unconventional interests but they are comfortable about it because I try my best not to show judgment.
  34.
  35. c) The type of people you are repulsed by
  36. People who are rude, for absolutely no good reason at all. It baffles me even more when they are proud of it. Also, people who have no concern over morals. I don't have the time or the patience for those people who aren't troubled by the way they treat others.
  37. 5)What are the traits in others that you admire but you cannot emulate yourself? Elaborate.
  38. I love those who are wonderful leaders, unafraid of anything and focused on doing what they believe is right. Characters like Captain America and Chrom (from Fire Emblem) embody qualities that I most admire. I also admire people who can react in the moment and are confident in doing so. Both of the aforementioned I like to think I am working towards showing in myself as well. Lastly, I suppose charisma is one trait that I love and adore in others and I wish I had more of. It's something that comes natural to some people and I wish I possessed that as well.
  39. 6) Describe your relationship with the following:
  40. a) Anger
  41. I don't enjoy being angry and so I try to avoid it. It feels very stifling, suffocating, and rather toxic. I have gotten angry a few times, and I used to feel bad, though because I rarely get angry, whenever I do I sometimes feel like the situation calls for it. I try to avoid anger from other people, but depending on the situation, I won't care about their anger if I feel like what I'm working toward is more important/good.
  42.
  43. b) Shame
  44. I feel this often. I try to avoid it if possible, but it's something that is just there and that I have learned to just accept, and occasionally use it as fuel to motivate me to work even harder to attain my goal.
  45.
  46. c) Fear
  47. I have a love/hate relationship with fear, haha. There are two things fear can do: restrain me and occasionally help me avoid danger, but also restrain me from doing something great. Those who know me best disagree with me on this, but I think I used to entertain fear too much and be far too afraid to try many things. Nowadays, I like to think I've quelled a lot of fears because I (tend to) prefer facing them head on. If they're logical, sure, I'll listen to my fears but only because they align with reason.
  48.
  49. d) Love/passion
  50. Probably one of my favourite feelings. I feel love a lot for my friends, and passion in things that I do. I don't know if I've ever experienced it all that deeply though, but one day I think I'd like to be able to feel the all-consuming love/passion that books and movies talk about.
  51.
  52. e) Conflict
  53. Something that I avoid, but I've engaged in as well when the time calls for it. I'm much more comfortable engaging in conflict with people I know well, partially because I care more about what they think and am not going to waste time with a stranger. I'm also not going to waste time in conflict with someone who I know isn't going to listen.
  54. 7) What are some of the themes that have played a prominent role in your life (ie. A struggle you’ve been unable to conquer, etc.)?
  55. Nerves. I used to perform a lot in theatre: singing, dancing, etc. I would audition, be given these wonderful roles and solos way before I thought I was ready for them. But when the time comes to perform, I feel like something seizes up inside of me and I mess up. I think it's the pressure of wanting to be perfect, rather than the desire to do my best, that takes over and prevents me from ever being satisfied with myself, and in turn because I'm not satisfied, I feel like I let other people down too.
  56.
  57. 8) Answer only one of the following:
  58. a) [College aged and above] What is your area of work/study? Why did you choose this and would you change it? If so, what would be your ideal?
  59. My major is Psychology, with a minor in English. I chose Psychology after taking it as an elective in high school and finding it really fascinating, but mostly it just came naturally to me. I also think it's very versatile as an undergraduate degree. I never planned on working in Psychology in the first place (though I'm open to it), but the principles are so applicable to everyday life regardless what I end up doing after university.
  60. As for my minor, I picked English because it would give me an edge in becoming an English teacher, but I do enjoy studying English literature (I just wish my grades didn't depend on it haha but it is nice studying something that I like). I wouldn't change a thing; I'm happy with my major and I'm a believer in things happening the way they do for a reason, so I believe I'm doing exactly what I'm supposed to do :)
  61.
  62. 9) When meeting a new person, what do you tend to focus on?
  63. I focus on their appearance but mainly the vibe they give, whether they're kind or not. I notice if they talk to me as well, as I tend to be quiet around others and it's nice when someone initiates a conversation first. (I don't mind doing this myself, but I don't mind being beaten to it either :P) I also notice confidence, or lack thereof.
  64.
  65. 10) How do you feel about humanity as a whole? What do you feel are some of the biggest problems the human race faces and why?
  66. I feel like humanity has a lot of potential that is squandered. I think the biggest problem that humanity faces is avarice. There are more than enough resources in the world for everyone to share and live comfortably, and yet people choose to hoard what they have and are content with letting others struggle. Hypocrisy is another thing, and chosen ignorance to other dilemmas is yet another. I don't like to talk about humanity in a negative light, however, so I think that is all I might be able to say for this question.
  67. I answered the rest of the questions but that's already a lot to read (sorry for how long my responses are!), so I'll leave it there for now but I'm happy to share the rest of my answers should you want to see them.
  68. RadicalKrayfish06/17/2019
  69. Longer responses are always better so long as your adding information and not like.... repeating things I guess
  70. ✧✶ɭน๓ιຖ❍นs✶✧06/17/2019
  71. I'm guessing 1w9, 3, 5 or 6 (but others may be better at getting the fixes), sx-last. Could you make a collage of images that appeal to you? It would help with IV typing. Right now I'd guess sp/so, but I'm not entirely sure.
  72. RadicalKrayfish06/17/2019
  73. I can entertain 3 core, I don’t really see much that goes against that. 3w4 works decently
  74. I don’t typically question when people identify as image core, you seem like a good example of sp 3. Sp/so works well
  75. Id definitely say 1w9. The 9 and 1 influence seem fairly close, but you seem to put an emphasis on morality and perfectionism. I wouldn’t worry about the behavioral aspects especially when you seem to have a competency orientation
  76. I think 6 works. I’m curious, why did you think 7?
  77. ✧✶ɭน๓ιຖ❍นs✶✧06/17/2019
  78. I'm curious, too... I didn't see 7...
  79. fereldame06/17/2019
  80. Here is a collage I made for another server. It consists of images that are supposed to represent myself, but I do find the pictures appealing as well.
  81.
  82. Interesting! Im happy that I have considered 1, 3 and 6 though I haven't considered 5.
  83. I realized while filling out the questionnaire that I sounded a lot more 1 than 9
  84. As for 7, I think it's mainly because I've always been one to look at the bright side of things especially in my friend groups, which ofc doesnt really have to do with motivation but I think that affected my perception of myself in a way that aligned more with 7. My Se is currently in development too so I'm being a bit more... Opportunistic lately rather than paying a lot of attention to rules and whatnot. I also shy away from unpleasant conflicts by default, but as I said, I will engage if deem it necessary.
  85. I initially typed as a 6 when I first got into enneagram, but I never thought that I sought a support system. I treated it as me being logical, how I don't normally rush into things unless I am sure I'd come out of it unscathed or I would get something out of it. I do see more of a 6 motive than 7 motive though, again, after that questionnaire
  86. ✧✶ɭน๓ιຖ❍นs✶✧06/17/2019
  87. Hmm. From the collage and what you just posted I think you're likely sp/so. Anyone else have thoughts?
  88. RadicalKrayfish06/17/2019
  89. Im not great at collage typing, but it definitely has an earthier feel that I’d associate with sp
  90. I see what you mean with the 6 thing too, I’ve never related to the support system aspect of 6 either. It’s heavily pushed for 6, but I’ve always noted that particular aspect of 6 (ie. Looking outwards for affirmation/security) appearing in other ways
  91. I find that being somewhat uncentered and desiring, desiring certainty as a means to security, and being somewhat doubtful of your own thoughts as well as perhaps those of others is more fitting of 6 in some cases. I tend to surround myself with “resources” that are more physical or even conceptual in terms of information from varying sources rather than people
  92. Do you happen to be able to relate to something like that instead? Perhaps an inner ambivalence or uncertainty towards things to a degree by default and perhaps looking outwards in a different way?
  93. (You dont really sound triple competency either, but I don’t really see 7 as an option. I think 6w7 could be plausible though if you don’t relate to 5)
  94. fereldame06/18/2019
  95. Cool, sp/so is what I tend to relate to most often. If it's not that, I can definitely agree that I'm sx-blind
  96. I relate a lot to what you just described, actually. I'm the type to double- or triple-check everything because I'm never certain of myself, and oftentimes, like what I'm doing now, I'll ask other people for affirmation in order to be sure of a lot of things. I'm not doing that as often anymore and am learning to trust myself, but I used to do that quite a lot. I never related to fear being too much of a motivator, but I think that that could be due to a weak head fix (if that is the case). May I ask you to elaborate more on "resources"?
  97. As for 5, yeah, I couldn't relate to that much either. Supposedly withdrawn, likes to detach from things, which as much as I would like to do because it's more objective, I find it rather difficult.
  98. 🦄Lord Lavender🦄06/18/2019
  99. Hmmmm I can seee hmmmm
  100. From the questionares hmmm
  101. 3 is clear and 1 or 9 as well with the wing being strong
  102. But yeah your head seems more 5 or 6 than 7 to me
  103. fereldame06/18/2019
  104. Ahh I'm glad that two out of the three types in the tritype are fairly clear ^^
  105. May I ask why you think 5? I see 6 more than 7 from the questionnaires as well, though why 5? (I'm definitely biased towards myself haha so I would like your objective point of view~)
  106. 🦄Lord Lavender🦄06/18/2019
  107. Lol no worries
  108. You seem more on the withdrawn and low key head energy sort of way rather than the more expressive 6 or 7 way
  109. Head is last though I think so it likely will be the hardest one to figure out
  110. I dont see any 7 escapism or fear of deprvation from you
  111. Probably 5w6 or 6w5 in head
  112. fereldame06/18/2019
  113. Yeah, I'm realizing that head isn't as strong as I thought it was because it's so hard to pinpoint.
  114. Interesting, I didn't consider 6w5 either. I'll have to read up on those
  115. Part of why I considered 7 (though I don't identify with it as much anymore) is because I read this:
  116. Head Center/ Primary Coping Mechanism: Disassociation
  117. Head cores disassociate from the problem in one manner or another, directing their focus elsewhere or seeking safety, in order to avoid feeling or experiencing insecurity.
  118.
  119. 5 - Isolation. In order to avoid feelings of incompetence, 5s isolate themselves in their own minds, drawing away from emotions, other people, and the outside world. They may become unreachable, viewing other people and their concerns as an overwhelming hinderance.
  120.
  121. 6 - Projection. In order to maintain their sense of security, 6s project their emotions outwards. Suspicion is projected onto others (“they’re out to get me!”, etc), or positive emotions are projected (“they could never hurt me”).
  122.
  123. 7 - Rationalization. In order to avoid pain or unpleasant experiences, 7s reframe situations. In their minds, anything can be positive — or neutral, or justified. They avoid the problem by believing there is no problem at all, or that at least the problem doesn’t matter.
  124.
  125. I don't know how accurate it is, but why I turned away from 6 (which is what I initially typed as) is because I don't (think I) project, or at least I try very hard not to. I'm very prone to rationalization, as it says 7 does, and I'm a firm believer in "everything happens for a reason" and always trying to see the positive side of things. I do think that that will apply for the other head types though, but I'm just not too sure how.
  126. 🦄Lord Lavender🦄06/18/2019
  127. Hmmm good reasoning
  128. I think being a type is more than defensive mechanism tbh
  129. Hmmmmm
  130. Triads are a very good way to type yourself though they can confuse at times :P
  131. fereldame06/18/2019
  132. I agree! There is a lot that contributes to type~
  133. 🦄Lord Lavender🦄06/18/2019
  134. If you look at your head energy is it hmmm
  135. Is it compenty, reactive or positve (You can be a mix of two or even three)
  136. And btw how do you handle things when you feel anxious
  137. fereldame06/18/2019
  138. Could you please elaborate on the head energy question a bit? I'm inclined to think competent and reactive, but in a sort of... positive way. (I know that doesn't help, sorry)
  139. 🦄Lord Lavender🦄06/18/2019
  140. No worries :)
  141. Hmmmmm
  142. Like when you feel anxious what do ya do?
  143. As a 7w6 for instance I tend to keep going to stave if off moslty
  144. fereldame06/18/2019
  145. Oh hm well it would depend on what it is I'm anxious about. I can talk about an anecdote if that will help.
  146. One of the times I was the most anxious in my life was the first time I was travelling alone, meeting up with a friend on the other side of the world. When we booked our flights I had a gut feeling I might miss our second one (not connecting) because my first one would be delayed, but nothing to back it up ofc and my friend insisted on booking an earlier flight for our second one. My first flight did end up being delayed and I would have had to rebook the second one should I miss it. I immediately thought of all the things I could do as soon as I found out my flight was delayed and made any calls, sent any messages and emails necessary until I exhausted all of my options. Essentially, I tried to tackle whatever it is I'm anxious about. (I spent the delayed flight - which lasted about 10 hours - super anxious and couldn't wait to get off the plane.)
  147. This was years ago though. Now if I'm anxious about something, I see what I can do about the situation in the moment and again, exhaust all my options. If there's nothing I can do that will affect it in the moment, I push it to the back of my mind. No use worrying about something if there's nothing that can change it in that moment.
  148. 🦄Lord Lavender🦄06/18/2019
  149. Hmmmmmm
  150. I can defo see competency outlook there
  151. Seems that your 3 and 1 elements did infulence you a lot there
  152. But imma think of what head is going on there
  153. 6w5 I think of for some reason
  154. Maybe a little w7 due to anxiexty of misisng out on that trip
  155. fereldame06/18/2019
  156. Oh, where do you see 3? I do see 1 but I'm wondering how the 3 came out as well
  157. 🦄Lord Lavender🦄06/18/2019
  158. I feel this often. I try to avoid it if possible, but it's something that is just there and that I have learned to just accept, and occasionally use it as fuel to motivate me to work even harder to attain my goal.
  159. This is 3 af
  160. Very 3ish outlook on shame
  161. fereldame06/18/2019
  162. Oooh, I should explain. The anxiety of missing out on the trip wasn't because I would, well, miss the trip. It was "I'm going to have to pay extra money to rebook a flight that I knew I would likely miss because my friend convinced me to book an early flight, instead of just going with my gut feeling that something was going to happen" haha. It was really "I'm going to lose money when I could have avoided this, smh" xD
  163. 🦄Lord Lavender🦄06/18/2019
  165. Thats also very 3 and with a probable 4 wing
  166. fereldame06/18/2019
  167. I thought you meant 3 in the trip anecdote haha. Those are very 3-ish, I agree. That's why I'm pretty confident about having a 3 in my tritype, and having a 3 core in general.
  168. 🦄Lord Lavender🦄06/18/2019
  169. Ahhhh
  170. I can see the 3 in hmmm
  171. You are staying calm and not letting emoitons get to you
  172. Very coimpteny outlook
  173. Plus you working through your problems in a practical way
  174. fereldame06/18/2019
  175. Yes! That is something my friends comment a lot on about me. When a problem arises I usually try to think things through and not let emotions get in the way (unless it is an emotional dilemma) because it won't really solve anything nor get us closer to the solution.
  176. 🦄Lord Lavender🦄06/18/2019
  177. That defo fits your type profile for sure
  178. BTW how are ya looking on 9 vs 1 btw?
  179. fereldame06/18/2019
  180. I'm leaning towards 1 after having filled out the questionnaire. I do resonate with the 9 avoiding conflict and just wanting things to be "harmonious" but again, I'm willing to engage if it's necessary (more willing if it's with people I know well) and even then I'm not likely to have a sort of, "explosive" anger. I'm more likely just going to state my opinion as it is and be firm about it. My motivation lies more with 1 as well, and I actually mistyped as core 1 for a while.
  181. (Not having an "explosive" anger just because I don't see the point in it ^^; If I can state my point calmly and competently then I will.)
  182. [t!] TatsumakiBOT06/18/2019
  183. @fereldame has leveled up! As poisonous as a(n) iris ❀...
  184. 🦄Lord Lavender🦄06/18/2019
  185. Hmmmmmm
  186. 1w9 does seem to fit
  187. Though with a very strong 9 wing
  188. Again comp over postive outlook
  189. fereldame06/18/2019
  190. Cool! Again just curious, but could you see 9w1 over 1w9 anywhere? I relate with the description of 9w1 from the bot, more than 1w9. 1w9 I can relate to more internally than superficially with behaviours
  191. 🦄Lord Lavender🦄06/18/2019
  192. Hmmmm
  193. Not reallly
  194. Its clear to me that the 1 is stronger than the 9
  195. Your 9 seems more of a hmmmm
  196. second fiddle ina w ay
  197. Like you give the vibe its nicet o have peace but you wont go out of your way to seek it
  198. fereldame06/18/2019
  199. Awesome haha. Just making sure and wondering if there is anything I missed ^^
  200. Yeah it's not something that I actively try to attain. It's great, as you said, but I'd much rather have things be "right" and disrupt the peace if I have to do so.
  201. 🦄Lord Lavender🦄06/18/2019
  202. Indeed thats veyr 1w9
  203. As a 9w1 fix its for me hmmm
  204. We are inverse in our peace seeking
  205. Like I seek peace and its nice to to be moral and right
  206. But I would choose peace over being right at the end of the day
  207. fereldame06/18/2019
  208. That makes sense!
  209. I do pick my battles though haha. I'll try my darnedest to change things and make them right and rock the boat if I have to but if I've tried and I know it's not going to work, I'm not going to waste any more of my efforts xD
  210. 🦄Lord Lavender🦄06/18/2019
  211. Lol :D
  212. Anything else you wanna cover btw?
  213. fereldame06/18/2019
  214. For typing? It was mainly the head and gut fixes that were tripping me up for enneagram. If you know about socionics though, I would like to get some insight on that, if possible :) If not it's totally cool
  215. 🦄Lord Lavender🦄06/18/2019
  216. I can help a little
  217. Not a sonconics expert
  218. But I do know a thing or two :D
  219. FIrst of all do ya see yourself as any possble sonconics types or qundras?
  220. fereldame06/18/2019
  221. To be honest I'm not quite sure about how socionics works. I've read up on it and I have yet to wrap my head around it  If you'd like we can hold off on socionics until I've grasped it. Though I can tell you that on tests, I've gotten SEE (ESFp) and ... I forgot what the type was but it was for ISFj. It kind of baffled me since I'm ENFJ in MBTI, though I know the two systems work exclusively

  230.
  231. Just as a recap, we've reached 3w4 1w9 for sure as core and first fix respectively, and sp/so as IV, right? :) And then head center as a second fix is still being debated, though 7 has been ruled out. Much stronger argument for 6 than 5, could be 6w5 or 6w7?

  236. This type is generally private and reserved, and especially serious and practical minded in their focus to gain material security and in making useful connections that support their goals. When they do form a connection, loyalty is very important to them and they will not hesitate to end a relationship on grounds of disloyalty. This type may lack a certain degree of interpersonal warmth which can give the impression of coldness or disinterest in others, even a sense of selfishness. May be drawn to groups that attract like minded individuals, as in business clubs or volunteer organizations where a shared professional culture can facilitate social bonds. They tend to live conservatively and dress in an inconspicuously appropriate fashion befitting their status in life. May have a characteristically blunt and direct style of communication that can take others some getting used to. They are particularly strong in matters of commitment and sacrifice, and enjoy being the benefactors in assisting society’s practical needs.
  237.
  238. Motivation: to attain a position of material and societal security.
  239.
  240. Familiar Roles: the businessperson, the responsible citizen, the pillar of society.
  241.
  242. Examples: Bill Gates, Donald Trump, Martha Stewart, Harrison Ford

  246. Sixes with a 5 wing are generally introverted and somewhat intellectual. When healthy, they often have many realms of interest as well as surprising competencies and skills. May have an original and idiosyncratic point of view. Can be bookish; some are interested in history or feel rooted in the past or related to a long tradition. Also good at predicting the future. May test potential friends for a long time but once you're in, you're in - a friend for life. When more entranced, they may project a willed remoteness. Have a "tip of the iceberg" quality - they show little but you sense hidden dimensions, intensity and activity. Tension between needing to be seen and withdrawing for protection. Might act arrogant or cryptic or cynical when afraid. When phobic, can be diplomatic and say things without saying them. Entranced counterphobics are either cool and loners or argumentative, tending towards violence. Can brood over injustices to them, entertain conspiracy theories, spend time alone building cases. Paranoia in private. May like secretive behind-the-scenes group activity. Sneaky vengeance, passive/aggressive toward others, self-attacking and self-destructive at home.

  250. Sixes with a 7 wing are generally outgoing and may appear more overtly nervous. More plainly want to be liked and will pursue others in contrast to 5 wing who pulls in. Can be charming, sociable, ingratiating. Have a faster tempo, stronger connection to 3. Often self-preservation subtypes, characterized by a personal warmth. Can have a cheerful, forward-looking drive and be disarmingly funny. Self-effacing, gracious and curious. When more entranced, may be self-contradicting and seem as if they want two things at once. Sometimes test others overtly, drive you crazy with mixed messages. It may be hard to follow what they're saying. When threatened, one defense is to become impossible to please. When counterphobic, they tend to be accusative. Some get caught up in big plans that they hope will result in material security. Also can be insecure, irritable, petty, irrational, chaotic. Subject to mood swings, inferiority complexes, runaway fears. May have hair-trigger flare-ups of paranoia. Falsely accuse others and then seem not to realize it. Other times they plead to be taken care of. Sometimes defensively conservative in their lifestyle. Some struggle with appetite.

  258. Im so sorry I’ve been taking so long to get to this, I’m eventually going to I promise lel
  259. I may be able to help with socionics as well, Im no expert though
  260. I can at least get you started in a direction though when I get a chance
  261. Since you’re ENFJ, id say good homework for you might be to look into EIE, IEI, EII, and IEE and see if any of those are relatable
  262. If you get stuck on any of those, I may be able to help, and if those are completely unrelatable, I can see what else might be sensible
  263. Actually, scratch IEE, I don’t think you’ll relate to that. I used to (mis)type as that and from what I’ve read, it sounds very little like you present yourself
  264. fereldameLast Wednesday at 10:20 PM
  265. No worries! :) Take your time, there is no rush.
  266. Sounds good, I'll read up on those types! It may be worth mentioning that on socionics tests, I've often gotten "sensing" types.
  267. RadicalKrayfishLast Wednesday at 10:51 PM
  268. Oh interesting. ESE and SEI night also be worth looking into then as well, especially if you find the above doesn’t fit
  269. fereldameLast Thursday at 4:35 AM
  270. Thank you! :) I've looked at the above types that you mentioned, and from the descriptions on the bots, SEI resonates the most, followed by ESE and EIE
  271. fereldameLast Thursday at 7:23 AM
  272. Also, I had just taken a socionics test (just to see what result it would give me) and I got SEE, and it's the second time that I've gotten this result. If I'm not this type, what do you think is the reason for me getting it as a result? :open_mouth:
  273. In case you are interested/it will help, here is a screencap of my results including the other types it suggests.

  279. Se as Leading Function (SLE, SEE)
  280.
  281. The individual feels at home among people who are actively doing something and interacting with each other directly (visibly), and is able to organize people, move them around as necessary, and guide them in achieving a specific goal. He or she likes a measure of deference and malleability in others, since it allows him to "make things happen" the way he wants them to happen. He has high awareness of his surroundings and is usually keenly aware of changes of physical and material nature around him. He is quick to access boundaries and perceptive of when others are moving onto "his turf" and where there lie potential conflicts of interests over material resources. Being highly aware of his reality and confident in the present actual state of events, he resolutely moves forward to achieve his own goals. He typically wants to make all decisions that concern sensory aspects of his life for himself: what he will do, wear, eat, look like, etc., and resents any attempts by others to make these decisions for him (conflicts over sensing). However, he is willing to make use of other peoples' suggestions, advice and ideas, as long as he plays the most visible role. He usually values first hand experience, lives life experiencing it "on his own skin", and will gladly teach it to others whom he sees as less knowing and aware of the realities.

  285. Fi as Creative Function (SEE, IEE)
  286.
  287. The individual is very adept at perceiving, establishing, and maintaining personal bonds between people. However, these bonds are often perceived as being situational and flexible rather than static. The individual is inclined to focus on establishing personal bonds with other people in the context of realizing or following perceptions from his base function. The person easily creates a sense of closeness and kinship between people by expressing like and acceptance, but these sentiments are situational rather than an expression of permanent feelings. If the person's mood or external situation changes, he or she may "turn off" the feelings instantly, even forgetting whom they had created the feeling of kinship with.

  289. Interesting! I relate pretty well to these points:
  291. And relate very much to Fi as a Creative Function as a whole

  293. Check out the oracle for more explanations pertaining to functions, dichotomies, romance style, and so on. And keep in mind that MBTI and socionics diverge. For instance, Fe indicates expression and Fi relations, while Se reflects force.

  297. @fereldame Im pretty sure I’ll be able to help tonight enneagram wise, but here’s some things that might be helpful to get us started in figuring this out:
  298. 1) What is your relationship to denial? Do you have a tendency to reframe situations in your mind at all?
  299. 2) What is your relationship to planning?
  300. 3) Would you consider yourself idealistic? How so or why not? What does idealism mean to you?
  301. 4) Do you have any relationship with secrecy or hoarding? How much does it take for you to ask someone for help?
  302. 5) You mentioned optimism at some point I recall. How does optimism manifest in your life and under what circumstances?
  303. The more detailed you can be, the faster/more accurate this should be, I should get to this around 6 or 7 est if all goes well
  304. fereldameLast Thursday at 6:55 PM
  305. Thank you! I'm on my way to work right now but I'll answer those when I have time, probably when I finish work around 2pm UTC+9.
  306. RadicalKrayfishLast Thursday at 7:11 PM
  307. Sounds good
  308. fereldameLast Friday at 1:03 AM
  309. 1) I have a very close relationship with denial, I have to say, occasionally more than I would like to admit. Sometimes I deny things out of pride, and due to a fear of making myself look bad. But often, to answer your second question, it's to reframe situations in my mind. I try to think of even bad things that happen to me as something good, and I try to find the lessons I could have learned from them. It's something I've done since I was little, because I don't see the use in wallowing over things in a negative light (at least for me), and I prefer seeing what I can gain from them. I've adopted a philosophy of "everything happens for a reason" and I live by that.
  310. fereldameLast Friday at 1:26 AM
  311. 2) I would say I have a healthy relationship with planning. I find myself planning for everything often, and I've incorporated it both into my daily life as well as into my career. I plan to have an idea of where I want something to go and also have something to fall back on, but I don't cling onto my plans when it is unwise and I prefer to take opportunities as they come, even if they aren't part of the plan.
  312. 3) I tend to consider myself realistic over idealistic, but I feel like because of the way I frame things in my mind I may appear idealistic. Why I consider myself realistic is that idealism to me tends to be... unreasonable and too unrealistic, at times. I don't see why I can't be an optimist or think of things positively and still be sensible about it.
  313. 4) Firstly, secrecy. I can keep secrets fairly well, I think, unless I see it detrimental or unless I think doing so would hurt someone else. As for whether I have a lot of secrets myself, I think I do but not on purpose; I am just a bit selective with what I choose to share however I know I can appear very open.
  314. I don't think I have a relationship with hoarding. Sometimes I keep things that I don't need due to sentimental value, but lately I try to be mindful of whether I need something and whether it "sparks joy".
  315. As for asking for help, I would say that it depends on the context. If I'm in a situation where there are people there from whom I'm supposed to ask for help and they're not that busy, then it wouldn't take much for me to ask; if they are busy, I'll keep trying to whatever it is on my own until I can't progress anymore or unless I screw up. On the contrary, if it's a situation where I'm supposed to prove my competence, depending on how much it matters to me, I may prolong asking for assistance as much as I can or forgo it entirely.
  316. 5) I would say optimism kind of... permeates my life. There are very few things I regard rather negatively or hopelessly. As mentioned earlier, I don't really see the use of not being positive. I understand some people tend to avoid being "optimistic" in favour of not being disappointed, but I just like to be ready for whatever consequences a situation may entail and at the very least hope for the good. Optimism is most prevalent to me and to my friends when something goes wrong, and I'm the first to go, "Wait, don't worry! We can still fix this" and proceed to take the immediate or most necessary measures to attain the outcome we wanted.

  334. Sorry this took so long for a response, I've really been drowning in work/lacking motivation haha
  335. But often, to answer your second question, it's to reframe situations in my mind. I try to think of even bad things that happen to me as something good, and I try to find the lessons I could have learned from them.
  336. Unless this is just a healthy coping mechanism, this sounds fairly positive outlook and may fit the bill for 7-level reframing
  337. Lmao I love that emoji I have never seen it
  338. 2) I would say I have a healthy relationship with planning.
  339. This question in particular was to see if I could pull out any 5 from you, in terms of needing a plan/preparation for security in a 6w5 sort of way. Your response was purely 6.
  340. 3 I didn't get much by, just sounds competency, which makes sense for a 316
  341. In 4, your "relationship" with secrecy and hording both sound purely sp. You also seem to have less issues with asking for help than someone with a 5 wing might and provided a generally reasonable response, very competency in nature but not 5 level competency
  342. I have a similar response to question 5 as I do 1, however you do seem to have the reframing strategy that a low grade 7 might, very much tinged in the 6w7 way, "Cautiously optimistic."
  343. I'd probably say 6w7 over 6w5 @fereldame , but if you're not convinced I can think of more things to distinguish the two for sure and would be glad to help (and also will be less tardy, I'm not so burnt out atm).
