- ----------Summary----------
- In this Stardew Valley life, I'm going to see if I can get the highest rating from Grandpa's first evaluation...
- without killing anybody in the process.
- In general, this means no fishing, and no killing monsters. My fishing level and combat level should remain at 0.
- I also will not use items that normally come from these sources, even if I find them at a shop!
- ...And I'll try not to play Journey of the Prairie King!
- ---------Perfecting Grandpa's Evaluation----------
- To "pass" the evaluation, I need to get 12 points out of the following...
- 1 - 50,000 G in total earnings.
- 1 - 100,000 G.
- 1 - 200,000 G.
- 1 - 300,000 G.
- 1 - 500,000 G.
- 2 - 1,000,000 G.
- 1 - Have an 8-heart relationship with 5 villagers.
- 1 - Have an 8-heart relationship with 10 villagers.
- 1 - Have a really good relationship with pup or kitty! <3
- 1 - Be married in a fully souped-up house.
- 1 - Have 30 total skill levels (here, that means maxing Foraging, Farming, and Mining).
- 1 - Get (and use?) the Rusty Key.
- 1 - Get (and use?) the Skull Key.
- There are other points, but those are not possible to acquire given my restrictions.
- (Although completing the museum miiight be possible? I think some artifacts only drop from monsters, though.)
- This is a total of 14 points, meaning that only 2 points can be missed.
- ---------Known Items To Avoid----------
- In this run, these items will all be avoided, regardless of their source:
- -All fish
- -This includes all items that can be picked up on the beach, even shells... you never know, someone might still be using them!
- -All bait
- -All monster drops (Slime, Bat Wing, Void Essence, and Solar Essence)
- -Anything cooked from the above
- -Anything crafted from the above (and anything resulting from those):
- -Oil Maker
- -Truffle Oil
- -Oil
- -Lightning Rod
- -Battery Packs
- -Iridium Sprinklers
- -All Lamp Posts
- -Crystalarium
- -Quality Fertilizer
- -Speed-Gro
- -Speed-Gro Deluxe
- -Mega Bomb
- -Warp Totem: Beach
- -Rain Totem
- -Skull Brazier
- -Barrel Brazier
- If any of these end up in the inventory, they will be discarded ASAP - not sold, not gifted, not crafted. (Fish go into water, of course!)
- ----------Other Restrictions & Details----------
- Monsters may not be killed; if any are, my first priority is to lose all my health as soon as possible, as punishment. Still, I'm hoping nobody has to die!
- Monsters may take damage if they are accidentally hit by a pickaxe, as long as a finishing blow is avoided... still discouraged though.
- Bugs and Squid Kids in particular, having only 1 health, are to be watched out for.
- Notably, all animal products, since they don't require the death of the animals, are fair game. Even Rabbits' Feet, oddly enough...
- (Even though there are moral concerns with eggs especially, they'll be allowed here. I'm a lacto-ovo vegetarian!)
- Note that this all makes certain bundles in the Community Center impossible to fill.
- These include all Fish Tank bundles (duh), the Adventurer's Bundle, and some Bulletin Board bundles.
- This means mine carts will remain inactive, the Glittering Boulder won't be destroyed, and...
- ...well, the Community Center won't be completed. That's a potential three points gone. :P
- Finally, no playing Journey of the Prairie King! If Abigail forces me into a game, I'll end it as soon as possible. Lives in video games within video games matter too!
- ...Though Junimo Kart is okay. Near as I can tell, that Junimo is immortal.
- ---------...Disclaimer?----------
- The above is only based on what I currently know about Stardew Valley.
- There are plenty of things I don't know, especially since there have been many updates since I last played.
- So if I run into anything else that seems like something a vegetarian pacifist like myself would do, I'll act accordingly.
- ...Though I did maybe look at the wiki to check a few things, like how the heck Grandpa's evaluation works and whether all artifacts can be gotten.
