  1.
  2. ----------Summary----------
  3.
  4. In this Stardew Valley life, I'm going to see if I can get the highest rating from Grandpa's first evaluation...
  5. without killing anybody in the process.
  6.
  7. In general, this means no fishing, and no killing monsters. My fishing level and combat level should remain at 0.
  8. I also will not use items that normally come from these sources, even if I find them at a shop!
  9. ...And I'll try not to play Journey of the Prairie King!
  10.
  11. ---------Perfecting Grandpa's Evaluation----------
  12.
  13. To "pass" the evaluation, I need to get 12 points out of the following...
  14. 1 - 50,000 G in total earnings.
  15. 1 - 100,000 G.
  16. 1 - 200,000 G.
  17. 1 - 300,000 G.
  18. 1 - 500,000 G.
  19. 2 - 1,000,000 G.
  20. 1 - Have an 8-heart relationship with 5 villagers.
  21. 1 - Have an 8-heart relationship with 10 villagers.
  22. 1 - Have a really good relationship with pup or kitty! <3
  23. 1 - Be married in a fully souped-up house.
  24. 1 - Have 30 total skill levels (here, that means maxing Foraging, Farming, and Mining).
  25. 1 - Get (and use?) the Rusty Key.
  26. 1 - Get (and use?) the Skull Key.
  27.
  28. There are other points, but those are not possible to acquire given my restrictions.
  29. (Although completing the museum miiight be possible? I think some artifacts only drop from monsters, though.)
  30.
  31. This is a total of 14 points, meaning that only 2 points can be missed.
  32.
  33. ---------Known Items To Avoid----------
  34.
  35. In this run, these items will all be avoided, regardless of their source:
  36.
  37. -All fish
  38. -This includes all items that can be picked up on the beach, even shells... you never know, someone might still be using them!
  39. -All bait
  40. -All monster drops (Slime, Bat Wing, Void Essence, and Solar Essence)
  41. -Anything cooked from the above
  42. -Anything crafted from the above (and anything resulting from those):
  43. -Oil Maker
  44. -Truffle Oil
  45. -Oil
  46. -Lightning Rod
  47. -Battery Packs
  48. -Iridium Sprinklers
  49. -All Lamp Posts
  50. -Crystalarium
  51. -Quality Fertilizer
  52. -Speed-Gro
  53. -Speed-Gro Deluxe
  54. -Mega Bomb
  55. -Warp Totem: Beach
  56. -Rain Totem
  57. -Skull Brazier
  58. -Barrel Brazier
  59.
  60. If any of these end up in the inventory, they will be discarded ASAP - not sold, not gifted, not crafted. (Fish go into water, of course!)
  61.
  62. ----------Other Restrictions & Details----------
  63.
  64. Monsters may not be killed; if any are, my first priority is to lose all my health as soon as possible, as punishment. Still, I'm hoping nobody has to die!
  65. Monsters may take damage if they are accidentally hit by a pickaxe, as long as a finishing blow is avoided... still discouraged though.
  66. Bugs and Squid Kids in particular, having only 1 health, are to be watched out for.
  67.
  68. Notably, all animal products, since they don't require the death of the animals, are fair game. Even Rabbits' Feet, oddly enough...
  69. (Even though there are moral concerns with eggs especially, they'll be allowed here. I'm a lacto-ovo vegetarian!)
  70.
  71. Note that this all makes certain bundles in the Community Center impossible to fill.
  72. These include all Fish Tank bundles (duh), the Adventurer's Bundle, and some Bulletin Board bundles.
  73. This means mine carts will remain inactive, the Glittering Boulder won't be destroyed, and...
  74. ...well, the Community Center won't be completed. That's a potential three points gone. :P
  75.
  76. Finally, no playing Journey of the Prairie King! If Abigail forces me into a game, I'll end it as soon as possible. Lives in video games within video games matter too!
  77. ...Though Junimo Kart is okay. Near as I can tell, that Junimo is immortal.
  78.
  79. ---------...Disclaimer?----------
  80.
  81. The above is only based on what I currently know about Stardew Valley.
  82. There are plenty of things I don't know, especially since there have been many updates since I last played.
  83. So if I run into anything else that seems like something a vegetarian pacifist like myself would do, I'll act accordingly.
  84.
  85. ...Though I did maybe look at the wiki to check a few things, like how the heck Grandpa's evaluation works and whether all artifacts can be gotten.
