  1. We begin our little our little story with a man running down an alleyway, running from something that was closing in very quickly. Bobbing and weaving through the various trash cans and fences, the man found himself stuck in at a dead end. He frantically looked around for a place to escape to, an open window, an unlocked door, something that he could use to run. However, there was nothing, and the sounds of footsteps could be heard. The faint light of a cigarette could be seen in the man’s vision, and the sound of metal could be heard scrapping the concrete.
  2. “Reggie, my good friend Reggie…why do you always have to run away from us? You know it’ll only get worse when we catch you.” Said the unknown man.
  3. The man could see two individuals stepping out of the shadows and into the bright street light. Two males, one was a tall man blonde hair with green eyes. Wore a red suit jacket, with a maroon shirt and black pants. His hair was slick pack with two bangs hanging off, and a large grin stretched across his face. The other was short, had dark red eyes, and brown skin. His hair was spiked looking like some kind of anime reject with his weird white hair. His expression gave off nothing except killer intent, staring at the cowering man.
  4. “You owe our boss. And we’ve come to collect.”
  5. Said the smaller man as the fearful Reggie responded.
  6. “L-Look, you’ve just gotta give me some more time! I’m good for it I promise! Hans you know I’m good for it right!?”
  7. The blonde-haired man, known as Hans, took a drag from his cigarette as he stepped towards Reggie. One hand in his pocket and the other on his cigarette, he got face to face with him.
  8. “Reggie, I’d love to give you an extension I really would.” He said taking the cig from his mouth and blowing a puff of smoke into the mans face.
  9. “But you know how the boss man gets when we don’t collect. So…”
  10. In one fell swoop, he put out the cigarette in the man’s eye. The sight of Reggie falling to the ground writhing in pain brought Hans boundless joy. It got good laugh out him before he turned his back and let Erin take the reigns of the situation.
  11. “Have fun buddy.”
  12. Hans said as he pat Erin’s shoulder when he walked by. It is revealed that the metal clanging came from a metal bat. It shined in the light when he raised it above his head.
  13. “Sorry. This is just business.”
  14. Erin declared, before bringing it down on the man’s body. Hans stood on the outside of the alleyway waiting as the sounds of pained screams could be heard in the distance. Erin continued to bring it down on the man’s arms and legs. He avoided the head as best he could, but with Reggie squirming it only made it harder on both. Once the deed was done Erin knelt and whispered to Reggie.
  15. “Please pay your dues in the next 6 days. I don’t want to come back here again. Because if I do…I will kill you.”
  16. He left a bleeding and broken Reggie on the ground and rejoined his partner on the street side. He called an ambulance to pick the man up, before walking away with Hans.
  17. “Do you always have to call an ambulance? I’m sure some other person would do it for him. Or maybe he could do it himself! Least with his good fingers anyway.”
  18. “It’s the right thing to do. Besides, if he’s taken care of he’ll be healthy enough to get the money he owes us.”
  19. “Right thing to do? You say that after you beat him within an inch of his life with a bat? You’ve got some seriously fucked up morals man.” It made him laugh as the two continued to walk.
  20. “Oh, shut up half elf we’ve got to meet up with the boss at the club.”
  21. “Oh right, that means fun times abound for me! Don’t know about you though, spend time with dear ol’ dad?”
  22. “…”
  23. “Oh, come on are you still annoyed by that word?”
  24. “…”
  25. “It’s just a word, dad, daddy, papa, padre, father...!”
  26. The resulting word barrage caused Erin to pin Hans to the wall, pressing the bat against his neck. Hans could only cough and smile looking at Erin’s pissed off expression.
  27. “You look stupid when you’re angry…”
  28. “Don’t. Ever. Use that word. Around me. Again. Got it?”
  29. “Oh, come it’s just a wor-! Ach! Okay Okay!”
  30. Erin let him go, as Hans rubbed his throat and gasped for air.
  31. “Jeez…you’ve got some serious issues you need to work out.”
  32. The two soon arrived at a fancy looking car, both getting inside and Hans driving them to the club Nightingale. Inside they found themselves walking through the various patrons, filled with people dancing drinking and having the time of their lives unaware that the above floors the crime boss known as Faust sat with his guards and two beautiful women resting on his shoulders. The two young men entered, with Faust looking to his son. Faust was a rather large man, both in height and build. Had hands that could crush a lesser man’s skull with a single squeeze and a stare that would bring others to their knees. In a deep growling tone, he spoke to the duo.
  33. “Did you get my money?”
  34. “Uh, well…I mean…” Hans hesitated.
  35. “We didn’t get it. We beat the man and told him he had a few days to get it back to us or we kill him.”
  36. Erin answered instead, giving a straightforward answer. The man stood and towered both Erin and Hans, standing at about 7 to 8 feet tall, and moved to the two with Hans hiding behind his partner as a shield. Faust and Erin stood face to face as he stared down at him.
  37. “Get my money in those “few days” or I’ll see to it you both fed to the orcs. Are we clear?”
  38. “Yes sir!” Hans declared.
  39. “Yes. Sir.” Erin answered as the man soon nods and leaves with his girls following behind.
  40. Hans gave a sigh of relief.
  41. “I need a drink and a cutie on my arm.” He said as he heads down to the club area while Erin stayed back for a few minutes.
  42. Jump ahead and we see Erin sitting at the bar alone, drinking an entire bottle of liquor while Hans was dancing with some random girl. Erin wasn’t much of a lady’s man like Hans, preferring to drink alone and keeping to himself and his thoughts. Hans on the other hand was more sociable, always one to crack jokes and always itching to get into a girls pants when work doesn’t get in the way. And tonight was no different as he continued to chat this girl up and persuaded her into coming home with him. Erin was already in the car, quickly being ignored by the pair and heads inside of their fancy home once they got there. Hans and the girl weren’t even half way through the door as the two were swapping saliva, meanwhile Erin slowly moved around the two and headed for his room where he found his solace. He fell into his large bed, and rested his drunken eyes after a long long night.
