- So, recently (a few weeks ago) I started streaming again. I wanted to get back into speedrunning, because I missed being apart of a community and that sense of accomplishment from slowly bring down my times. It feels good to look back at all the runs you did as sort of a collective work in progress.
- The past week of trying to do runs of different games I have run in the past has sort of felt forced, and made me notice I've lost any sort of drive to work on a specific game. Its like I've got no drive right now to speedrun even though I want to and it really feels shitty. I'm not sure if I'm feeling pressured by myself or perceived perceptions of those who follow my stream. So I don't wanna be all like "fuck this shit, I'm done with speedrunning. I'm going to take a 3759694 month hiatus." Only to want to speedrun the following week.
- Basically, I've had an epiphany. I'm just gonna do what feels natural and stream whatever I'm feeling like. I'm gonna abandon this perceived feeling of pressure and just relax a bit. If I want to do a random speedrun I'll do it. If I want to stream destiny I'll do it. If I want to stream me dying several thousand times in rage playing VVVVVV or bloodborne I'll do it. I want to stream a lot more, because it's Hella fun, but for the time being there's no set "thing" my stream is gonna focus on.
- I've decided it'll just come natural once I stick to a new "thing". :>
