- -Fire Punch (TM 48)
- -Ice Punch (TM 33)
- -Thunder Punch (TM41)
- All of these TMs can be purchased
- Scyther, Level 5 - ROSEAU
- -Must know Swords Dance and Wing Attack, plus Reversal:
- Breed one Female Scyther with a level 44 Heracross that knows Reversal to get one Male Scyther that knows Reversal. Then raise that Scyther to level 42 for both Wing Attack and Swords Dance. Breed with another female Scyther that is level 42 and knows both Wing Attack and Swords Dance to get one Level 5 Scyther that knows Wing Attack, Swords Dance, and Reversal. Both Heracross and Scyther can be caught in the wild in Crystal
- -Endure (TM 20)
- Only Pokemon that needs Endure, no breeding/duping required
- Machop, Level 5 - SOFIA
- -Must know Focus Energy, Karate Chop, and Rock Slide:
- Raise both a male and female Machop in Gen 1 to level 32 so that they will know both Karate Chop and Focus Energy (will evolve, that’s okay, will learn Focus Energy at level 36). Teach both Rock Slide via TM48. Trade to Crystal, breed to get one Level 5 Machop that knows Focus Energy, Karate Chop and Rock Slide.
- NOTE: Rock Slide is listed as a Gen 1 only move, so if baby does not know Rock Slide, trade to Gen 1 and teach via TM. Then trade back.
- -Earthquake (TM26)
- NOTE: Machop is only in Human-like egg group which means I’ll probably need to duplicate the Earthquake TM for this.
- Cubone, Level 5, 51, 100 - ROME
- -Must know Rock Slide and Screech
- Raise a Male Larvitar to level 22 to learn both Rock Slide and Screech. Breed with Female Cubone for level 5 Cubone that knows Rock Slide and Screech. Both can be caught in Crystal. Get one with HP Bug, Dark or Ghost for convenience sake. Raise to level 51 for PokeCup later. Raise to level 100 for Prime Cup using same move set. Use same move set in Gym Leader Castle.
- -Earthquake (TM26)
- NOTE: Is possible to breed this down from the MONSTER Egg group, but it’s the only one that can learn it by breeding so might as well dupe.
- -Headbutt (TM02), replace with Hidden Power (TM10) for PokeCup
- Only Pokemon that needs Headbutt, Hidden Power TM can be purchased.
- Staryu, Level 5 - TOKYO
- -Thunderbolt and Thunder Wave are Gen 1 only moves
- Trade baby Staryu to Gen 1, teach Thunderbolt via TM24, Thunder Wave via TM45, then trade back to Gen 2.
- -Surf (HM03)
- -Rest (TM44)
- NOTE: Staryu is in the Gender Unknown breeding group which means it’d probably be easiest to just duplicate the Rest TM for this purpose.
- Elekid*, Level 5 - CANBERRA
- -Must know Thunderbolt, plus Barrier
- Breed one female Electabuzz (Route 10) with a Male Mr. Mime that knows Barrier. To get one, catch a Male Mr. Mime on Route 21. If it does not know Barrier, breed with Ditto, for another Male Mr. Mime, should be one of the baby’s moves. Get one Male Elekid that knows Barrier. Raise it to level 47 to learn Thunderbolt. Make sure it evolves along the way. Then Breed it with a female level 47 Electabuzz that also knows Thunderbolt for a level 5 Elekid that knows Barrier and Thunderbolt.
- -Psychic (TM29)
- -Ice Punch (TM33)
- Both of these TMs are purchasable
- ———Raising Notes:
- For above Pokemon, raise using the following method:
- Max out stats as much as possible with vitamins.
- Gain small amount of experience in battle. Deposit in Daycare, and immediately withdraw. Stats should go up, but experience needed to evolve should reset. Repeat until stats no longer rise.
- Don’t forget to meet Battle Tower Levels before PokeCup Levels
- Machamp, Level 51, 100 - LUANDA
- -Must know Rock Slide and Light Screen
- Breed one Male level 21 Mr Mime that knows Light Screen with a female Machop for a level 5 Machop that knows Light Screen. Trade that Machop (at any level) to Gen 1 and teach it Rock Slide via TM48. Then trade it back. Must be evolved via trade, so would be convienient to do it then. Raise again to level 100 for re-use in Prime Cup.
- -Cross Chop, level 37 as Machop, 43 once evolved.
- -Earthquake (TM26)
- -For Gym Leader Castle, replace Light Screen with Rest.
- NOTE: Machamp is in the Human-Like egg group, so both Rest and Earthquake will need to be duplicated for this.
- Jolteon*, Level 53 - BERLIN
- -Must know Reflect and Thunderbolt
- Both are Gen 1 TM moves. Trade to Gen 1 and teach Reflect via TM33 and Thunderbolt via TM24. MAY NOT HAVE TM33 in Blue, may need to get via alternative means. Alternatively, can teach Thunderbolt via move tutor in Crystal. Breed for Hidden Power Grass?
- -Thunder Wave, learns at level 42 after evolving, or via TM in Gen 1
- -Hidden Power (TM10), if not Grass, sub with another move
- Hidden Power may be purchased.

- Only Pokemon that needs Dragonbreath, can just use the TM
- Dodrio*, Level 51 - LIMA
- -Must know Haze and Body Slam
- Breed a Male level 46 Zubat, or 55 Golbat/Crobat that knows Haze with a female Doduo for a level 5 Doduo with Haze. Trade baby to Gen 1 to learn Body Slam via TM08 at any level. Then trade back.
- -Drill Peck, learned level 33 before evolving, 38 after
- -Steel Wing (TM47)
- Only Pokemon that needs Steel Wing, no breeding/duping required
- Zapdos, Level 100 - SEATTLE
- -Trade Seattle from Gen 1 for use in Prime Cup. Do Stat Experience training.
- -If Hidden Power is grass, replace Substitute with Hidden Power via TM10. If not, do not change move set.
- Hidden Power can be purchased
- Note: HP not Grass, keeping Substitute.
- Alakazam, Level 100 - ALMOND
- -Trade Almond from Gen 1 for use in Prime Cup. Do Stat Experience training.
- -Replace Substitute with Dynamic Punch via TM01
- -For Gym Leader Castle, change move set. Replace Dynamic Punch with Ice Punch via TM33, and Thunder Wave with Thunderpunch via TM41
- -For Rival fight, change move set. Replace Ice Punch with Shadow Ball via TM30
- Would be the only Pokemon that needs Dynamic Punch, but Shadow Ball needs duping.
- Snorlax, Level 100 - KINGSTON
- -Curse (TM03)
- -Shadow Ball (TM30)
- -Return (TM27)
- -Rest (TM44)
- Snorlax is in the MONSTER egg group, but also Shadow Ball already getting duped. Would be the only Pokemon that needs Curse and Return can be purchased. If possible can breed for Rest but it’s already gonna need to be duped too.

- -Rest (TM44)
- -Agility, learned at level 24
- -Swords Dance, learned at level 42
- Is in the BUG egg group which means Rest can’t be bred onto it, would need to dupe.
- Tyranitar, Level 100 - BEIRUT
- -Must have Ancient Power. Raise a Male Omastar to level 54 in Gen 2 to learn Ancientpower. Then breed with a female Feraligatr to get a male Totodile that knows Ancientpower. Breed that Totodile with a female Larvitar for a level 5 Larvitar that know Ancientpower.
- -Crunch, learned at level 47
- -Earthquake, learned at level 61
- -Roar (TM05)
- Is the only Pokemon that needs Roar

- -Must have Reflect, Dragon Rage. Breed level 5 Aerodactyl. Trade to Gen 1 to teach Dragon Rage and Reflect via TM. Give it vitamins while it’s there and trade it back.
- -Should know Wing Attack upon hatching and can teach HP via TM, purchasable from Celedon Dept Store.
- -with gold berry
- Smeargle, Level 10 - OSLO
- -Smeargle only learns Sketch every 10 levels, first being at 11, so to get a level 10 Smeargle with a full moveset, I’ll need to use the Move Relearner from Stadium 2. The way it works is I’ll have to beat Gym Leader Castle (R1 works) with Smeargle in my party to get it to learn the remaining three moves. Only re-run after each move has been Sketched. Need to figure out how to reliably Sketch these specific moves
- -Dragon Rage, Spore, Substitute, Agility
- -with berry
- -Get a pokemon with each move, use on wild smeargle. Switch to own smeargle once that smeargle has sketched the move, and then sketch it back
- Lapras, Level 10- NAIROBI

- -with leftovers
- -Raise two Lapras that both know perish song together, baby will know perish song. trade baby to Gen 1 to teach Dragon Rage and Reflect via TM and also do vitamins
- -Trade back and teach it Surf
- ——— Raising notes:
- For level 50-55 Pokemon, just use vitamins. Do not use any Rare Candies.
- For level 100 Pokemon, max out their stats as much as possible with vitamins. Then grind 37 times elite four, deposit in box, and withdraw to raise stats. Do this until stats no longer rise.
- Can do two at a time in theory if I solo the E4 with one and another holds the EXP Share
- SEATTLE IS DONE
- BEIJING IS DONE
- ROME IS DONE
- LUANDA IS DONE
