Intent With Rank/Skills/Knowledge:  Been developing towards this for a while, and plan to use it to make events.

 Mike had been devoting his study's to the more darker arts but he was doing so with pure intentions, though he wasn't even sure if that would be enough. He understood that it was the way he used it that mattered but with this power he was unsure if he'd be able truly use it to benefit thous in need or even stop the void from expanding with each soul it collects.

He'd been running experiment after experiment and been finding that his sway over souls and life energy were getting better. Finding himself able to revitalize plants that had died, and even kill the living test rats with a single touch, draining them of their life-force.

While this was all well and good for his progress he was curious how well it'd handle with extracting souls back from the void and great beyond. He looked at one of the rats that had been dead for nearly five hours. He walked over to it and stroked it's side softly. “Right then little buddy, let's see if I can also restore life as easily as I can take it” He mused as he began drawing up a small ritual circle before placing the body onto it.

He began channeling his magical energy into the circle which began to glow with an eerie black and green glow. The two outer most circles began to glow slightly before a small fire appeared in the,.

He began chanting something that came out a bit more distorted then what he was normally use to. His voice seeming to boom through out the basement of his building as the magical lights in there seemed to dim as energy was gathered from the surrounding area. The Fire soon consumed the rat and then died down.

The rat remained. It's body slowly warming back up before it twitched. And slowly but surely it was alive and moving. Though it was a weak soul to begin with this progress meant he was making leaps and bounds , his studying was paying off, but to what effect this might have on a sentient being, he would surely find out soon enough.
