[08:24] <~Reverie> -Session part 2 starting, grab your tits, and I swear to God I'll find you...-
[08:25] <~Reverie>  Blackout nods lightly. "Well then, here we go..." he turns and presses a lever, the large door starting open behind him with a metallic grinding sound, at least the old thing still worked...
[08:28] * Snowshoe blinked, watching the door slowly open. "Don't got any oil?"
[08:29] * Jauni looks at the door, and winces at the sound, "That's a bit annoying..."
[08:29] <~Reverie> The scene opens with the group walking into the Depository, which as described beforehoof is... well indescribable in short, it consist of row after row of banned and slanderous books, tapes, transcripts, and much more over the past three centuries. Anything from political science to horror novels can be found in the mix. The shelves stacked to the ceiling and extending off into the dark, more SR scribes are there as well, working amongst the
[08:29] * Proverb doesn't seem to care about the noise.
[08:29] <~Reverie> Blackout smiles, looking around. "Well hot daum..."
[08:30] * Snowshoe let out a low whistle. "Fuck me sideways..." she mumbled, trotting inside and looking around in awe. "This place has got nothin' on Bucklyn Public..." she said, amazed. That place had been intact, but not to this degree.
[08:31] <~Reverie> Reverie chuckles, trotting after Snowshoe, "Ministry of Image was busy cleaning house it seems. Moreso than we initially thought. Guess the Hotshots were for real."
[08:33] * Jauni looks about the place, jaw hanging off her mouth as she looks about in wonder. Without a word, she tries to slip between two shelves to look about.
[08:34] * Proverb flies up, and begins browsing along the upper rows of books.
[08:35] <~Reverie> At this point, it's a free for all for those involved, the shelves hold hundreds of thousands if not millions of books from ages past. Decreed slanderous or seditious in one way or another. Reverie follows after Snowshoe and Blackout after Jauni.
[08:35] * Snowshoe begins trotting along as well, looking over at the rows of books. She picks one up at random, flipping through it. "One who is wise can go up against the city of the mighty, and pull down the stronghold in which they trust..." she read, looking at the title ont he page. "Proverbs. Hey, Provy, you wrote a book!" she called out with a giggle.
[08:36] * Jauni reads the spines of a few books, "Huh... This really...?"
[08:36] * Proverb 's ears perk. "R-Really?" She giggles, floating down to Snowshoe.
[08:37] * Reverie stoops and picks up a book, reading a peice of text from it. "We cannot tell the precise moment when friendship is formed. As in filling a vessel drop by drop, there is at last a drop which makes it run over; so in a series of kindnesses there is at last one which makes the heart run over." he smiles slightly.
[08:39] * Snowshoe laughed, shaking her head. "Naw. Just a book on proverbs. Look at this one...28, The wicked flee when no man pursueth, but the righteous are bold as a lion." She grinned and set the book back, overhearing Reverie. "Glorious subtext!" she said with a giggle.
[08:40] * Reverie sits down on the floor, reading this book he had found, knowing immediately why it had been banned. "Nobody listens anymore. I can't talk to the walls because they're yelling at me, I can't talk to my wife; she listens to the walls. I just want someone to hear what I have to say. And maybe if I talk long enough it'll make sense. And I want you to teach me to understand what I read."
[08:41] * Proverb giggles, nosing through more of the books.
[08:42] * Snowshoe continues down the line, looking over at Jauni. "They have books in your Stable?" she asked casually.
[08:43] * Jauni nods at Snowshoe, "Yeah, Princess Spera has a personal library. Nowhere near this though." She pulls a book off the shelf and looks at the cover, 'Daring Do and the Zebrican Adventure.'
[08:43] <~Reverie> Blackout steps up to a shelf, and starts parousing the shelves, blinking. "Luna's Luaded Guide to... nevermind. I'm good."
[08:44] * Snowshoe blinked. "Princess who now?" she asked, overhearing Blackout. "Oh, that sounds fun!" she said with a grin.
[08:44] * Proverb flaps up to the higher shelves again, pulling down a rather large book, flipping through it. "'If everyone fought for their own convictions there would be no war.' Huh."
[08:46] * Jauni flips open the cover of the book, and looks up at Snowshoe, "Princess Spera Longcaster, of my Stable."
[08:46] <~Reverie> "Snowshoe... I'm just going to pretend I didn't hear that..." Blackout says with a chuckle.
[08:47] * Snowshoe blinked again. "Not a real Princess though, right?" she asked, grabbing another book and letting out a squeal of glee. "Poetry!" she said happily, flipping through it. "Holy shit, they have the poem I learned to read with!"
[08:50] * Jauni blinks at Snowshoe, "What? Real Princess? Princess Spera is a real princess as well as Princess Celestia and Princess Luna were!"

[08:51] <~Reverie> Blackout and Reverie cough simultaneously. "Let's not argue the validity of tyranical rule." Blackout says with a snicker. Knowing that was only partially in political correctness.
[08:52] <Proverb> "Y-Yeah..."
[08:52] * Jauni rolls her eyes and goes back to read the Zebrican Daring Do book.
[08:52] * Proverb is nosing through some comics.
[08:52] * Snowshoe let out a snort at what Jauni said, still flipping through the book. "Then why isn't she in the old stories?" she asked, before reading another poem. "I am not dead, I have only become inequine. That is to say, undressed myself of laughable prides and infirmities..."
[08:54] * Reverie returns to quoting. “You're not like the others. I've seen a few; I know. When I talk, you look at me. When I said something about the moon, you looked at the moon, last night. The others would never do that. The others would walk off and leave me talking. Or threaten me. No one has time any more for anyone else. You're one of the few who put up with me. That's why I think it's so strange you're a fireman, it just doesn't seem righ
[08:59] * Snowshoe smiled happily as she looked around. "So glad I learned to read. Hey, Blackout? Can I take this book?" she asked, indicating her poetry book.
[09:00] * RainDancer ([email protected]) has joined channel #DeadCityOps
[09:00] <~Reverie> Blackout peers through a hole in the shelves. "Yes... but we will stop by the Scribes on our way out to have it index'd."
[09:01] * Snowshoe nodded. "Of course," she said, looking back at the book. She read her favourite quote from it, and her favourite quote in general: "Boldly they rode and well, into the jaws of Death, into the mouth of Hell." She balanced the book on her back as she trotted along the shelves.
[09:01] * Proverb is giggling at the comic she's reading.
[09:02] * Jauni is engrossed in the Daring Do book.
[09:02] <~Reverie> Blackout trots over to Jauni. Looking over her shoulder.
[09:04] * Snowshoe trotted to an aisle, looking at the book spines. "Zoodoo for Eggheads: A Beginner's Guide....Zebra Spirits And You..." she had reached the Neigh Orleans section.
[09:04] <~Reverie> Around them about ten other scribes of the SR are working diligently to make sure it ALL gets indexed properly.
[09:06] * Snowshoe dusted one off. "Oh, this one is interesting. It's a military report...Incident 441 - Cauldron Bayou Vertibuck Crash..."
[09:06] * Jauni looks on, smiling. She doesn't quite notice Blackout
[09:06] <Proverb> Swept would be interested in that one.
[09:08] * Reverie blinks and looks over Snowshoe's shoulder. "All the way up here? In a depository? Wow somepony dropped the ball."
[09:10] * Snowshoe shrugged. "Might have gotten mixed in. Who knows?" she looked around some more, playfully bumping into Reverie as she passes. "Hmm...Peace and Prosperity: Where We Went Wrong, by Amani Raha."
[09:10] * Reverie offers a hoof. "Can I get that log?"
[09:10] * Snowshoe nodded and floated over the report for Reverie. "Enjoy."
[09:12] * Reverie smiles. "Thanks." he trots after Snowshoe quietly, that damned scent eating at him.
[09:12] <~Reverie> Blackout prods Jauni lightly. "Enjoy comics?"
[09:14] * Jauni jumps, nearly lifting off the ground, "Wha!?" She looks over and up at Blackout, "Comics?"
[09:15] <~Reverie> Blackout nods slowly. "Mmmhmmm, I like them too."
[09:15] * Proverb also apparently likes them.
[09:16] * Snowshoe hummed as she continued along. "Economics according to Keys...State of the World: The Pony/Zebra War...damn, I can see why this was all hidden."
[09:17] * Reverie sighs. "Because it is slanderous... and the population would actually stop to think about what was going on around them..."
[09:18] * Snowshoe nodded, looking over at Reverie. "Think it would have changed things?" she asked, picking up a copy of Politics in Review.
[09:18] * Jauni nods with Blackout, not sure exactly what to say.
[09:18] * Reverie holds up the book he was reading. "Fahrenheit 451, three lines in and I could see why it was banned, it criticizes the MoI and the Hotshots to shit and back, and the wartime culture and government."
[09:19] * Snowshoe shrugged. "I mean if ponies read these. Think we'd all be here?" she asked, setting the book back on the shelf.
[09:19] <~Reverie> Blackout smiles to Jauni, "Well k'mon now, open it back up, I was reading too. Sorry if it's annoying, the shoulder reading I mean."
[09:19] * Reverie smiles. "Who knows." he smiles faulters a little... damned scent.
[09:21] * Snowshoe noticed the smile falter and tilted her head. "You okay, babe?" she asked softly, so the others wouldn't overhear.
[09:21] * Reverie sighs. "I'll be fine..." he says trotting to the next shelf.
[09:22] * Snowshoe watched him go, then continued to look around. "So what else do they have here, aside from books? Any art, or music?"
[09:23] * Proverb is curled up in an empty space on said shelf, reading.
[09:23] <~Reverie> "No... not unless it was seditious or slanderous. Oftentimes are was a lot harder to prove to be that way, modernist and all that."
[09:24] * Jauni shakes her head and reopens the book, continuing to read, murmuring a little and slightly squinting
[09:25] * Reverie watches Jauni carefully. "Need more light?"
[09:25] <~Reverie> *Blackout
[09:27] * Jauni shakes her head, "No, I'm fine."
[09:27] <~Reverie> Blackout chuckles and smiles. "You sure, you're squinting quite a bit there."
[09:28] * Jauni frowns at Blackout, "I'm fine."
[09:28] <~Reverie> Blackout raises his hooves, "Alright, alright." he returns to his browsing the shelves.
[09:29] * Snowshoe nodded, looking down a row of books. She accidentally boops Provy's backside with a hoof as she drags it along the books, laughing a little. "Well, at least this is something," she said, finding a book that looked interesting to her. "Inferno...Book One of the Celestial Comedy..." she read the back. "Doesn't sound funny." It actually hit a lot closer to home.
[09:30] * Jauni continues reading and murmuring.
[09:30] <~Reverie> "It isn't... comedies can be either tragic or comical... probably the former of the two." Reverie mumbles, remembering why he came here and then feeling it wasn't quite time as he had planned.
[09:31] * Snowshoe blinked and decided to put this book on top of the other one she was taking. "Dumb use of the name," she commented.
[09:32] * Proverb is curled up with a good mystery book!
[09:36] * Reverie nods lightly. "I guess." he checks his watch. "Maybe I should be getting back to work..." he says with a sigh.
[09:37] * Jauni sighs, closing the book and standing, she sets the book on her back and approaches Blackout, "Could you get them to copy this?"
[09:37] <~Reverie> Blackout chuckles. "Hey Jauni, what's your definition of friendship?"
[09:37] <~Reverie> Blackout also nods to the request. "Certainly."
[09:37] * Snowshoe shook her head. "You deserve some time to relax, Rev," she said, trotting over to catch up to him. "We also need to talk," she said quietly. "You seem...off today."
[09:38] * Reverie looks back and nods. "A little I guess." he twitches some.
[09:38] * Jauni blinks at Blackout, "Friendship...?" She shrugs. "Haven't thought about it."
[09:38] * Snowshoe motions for him to follow, and heads toward a quiet, empty corner of the depository.
[09:39] * Reverie trots after Snowshoe, not in his usual peppy attitude.
[09:40] * Snowshoe set the books down on a nearby table and turned to look at Reverie. She gave him a hug. "I really have missed you, you know."
[09:40] <~Reverie> "Perhaps."
[09:40] <~Reverie> Blackout chuckles. "Think about it sometime Jauni, it's a funny thing."
[09:41] * Jauni frowns and sits down aganst a wall.
[09:41] * Snowshoe blinked. What a strange way of answering. "Busy week I guess?"
[09:41] <~Reverie> "Sure." Rev answers simply. He doesn't look very enthralled.
[09:42] * Snowshoe narrows her eyes a little. "What's eating you? You know I don't like this runaround stuff," she said softly. "You know I'm here to help."
[09:43] * Reverie considers and leans forward, whispering in Snowshoe's ear. "Maybe it was that another stallion was eating you?" he says before backing away and trotting off.
[09:45] * Snowshoe stood there stunned for a moment as she tried to put pieces together. When it clicked, she grabbed her books and hurried after him. "Wait! Reverie!" she called out, drawing alongside him. "Wasn't a stallion. Long story. Let me explain, start to finish, then judge." She said it quickly, so he wouldn't have time to speed away.
[09:45] * Reverie looks back at Snowshoe. "What's there to explain? You missed me and probably found a nice substitute, I understand completely. Maybe I'll go find a substitute perhaps?"
[09:48] <~Reverie> Blackout trots over to Proverb. "Sergeant, what's the kicks?"
[09:48] * Jauni sighs and rubs her eyes
[09:48] * Snowshoe grunted in response. "Wasn't a stallion," she repeated. "Eden. Friend of Adagio's, a functioning herm. We were in the Tavern, Adagio was going to use Eden to fix her...problem. I was in heat, and drunk out of my mind, but at least for my part, we just cuddled. Eden knows I'm taken, too." She sighed. "There. Start to finish."
[09:50] * Proverb looks up from her book. "O-oh, I found a r-really good book Captain. It's uhm, Serclop Holmes."
[09:51] * Reverie leans over to Snowshoe. "I would believe you... except if that were true the scent wouldn't be so distinct on your backside... I appreciate you adding insult to the sucker punch, my intelligence must be in question perhaps." he muses.
[09:52] <~Reverie> Blackout smiles. "The... goodness that name sounds familiar."
[09:52] * Snowshoe frowned, looking back over the event in her mind. Alcohol and heat were a bad mix, she eventually decided. "Look....hate me all you want, but what's done is done. It was a mistake, a one time thing. I wanted to be with Adagio, that's all." She looked around, making sure nopony had been listening, then looked back. "I still love you. More than you can even guess."
[09:54] <~Reverie> "Mistakes are funny, they hurt those closest to you. And drinking that much too? Goodness you must have had a nice evening to have an auro like that, it's making Willpower bonkers in the back of my mind."
[09:54] <~Reverie> *aura
[09:56] * Snowshoe shrugged and sighed, sitting down. "I'm not going to beg for forgiveness or keep grovelling, Reverie. I explained myself, and apologized. I know I can't change your mind," she said softly. "And yes, drinking that much. You know I'm an alcoholic, violent kleptomaniac, just some of my many /endearing/ traits," she said the last bit bitterly, more to herself than anything else.
[09:59] * Reverie chuckles. "You really should try to curve that drinking, I mean I could have sworn you promised to do that. As I curved my anger. But I guess promises are like sand through a sifter, there and gone in a blink right?" he snickers softly. "I... yah' know I had hoped to propose tonight to you here, but I'm flatly disconcerted at how easily you expect me to take this like a cool spring breeze over a field of poppies. I don't ask you to g
[10:00] <~Reverie> I don't ask you to grovel, but I didn't sign up for that, so maybe I should run off and get drunk and have company, hell nows how easily I could make it happen nowadays." he draws out a small case and looks down at it before stowing it away. "I should be going now."
[10:00] <~Reverie> *knows
[10:00] * Jauni would speak up, but isn't in the mood to be crass as usual.
[10:01] <~Reverie> Jauni can't hear that, they're far away.
[10:01] * Proverb nods to Blackout. "Y-Yeah... it's r-really good."
[10:02] <~Reverie> Blackout smiles before looking off across the room expectantly. No resounding cries of joy... this didn't seem good. He leans down to Proverb. "Wasn't Rev supposed to be...?"
[10:02] * Proverb nods, fidgeting nervously. "Y-Yeah..."
[10:02] * Snowshoe just sat there, listening to him. "I'm fucking trying!" she said at long last. "But it's hard! And I wasn't expecting you to just give up it, I just don't know what else to say!" she blinked and her jaw dropped when he showed her the case. She was rendered speechless, and just hung her head. An observant pony would notice her shaking, though she managed to sob quietly.
[10:04] <~Reverie> "I'll see you later Snowshoe when I'm feeling less empty and more something, Willpower went and stole all my emotions, probably some Goddess damned self defence mechanism my shitty little mind devised for times like these. I didn't sign up for that." he says trotting away.
[10:06] * Snowshoe still said nothing. After a solid minute she threw the hood over her cloak over her head and trotted down the aisle toward the door. She said nothing to the others. As she passed Reverie, she floated out the revolver she'd carried and set it at his feet. She felt entirely deflated, and unable to say much.
[10:08] <Proverb> "Oh no..."
[10:09] * Proverb slips off the shelf, looking after Snowshoe, and then at Reverie.
[10:10] * Reverie was already gone, Snowshoe must have set the revolver on the ground randomly.
[10:10] * Snowshoe then placed it on a table near Blackout. Either way, heading toward the railcar.
[10:11] * Proverb looks at Blackout, and then gallops after Snowshoe. "H-Hey!"
[10:12] <~Reverie> Blackout just blinks. "That... derailed liek a railcar tumbling down a shaft..." he looks down at the ornately crafted revolver that Snowshoe had left. "Oh my..."
[10:12] * Reverie is now known as Blackout
[10:12] * Snowshoe glanced over her shoulder at Proverb, face mostly covered in shadow from the cloak. "What?" she managed in a small voice, not slowing down.
[10:13] * Proverb catches up with Snowshoe all the same. "Wh-wh-what h-happened...?"
[10:13] * Jauni blinks at the scene that just happened, everything going over her head since she didn't have proper knowledge of any of this.
[10:14] * RainDancer ([email protected]) Quit (Connection closed)
[10:14] * Blackout turns to Jauni. "Let's keep looking around yes?"
[10:14] * Snowshoe looked forward again. "Just...me being me. Big ol' fuckup. Go on back, have fun. I'll see if there's another railcar back."

[10:15] * Proverb stands in front of Snowshoe, frowning. "What did y-y-you d-do?"
[10:16] * Snowshoe looked over at her again. "You really want to know?"
[10:16] * Proverb nods.
[10:18] * Snowshoe found a bench and sat down, hanging her head. "Was in heat, got drunk. Went to Adagio's room wth her and a herm named Eden. Reverie....smelled her. Eden. He has every right to walk off, I fucked up. Gotta live with it now," she explained to Proverb.
[10:18] * Adagio ([email protected]) has joined channel #DeadCityOps
[10:19] * Proverb blinks, and then bristles. "You did WHAT?!" She screeches.
[10:21] * Snowshoe glared at Proverb. "I don't need you chewing me out too, for fuck's sake!" she snapped, standing up. "I lost the one good, solid thing in my fucking life because I was a fucking idiot! Say whatever the fuck you want behind my back, but I don't need you rubbing this in!" she reeeled back a hoof, then remembered who she was yelling at. She'd never hit Provy, no matter what, so she turned and ran.
[10:24] * Jauni winces at the noise, and mutters to herself, then nods to Blackout, "Yeah. Too much noise."
[10:24] * Proverb would have beaten Snowshoe into the ground if she had, so it was probably good she didn't. Instead she just blinks, staring after Snowshoe. "If you ever do that again I'll fucking end you!" She yells after Snowshoe.
[10:24] <~Blackout> Snowshoe runs headlong into the same airlock they entered through, it's closed, confused looking scribes watch Snowshoe go.
[10:25] * Blackout sighs. "I feel that Rev's plan didn't go so well... my oh my..." he says before looking through volumes of lore next to Jauni.
[10:26] * Jauni aimlessly looks at the titles, squinting a bit as she reads, "Those two in a relationship or something? Not even our reverb's that annoying."
[10:27] * Blackout glares at Jauni. "Rev was intending to propose here, it didn't work apparently. Tell me it's annoying again."
[10:28] * Snowshoe turned around. "Go right ahead! At this point, I'd fucking welcome it!" she yells back at Proverb. "Take that revolver, it's loaded!" she trots over, throwing the hood back and placing a hoof right between her eyes. "Right here!"She seems scarily knowledgeable about where the best place would be. "Unless you have something productive to say, Provy, fuck off!" she turned and punched the airlock door, glaring at one of the Rangers. "
[10:29] <~Blackout> The ranger stares back. "Do you have an ID miss? I wouldn't suggest anything brash, or I will detain you with force." The saddle on his back clicks off safety in warning.
[10:30] * Snowshoe grunted. "Specialist Snowshoe, DCR," she said, rattling off her ID number. "Left my card in my other barding. Now, you going to open the fucking door, or do I open it with your head?"
[10:31] * Proverb snorts. "Oh yeah, just like you 'fucked off' with that 'Eden' mare."
[10:32] * Jauni levels her eyes at Blackout again, "It's annoying. I hate emotional garbage, you know this. Yes, I suffer my fair share too, and I regret that I do. Just because it's a part of life doesn't make it any less annoying."
[10:32] <~Blackout> Three rangers surround Snowshoe. "I'm sorry, that is not a compliable answer, threat level raised, please place your hooves behind you head." The apparent leader instructs. "Threats will not be tolerated."
[10:33] * Snowshoe turned to Proverb, glaring. "You really want to fucking do this?" she asked, trotting over and looking down at the mare. "Now? You really want to taunt me, /now/?" she asked, glaring over at the Rangers. "The fuck are you, some kind of robot? Look it up in the Celestia damned database!" she put her hooves behind her head anyways.
[10:34] <~Blackout> The three rangers more or less tackle Snowshoe.
[10:35] * Blackout nods to Jauni. "Fair enough. But at least you have a friend right?"
[10:35] * Snowshoe grunts in pain, but finally shuts up.
[10:35] * Proverb snorts. "I trutsted you Snowshoe! Apparently I was wrong to do that." With that she whirls, storming back the way she came, tears glistening in her eye as she approached Blackout and Jauni.
[10:35] * Jauni shrugs, "Maybe?" She nods, "I guess."
[10:37] <~Blackout> One ranger sits on Snowshoe, another draws out hoofcuffs and the third starts to remove all Snowshoe's weapons. "Your rights are now forfeit, if you are smart you will cease and desist." On the other end Blackout looks up and spots Proverb, she looks pissed... "Sergeant?"
[10:37] * Snowshoe grunted, and it was a good thing her only weapon was with Blackout. She opened her mouth to retort, but the adrenaline was wearing down, so she shut up, perhaps wisely.
[10:37] <Proverb> "Snowshoe... cheated on Revvy..."
[10:38] * Blackout blinks at Proverb.  "You... clever joke yes?"
[10:38] <Proverb> "No. She went and got fucking druck, and then got laid."
[10:39] * Blackout sighs. "Where is she now?"
[10:39] * Blackout turns back to Jauni. "Sorry Jauni, I'm now involved I suppose."
[10:39] * Proverb snorts. "Bitch just got arrested."
[10:40] * Jauni nods, then looks at Proverb and Blackout. Deciding descretion is the better part of staying the fuck out of where your nose shouldn't be, she trots off to a further in portion of the repository.
[10:41] * Blackout blinks. "Really? Rangers actually arresting rather than destroying? That is friggin awesom- I mean..." he sighs. "Outfuckingstanding." he turns and heads for the main foyer. At the same time Adagio is riding one of the cargo elevators down to said foyer, where Snowshoe is cuffed, floored, and detained.
[10:42] * Proverb trots after Blackout. "Hey... Captain? Uhm, can I have the revolver... I'm need to find Reverie..."
[10:42] * Snowshoe watches Blackout trot in and groans. "Oh, no. Fuck this. I've already been humiliated and suffered enough. Don't even say anything, Cap, just shoot me. Literally. Or give me the gun, and I'll do it myself."
[10:42] * Blackout draws the revolver of insane craftsponyship and floats it to Proverb. "Keep it safe."
[10:42] * Adagio looks at the scene below her as the elevator comes to a stop, "The fuck is this?"
[10:43] * Snowshoe groans again at the sound of a familiar voice and closes her eyes, burying her face on the ground.
[10:43] * Blackout looks over at Adagio. "You watch her language, I don't need it right now." Three rangers stand over Snowshoe, one filing a report. A group of SR scribes watching in awe in the background.
[10:44] * Proverb nods, holstering it in her barding. She looks over at Adagio, slowly shaking her head, before trying to figure out where Reverie had gone off to.
[10:45] <~Blackout> Reverie is not even in Kansass anymore. Long, long gone. Blackout sighs and looks down at Snowshoe. "Forgive me if I wish to not toss fuel on the fire. You've already been arrested it seems."
[10:46] * Snowshoe doesn't even deem it necessary to reply, at this point emotionally spent. She doesn't even look up from the floor
[10:46] * Blackout shakes her head. "Sergeant, fill your charge in please." he says to Proverb, regarding Adagio.
[10:47] <~Blackout> *his
[10:48] * Proverb nods. "Yessir." Sighing, she looked over to Adagio. The revolver that was counterpart to Adagio's was holstered onto her tac vest. "Sorry about... this."
[10:49] * Adagio trots over and looks at Blackout before looking to Proverb and frowning, she's for once wearing a simple set of fatigues and has her revolver in a holster against her breast unloaded, a patrol cap is carefully folded in one of the breast pockets of her uniform and she shakes her head, "Can you tell me why my marefriend is under arrest Sergeant?"
[10:49] * Blackout turns and starts talking with the ranger in charge of the watch quietly.
[10:49] <Adagio> "And why you're carrying the counterpart to the revolver I'm currently carrying?"
[10:51] <Proverb> "Because, Snowshoe here cheated on Reverie, who was going to propose to her tonight. As you can see, things didn't go over very well."
[10:51] <Proverb> "She's lost my trust, as well as his."
[10:51] * Snowshoe grunted. "Adagio knows, she was there," she eventually says. Her voice is hollow, quiet.
[10:52] <~Blackout> Reverie would be sad that Provy is putting words in his defunct mouth.
[10:52] * Proverb is trying to make a point.
[10:52] * Adagio looks at Proverb and sighs, "Yes, I was there it was an evening for me and Snowshoe happened to partake, this is an issue?" she looks at Proverb and waits.
[10:52] <Adagio> "Sergeant?"
[10:53] * Snowshoe lets out a bitter laugh. "Is this an issue? Adagio, I can't even begin to describe the level of fucked up I reached."
[10:53] * Blackout sighs. "Please get the detainee on her hooves." Two rangers lean over and hoist Snowshoe up. Blackout looks over to Adagio and shakes his head.
[10:54] * Snowshoe thanks the Rangers by spitting at the one who had been sitting on her back. Heavy buck + heavy armour + light mare = no fun.
[10:54] <~Blackout> The ranger clamps her cuffs a little tighter for that.
[10:55] * Proverb frowns. "And you didn't think to stop her from fucking 'partaking' and breaking her promise to Rev? Hmm? Not to mention, you went on an Op with me in a compromised state. You think it's all about you, don't you?"
[10:56] * Snowshoe glared at Proverb. "This is all on me, don't you /dare/ include Adagio in this," she snapped.
[10:56] <Proverb> "Shut up bitch!"
[10:56] * Snowshoe lunges at Proverb, but reality ensues, and the cuffs cause her to faceplant into the ground.
[10:57] <~Blackout> Snowshoe is promptly pressed into the floor by a ranger, lightly albeit. But Snowshoe isn't moving anymore. The rangers and Blackout just watch, this issue needed to be sorted between them, he would step in shortly enough anyhow if needed.
[10:58] * Adagio rolls her eyes, "Sex is sex, love is something else. And yes I was and still am suffering from Nyctophobia Sergeant, but that has no bearing on this situation, I had no idea about her promise to Reverie aside from that they had talked about marriage." she steps over to Snowshoe and puts a hoof on her shoulder, "Love stop this."
[10:58] <~Blackout> One of the rangers pushes Adagio back, she never got the hoof to Snowshoe.
[10:58] * Snowshoe glared at that Ranger. "Don't you fucking touch her."
[10:58] <Proverb> "And you better watch yourself Specialist, or I'll beat your cheating ass into next week."
[10:59] * Blackout shakes his head. "All of you, please be quiet." he asks softly.
[10:59] <Adagio> "Permission to speak freely Captain?" she looks at Blackout.
[11:00] * Blackout looks over to Adagio. "Granted. One at a time please, and if you yell or curse I'll be upset. That goes for all of you. Are we clear?" he looks between Snowshoe, Adagio, and Proverb.
[11:00] <Proverb> "Yessir."
[11:00] * Snowshoe simply grunts in response.
[11:01] <~Blackout> "Also... Snowshoe... I would do what the nice Rangers ask, they don't normally take prisoners well."
[11:01] * Adagio nods and addresses Blackout, "Thank you sir, I propose that Sergeant Proverb is far to emotionally invested in this situation to perform her duties effectively and should be removed from the premises in order to allow for the proper performance of the duties of all involved."
[11:02] <~Blackout> "Request denied, anything else?"
[11:02] * Snowshoe rolled her eyes at what Adagio said. "Hey, I have a novel fu-...suggestion. Instead of blaming everypony else that doesn't deserve it, let's uncuff me, and bring me home, so I can get my stuff and go back to Manehattan."
[11:03] <Adagio> "Yes, sir, I would like to request that this be handled somewhere less... public?" she sighs as Blackout cuts down her hope for an easy solution.
[11:03] <Proverb> "Sir, permission to find Major Reverie and stop his regression back to Willpower?"
[11:04] <~Blackout> "We're alone here Corporal. Just us and the rangers. I can take this clear to the capital if you want cameras." he looks over to Proverb. "You're dismissed, find the major."
[11:04] * Snowshoe blinked at what Proverb said. She hadn't even considered that until now. "So is that a no for letting me go home?" she asked.
[11:04] * Adagio looks over at Proverb and nods curtly, "We'll talk later Sergeant."
[11:05] * Proverb nods, saluting before heading for the elevators. She's pretty sure where to start looking for Reverie...
[11:05] * Blackout stares flatly at Adagio. "You best tread carefully here corporal. It seems your actons have made a poor statement."
[11:05] <~Blackout> Proverb's path is clear, she can easily start searching.
[11:08] * Proverb heads through the stations, all the way back to where she had done her initiation a few months ago, trudging through the bodies that still scattered the area and heading for the place she had first found Reverie, when he was still Willpower...
[11:08] * Adagio nods to Blackout and sighs, "Sir," she looks at him and sighs, "My actions have a limited bearing on this situation, I did invite Snowshoe to take an evening with me and Eden, but I did so under the impression that Reverie and she had a relationship much like mine and Frost's, I was ill informed it seems," she looks over at Snowshoe with a 'we need to talk.' look and returns her
[11:08] * Adagio attention to the matter at hoof...
[11:09] <Adagio> "I find it difficult to believe that her having sex is something that is punishable by arrest however."
[11:09] * Snowshoe sighed. "For fu-..." she ended up looking at Adagio. "I snapped, threatened the gate guards."
[11:09] <~Blackout> "Arrested for that? Oh no, she threatened the officers here."
[11:10] <~Blackout> "Then she resisted detainment and threatened a superior in rank, then spit on one of the rangers afterwards."
[11:11] <Adagio> "Sir might we drop the formalities for a moment?" she looks at the buck who'd saved her life twice over, "We've been through too much to stand on rank where emotions are concerned."
[11:12] <~Blackout> "I won't let my emotions dictate what is prim and proper, I nearly lost my love doing so, Adagio. But I will be frank with you about this if you like."
[11:13] <Adagio> "Thank you Blackout," she smiles lightly, "Things obviously got out of hoof, emotions were running high and Proverb's emotional attachment to Reverie was clouding even her judgement, and yet you let her stay and exascerbate the situation, why?"
[11:13] * Snowshoe looked between the two from her position on the ground, then sighed and closed her eyes. Quiet was probably the best for now.
[11:15] <~Blackout> "Because her, like Snowshoe, like you, are all emotionally invested, I would rather you all yell it out and put everything in the open then tell one or both or all of you to fuck off. Then I've got a boiling pot of cess underneath my units. Now I'm done having you pick at my judgement in this matter, but I swear we will have this situation in the light before I leave here. Snowshoe, what is this all about please."
[11:16] <~Blackout> Meanwhile Proverb searches the testing ground for Reverie, she likely finds him, sitting near where he was first found after being lost for so long.
[11:16] * Adagio nods and looks at Snowshoe sighing but smiling lightly, "I can understand that Blackout."
[11:17] * Snowshoe opened an eye and looked up at Blackout. "I was in heat, and got drunk. Decided to join Adagio and a pony named Eden. Reverie caught wind of it." She closed her eye. "Can I go home yet? Or do I have to sit through a few hours of bureaucratic bullshit, then rot in a cell back at HQ?"
[11:18] * Proverb approaches Reverie slowly. "R-Rev... Willpower...?"
[11:18] <~Blackout> "Thank you kindly. I want ever damned angle of this, because I've got one hurt officer, and Rev don't bruise easy." he looks over to Snowshoe, "I wouldn't let you leave with the mess you've helped make, don't you dare imagine it." he says softly.
[11:19] * Snowshoe grunted. "Oh gee, thanks, Cap'n. I suppose you have a way to fix it?" she asked. "Because I sure as fuck don't. I fix machines...I don't know how ponies work."
[11:19] <~Blackout> Reverie answers Proverb softly. "What is it Proverb?" he asks rather flatly.
[11:20] * Blackout turns to Adagio, ignoring Snowshoe's comment. "Ineed your statement as well please."
[11:21] * Proverb trots over to Reverie, sitting down next to him. "I... I was w-worried about you..."
[11:21] * Adagio nods to Blackout, "It's true, I had invited Eden and Snowshoe to spend an evening with me, I did not realize that my actions would lead to this. If she and Reverie had any agreement concerning sex I was unaware." she sighs, "I would like to speak with Reverie as well if only to return something that no longer belongs to me, should that be his decision."
[11:21] <~Blackout> Reverie just stares into a shattered support column. "Perhaps."
[11:22] * Blackout nods slowly. "Thank you kindly. But now I have my own opinion to render about this whole mess. Sound fair?

[11:22] * Adagio nods at Blackout 's comment, "Sir."
[11:23] * Snowshoe grunted in affirmative.
[11:23] <Proverb> "Perhaps? You... you say it as if I don't care..." She carefully wraps a wing around Rev. "But it do, alright? Don't you go regressing on me."

[11:25] <~Blackout> "As it appears to me, all opinions aside, here is what I see, I see you, Corporal, doing whatever you like however you like, using the word 'I' a whole lot more than can be not wreckless in nature. This issue regarding Eden sounds to be a desire that you had, I'm not discrediting Snowshoe here, she knew better than getting blindly drunk, especially if her and the major had something of an agreement. [11:25] <~Blackout>  or I'll detox you myself." he has more to say, but he wants to hear comments.
[11:27] <~Blackout> Reverie shrugs. "What's the point? I can't feel. It's worse than being angry all the time."
[11:27] * Snowshoe nodded after a moment. "I'm trying...." she said softly. She sighed and looked up at Blackout and Adagio.
[11:28] <~Blackout> "Trying, right... I might have taken the word had yu not just said how blindly drunk you were." Blackout comments dryly, not offensive nor cold, more neutral than anything.
[11:28] * Snowshoe looked over at Blackout. "You ever have an addiction, Captain? A real one, as much physical as mental?"
[11:29] <~Blackout> "Yes Snowshoe, I have."
[11:29] * Snowshoe nodded. "Then you know it doesn't just go away in a day, or two, or a week."
[11:29] * Adagio looks at Blackout and nods her head sadly, "Sir."
[11:30] <~Blackout> "It's been quite a while since you and Reverie were made together yes?" he looks over to Adagio. "Drop the sir for now, you said that yourself, call be what you like, but not sir."
[11:30] <~Blackout> *me
[11:30] <Proverb> "No, Rev. I know you can feel. I saw it whenever you... were with Snowshoe. You were happy. Hell, you're happy when I'm around too. I /know/ you can feel, and feeling something is better than nothing..."
[11:30] <~Blackout> "Is it? I..." Reverie trails off.
[11:31] * Snowshoe blinked. "I...guess. Made together?"
[11:31] <~Blackout> "Marefriend Snowshoe. He confided he was trying his best to get you to curb your habits non-forcefully for weeks on end."
[11:32] * Snowshoe looked down. "...yes. And I did! For a time. But just...this whole thing with Adagio coming up, and that one stupid decision....fuck it, nothing I say excuses it, does it?"
[11:33] <~Blackout> "I'm not looking for excuses."
[11:33] <~Blackout> "Excuses are what cancerous issues are built off of."
[11:34] * Snowshoe shrugged. "They don't do much anyways."
[11:34] * Proverb nods. "It is. If you can't feel anything, then how can you react to it? How can you know what to do to make things right, or to tie things up and leave them be?"
[11:35] <~Blackout> "Agreed." he looks over to Adagio, "You had something to say?"
[11:35] <~Blackout> Reverie looks over to Proverb. "Do I look like a stallion with answers?" he asks honestly.
[11:36] <Proverb> "No, you look like a stallion that was just betrayed by the mare he loved, and now doesn't know what to do about it."
[11:37] <~Blackout> "Just... sit here... I guess? The wind feels nice... kind of soothing." Reverie murmurs.
[11:37] <Adagio> "No, Blackout," she says, "What I have to say regards something that has no bearing on this issue." her tone is flat, "You know my stance on sex, that sex and love are two different things." she looks at him, "Anything else I say is the outside looking in."
[11:38] <~Blackout> "Well, that's likely the problem isn't it, not everypony holds that same view Adagio. Which brings us full circle to the 'I' guy point. Even with the sergeant, she had a point regarding that attitude. And it correlates fine to the 'sex' issue. It's not my issue, until it is, and it is my issue now. Because I can see a decent connection there."
[11:40] * Snowshoe grunted at nothing, really. "Can we dismiss the guards and uncuff me? I'm not going to go off again," she said softly. The hollow tone was still in her voice, and she had a look that said she wasn't in any shape to actually do much.
[11:41] * Blackout looks over to Snowshoe. "No, I can't. You're spending an evening detained. I see no reason to let assault of military personnel, resisting arrest, and attempted assault of a ranking soldier as a reason to let you go."
[11:42] * Snowshoe nodded. "Noted." She looked off to the side, staring at a bookshelf as she thought things over. "Fuck..." she mumbled to herself, quite unintentionally, after a few minutes.
[11:42] * Proverb nods, hugging Reverie tight. "Yeah... we can sit here if you want." A few tears shone on her eye. "I... lost my trust for Snowshoe... Sh-she betrayed you, and, and that's not something that's easily forgiven..."
[11:42] * Adagio looks at Blackout and nods sadly drawing and setting the revolver on the floor before removing her rank and DCR insignia, "Then as my actions have caused this I'm as much a perpetrator as she is." she looks at Blackout and her expression is empty, "Sir."
[11:42] <~Blackout> Reverie shrugs. "I... just wanted time to digest it... I didn't want excuses..." he murmurs to Proverb.
[11:43] * Snowshoe looked over at Adagio. "No," she said firmly. "Put your damn badge back on. This is on me, and nopony else."
[11:43] * Blackout looks down at the insignia and revolver. "Breach of contract." he says simply. "You have a responsibility to those around you, and this isn't a solution."
[11:45] <~Blackout> "You both hang up your guns because you both dropped the ball? How many times have we all dropped the ball before and now because someponies cvalling you on it you fold? And you're leaving MY FRIEND, YOUR FRIEND, YOUR LOVER in a shithole. No. NO. NOOO."
[11:48] * Snowshoe shook her head. "Not why I gave up my gun, Blackout. I gave it up because Reverie gave it to me. It has a lot of meaning behind it, and after this, I damn well don't deserve it. I'm going to still fight...just not with Defiance. I don't stop because I dropped the ball, Cap...otherwise I would have turned back home four years ago."
[11:48] <~Blackout> Reverie sighs. "They're all suffering because of me I would guess."
[11:48] * Blackout faces Snowshoe. "Did he specifically at any point say specifically he was done with you?"
[11:50] * Proverb shakes her head. "No, they aren't. They are suffering from their own choices. You haven't done anything wrong."
[11:50] * Snowshoe shook her head. "No, but I'd damn well guess he is. I brought him back from the brink. I made him happy as can be. And then I grabbed his heart and crushed it underhoof. Sure feels final to me."
[11:50] <Adagio> "No sir, I'm just taking charge of my actions, she wouldn't be here like this if it weren't for my actions. This wouldn't have happened if I had been thinking." she looks at Blackout, "And that revolver is it's twin, I was given it for much the same reason, my actions have caused harm to the relationship. Thus I am no longer fit to carry it."
[11:52] <~Blackout> "You... guess?" he says flatly to Snowshoe. He looks over to Adagio. "Pick it up." he says softly. However it resounds with conviction.
[11:53] <~Blackout> "Dammit Adagio pick it up or I'll cache in one of my two life debt favors like  a desperate gameshow participant."
[11:54] * Snowshoe nodded. "As much as I want to fix it...like I said, I don't know how ponies work. I don't know what to say, or do, to make it right." She looked over at Adagio. "At least take your badge back. You did nothing wrong here, and you're still DCR."
[11:55] * Adagio picks her badge and rank up off the ground and sets them on her uniform.
[11:55] * Blackout shakes his head. "Let me make it simple, it's equal fault for now... But I want Reverie spoken to before you burn all the bridges. Are we clear?"
[11:56] <~Blackout> Reverie slumps. "Which I was apart of..."
[11:57] <Proverb> "No, you were not. Snowshoe got drunk and broke her promise to you all on her own. It's not your fault. That was her decision."
[11:57] * Snowshoe nodded. "I...yeah. Alright." She tilted her head a bit to crack out a stiff neck. "What happens now?"
[11:57] <~Blackout> Reverie stares at the ground. "I pushed too hard..."
[11:58] <~Blackout> "We find Reverie, bet's on Proverb having done that. Also, uncuff Snowshoe for now." One of the rangers begrudgingly does so. "But... stay closeby."
[11:58] * Adagio looks at Snowshoe and shakes her head, "Yes I did, in this case my inviting you to join Eden and myself for that evening was in poor judgement, my actions hurt Reverie who is a friend who has put so much on the line for me, you my marefriend, Proverb who I already have issues with thanks to something else, and Blackout here has been privy to everything else that I've been through."
[11:58] * Adagio she looks back at him, "Agreed."
[11:59] * Snowshoe nodded and got to her hooves. She looked over at the Rangers and bowed her head. "Sorry. 'bout that." She looked back at Adagio. "I still don't blame you. In the end, I made the call. You don't blame the gun, you blame the shooter." She looked over at Blackout and motioned. "Lead the way, Cap'n."
[12:00] <~Blackout> "Alright, then letme try and catch Proverb on the radio." he pulls out a small radio set. "Sergeant Proverb... you read?" he tries.
[12:01] <Proverb> "No you didn't. You should have been able to ask her-." She blinks as her radio crackles to life, pressing the button and talking into it. "Y-Yessir. What is it Captain?"
[12:01] <~Blackout> Reverie sighs. "I tried hard to fix that too..."
[12:01] * Proverb just hugs Reverie with a wing.
[12:01] * Blackout breaths a small sigh. "You find the Major?"
[12:02] <Proverb> "Yessir... I... h-he's not himself though..."
[12:02] * Adagio leans down and collects the revolver and re-holsters the weapon, "You were in a compromised state both under the influence of alcohol and your heat, in that case I could have gotten you to go along with just about anything if I made it seem like a good enough idea. I'm sorry that I put that in front of you and that it lead to this."
[12:03] * Blackout frowns slightly. "I would think so, is he where I figure he is?"
[12:03] <Proverb> "Y-Yessir, right where I met him the first time."
[12:03] * Snowshoe trotted over and hugged Adagio and round the neck. "Whatever...it happened. No more blame, I just...I just want to fix this now," she said softly, letting her go.
[12:03] * Blackout nods lightly. "I'm bringing Adagio and Snowshoe, you will remain checked, are we clear sergeant?"
[12:04] <Proverb> "R-Roger that Captain."
[12:06] * Adagio hugs Snowshoe back and nods, "Easier said than done," she looks at Blackout and nods, "Lead the way."
[12:07] * Snowshoe snorted bitterly. "I know. And that's what scares me."
[12:07] <~Blackout> "Be there in a tick." he turns to Snowshoe and Adagio, "Follow me please." he turns again and heads for the cargo elevator.
[12:07] * Snowshoe follows after Blackout.
[12:07] * Proverb puts her radio back, and just hugs Reverie.
[12:07] * Adagio trots along with Blackout.
[12:09] <~Blackout> The group travel a short while, before skipping the shit out of a few areas before arriving in the testing ground, where Proverb and Reverie are sitting on a pile of rubble, looking away from the group out through a collapsed portion of the station onto the cityscape.
[12:11] * Proverb is hugging Rev, wing rubbing his back, not saying anything.
[12:11] * Blackout halts a few feet away, turning to Adagio and Snowshoe, "Game on. You know the rules."
[12:12] * Snowshoe looked over at Proverb and Reverie and said nothing. She's clearly beyond apologetic, looking deflated. She looked at Blackout and nodded. "Great pep talk, Cap'n," she mumbled.
[12:13] * Adagio nods and steps towards Proverb, "Sergeant you and I have unfinished business and I think we should let them talk for a bit."
[12:13] * Blackout doesn't respond to that. On the other end Reverie doesn't notice anypony else really. He sighs softly. "I tried really hard, right?"
[12:13] * Snowshoe trotted forward as well. She looked over at Proverb and Reverie, then takes a deep breath. "Rev...?" she asked softly.

[12:14] * Proverb nods to Rev. "Of course Reverie..." She looks over at Adagio and Snowshoe, nodding. "I'll be nearby Rev..." She gets up, stepping away from Snowshoe and Reverie, nodding to Adagio.

[12:17] * Adagio takes a few steps away from Reverie and Snowshoe before looking at Proverb once more, "Sergeant, I wasn't forthcoming about my phobia because I felt the need to figure it out on my own, twenty years of flying solo isn't easy to erase, my actions were inexcusable and they could have gotten both of us killed." she looks at Proverb, "For what little my word is worth I'm sorry."
[12:18] * Blackout stands back and lets it all play out, feeling exhausted before heading back to join Jauni.
[12:20] * Snowshoe winced and trotted up to sit next to him, separated a little. "I..." she looked down at her hooves. "Sorry. But that doesn't cut it, does it?" she asked softly. "I just...fucked up. You were...still are....everything to me. And I hurt you, and I wish I take it back. Because I can't...I want to fix it. Please, Rev..." she finally looked over at him. "Let me fix this."
[12:21] <~Blackout> Reverie stares blacky into the snowy cityscape... "I pushed too hard, didn't I?" he asks softly.

[12:23] * Proverb nods slowly. "Corproal, your actions were unexcusable yes, but they are forgiveable, in due time. Truthfully... I have lost a lot of respect and trust for you and Snowshoe, but that is not to say you can't gain it back. It will take a lot of work, and at the time being, I do not feel comfortable going on patrols with you anymore."
[12:23] * Snowshoe shook her head. "No. You were right. All of it." She edges closer. "I broke two promises. Two major ones. This? All of this was me. Not you. Not Adagio. Not anypony else."
[12:23] * Blackout trots lightly up to Jauni and smiles. "Good at deflecting utside influence aren't you?"
[12:24] * Jauni jumps again, "Wha!?" She looks up at Blackout, "Jeez. Would you not do that..." She sighs.
[12:25] <~Blackout> Reverie shakes his head. "It is... not for either of us to decide on that part. But I will be honest, it wasn't that you did what you did, what hurt was the justification. It made me feel so useless because I knew I hadn't helped at all, and maybe even made the problem worse."
[12:25] * Blackout chuckles and sits down next to Jauni. "Well at least you have comics to take back with you right?"
[12:27] * Snowshoe looked forward. "I...just wanted to explain myself. Nothing could justify what I did. I just wanted you to know the whole story." She looked away, quiet. "I can't excuse it...and excuses don't do shit anyways."
[12:27] * Adagio looks at Proverb and shakes her head, "No, Sergeant, I don't think I can be forgiven," she looks over at Snowshoe and Reverie, "You, Snowshoe, Reverie, Blackout and so many others have been hurt by my foalish actions, because it was all about me..." she sighs, "No more, I can't live day to day and do as I please. Time to grow up and start thinking about what I'm doing."
[12:27] * Jauni blinks at Blackout. "Um... no. Not risking further stable mockery."

[12:29] <~Blackout> Reverie sighs silently, a small inkling of feeling returning to his stone heart. "I... can forgive you."
[12:31] * Jauni frowns, "I've been seen as unstable by the crew I used to direct around, a hardass by others and a freak by others out of the stable."
[12:33] * Snowshoe nodded. She chanced leaning toward him a little. "Thank you," she said softly. "You're...my rock. And I need you." She drew a hoof across her eyes, sighing softly. "I know I broke your trust today. I just...really hope I can fix it again."
[12:33] <~Blackout> "Who has seen you outside in our time?" he asks curiously.
[12:33] <~Blackout> Reverie nods lightly. "You want to know a starting place...?"
[12:34] * Snowshoe nodded, straightening up again and looking over at him. "What?"
[12:34] * Jauni gestures towards the carts, "Um... the military. You can't hide everything beind a wall of profesionalism. Learned that the hard way..."
[12:35] * Blackout smiles a little. "We're ugly as sin Jauni, I am thankful we've come as far as we have, I just beg you to give us time. Antidote broke the news yesterday. It's just now sinking in..."
[12:36] <~Blackout> Reverie looks to Snowshoe. "Get a detox, I can't help you, and you can't help you. It might not stop the mental addiction, but it will stop the physical, maybe you can overcome one alone."
[12:37] * Jauni sighs, "Won't change the general opinion. At least Princess Spera is our leader, she's probably the most attractive one of us."
[12:38] * Blackout nudges Jauni. "I think you all look fine. Trust me, everything will be alright."
[12:38] * Snowshoe nodded. "Absolutely," she said sincerely. "I can try overcoming the one addiction...but I don't want to do it alone," she said softly, holding out a hoof. "If...you still want me around, that is."
[12:38] * Adagio looks at Proverb and sighs, "Have you seen me Proverb?" she drops all pretense and speaks plainly with the pegasus mare, "I had no friends, only the occasional town that would trade with me at the gates, and even then I was under their guns the entire time." she shakes lightly, "The symbol that everypony could use as a scapegoat for the shit they lived with every day, I survived
[12:38] * Adagio by cutting off any hope of friendship."
[12:39] <Adagio> "This is completely different from how I survived and I've tried to acclimate," she sighs, "It's not easy."
[12:39] * Jauni looks at Blackout with a solemn expression, "Yeah, the starponies will thrive, and perhaps everything will turn out fine."
[12:40] <~Blackout> "That's the hope isn't it, I sincderly do hope. We are trying our damndest. Forgive us for our caution, but the gene randomization was neccesary."
[12:42] <~Blackout> Reverie extends a hoof. "I said I would see you later, I... i never said I was abandoning you..."
[12:42] * Jauni shrugs, "Don't really care about that much, won't affect me any... What about you?"
[12:43] * Proverb nods. "I know, but yet you still somehow managed to make friends here, and then betrayed their trust. As for getting that trust back, prove to me you can think not only for yourself but for the others around you."
[12:44] * Blackout smiles. "Just more to add to the melting pot, but I already see better behaviour among starponies than that of the general population. I've removed all restrictions regarding that matter personally."
[12:44] * Proverb smiles weakly at Adagio.
[12:44] * Snowshoe nodded slowly. "It just...really felt like it. I...over-reacted. Didn't think straight," she explained. She tried to say something else but just gave up and threw her forelegs around Reverie's neck, buyring her face into the fur there and letting out a soft sob. "Fuck...sorry. I'm being pathetic," she mumbled after a moment, not pulling away.
[12:45] <~Blackout> Reverie feels a warmth inside his just could heart, a kindling of feeling! He smiles a little. "We... all need a good cry once in a while..." he hugs Snowshoe back lightly.

[12:46] * Jauni shakes her head, "Again, it really doesn't affect me. I'm still restricted to the stable under Princess Spera's order until I'm released by my therapist."
[12:47] * Snowshoe nodded, feeling rather thankful when she felt his hoovers around her. "I....ruined your surprise," she said after a moment. "Not exactly the best of marefriends, am I?"
[12:48] * Blackout smiles. "Well if you need somepony to come by who isn't trying to psychoalalyze you, I can stop by."
[12:49] <~Blackout> Reverie sighs softly. "We all... make mistakes... I was angry... I am sorry, but then that went away, all I had left was damned despair and his two compadres, fear and regret."
[12:49] * Jauni nods, "Yeah, but you've got enough to take care of, I think."
[12:50] * Adagio looks at Proverb, then seems to deflate and sits down hard on her haunches staring at her hooves, "All the more reason to cut myself away from the situation, I'm not good at change." she turns her head to look at Snowshoe and Reverie, "I'm terrible to my friends, I'm selfish, and reckless to the point of risking your and my lives. Then I nearly destroy Snowshoe's relationship with

[12:50] * Blackout chuckles. "Just a disciplinarian these days, I relieved myself of active command of field units, now I advise and instruct." he nods. "I always try to have time for friends.:
[12:50] <Adagio> "Why risk having me around?"
[12:52] * Jauni shrugs, "Do you really see me as a friend? Why?"
[12:52] * Snowshoe nodded, still not letting him go. A not-so-rational part of her was telling not to, or else he'd disappear. "Don't. Reverie, no matter what I did, I still love you. You're, no lie, what keeps me going some days, and sane on most others," she said softly.
[12:53] <Proverb> "Because, letting you go would be a greater folly that anything else you've done up to this point. It's not what friends do."
[12:54] * Blackout nudges Jauni. "As a bit of poetic language..." he ahems. “We cannot tell the precise moment when friendship is formed. As in filling a vessel drop by drop, there is at last a drop which makes it run over; so in a series of kindnesses there is at last one which makes the heart run over.”
[12:54] * Jauni gives Blackout a 'you're an egghead' look.
[12:55] * Blackout gives Jauni a 'You're giving me the egghead look when I'm a grunt?' look.
[12:55] <~Blackout> Reverie nods and nuzzles Snowshoe's cheek softly. Works were beyond him now, Willpower was back.
[12:57] * Snowshoe closed her eyes and enjoyed the nuzzle, even chancing the faintest hint of a smile. She said nothing herself, she just relaxed against Reverie, not even realizing Willpower was back. She was too concentrated on having partly fixing a major part of her life.
[12:58] <~Blackout> Reverie sighs softly, but not out of despair this time around. "It's nice to feel again."
[12:58] * Adagio looks at Proverb and sighs, "After all this you'd still consider me a friend?" she smiles sadly, "Why? I've been consistantly terrible to the people close to me, and yet here you sit telling me the same thing as Blackout did, that we're friends. How am I supposed to react? What am I supposed to do? I'm not worth it..."

[01:00] * Jauni rolls her eyes, "Prose."
[01:00] * Snowshoe nuzzled him softly. She felt a huge pang of guilt at what he said, but had no words to speak her mind, and sorry just wasn't enough.
[01:00] <~Blackout> "Poetic language is badass, Chiefy." he smirks.
[01:00] * Jauni sighs, "yeah, okay." She lifts her book again and squints.
[01:01] <~Blackout> "Get some glasses Jauni. Or I can send you to get contacts if you want a stealthy approach."
[01:01] <Adagio> "To make sure that they're alright," she smiles at Snowshoe and Reverie, "My fuck up shouldn't destroy their lives." she unclasps the holster and passes it to Proverb turning to leave.
[01:01] <~Blackout> Reverie hears Adagio unclasping something that was connected to his heart, he looks back. "What are you doing, Adagio?"
[01:02] * Snowshoe opened her eyes and looked over at Adagio, having almost forgotten...well, everything. She tilted her head in confusion. "Adagio?"
[01:02] * Jauni frowns, "My eye would shred contacts. And glasses are weird."
[01:03] <~Blackout> "...Lubricate it..."
[01:04] * Adagio looks over at Reverie and Snowshoe before shaking her head, "Just making sure that you were both alright, I'm not going to let my stupidity hurt any of you again."
[01:04] <~Blackout> Reverie shakes his head. "Listen... Adagio... leaving would hurt more... we're all tired as hell, why not we get some sleep?"
[01:05] * Jauni looks at Blackout plainly, "Lubricate. Metal. Think about it a minute Blackout."
[01:05] * Snowshoe shook her head, standing up. "No," she said firmly. "I nearly lost one pony I love today, I don't want to lose another. Reverie's righ...let's just...all get some sleep." She looked over at Reverie. "Should I....go to the Tavern tonight? Or can I still stay with you?"
[01:06] <~Blackout> "Nope, thinking is cruisecontrol for cool."
[01:06] * Proverb holds the holster and revolver in her hoof, looking between them all. "I think... it's best if I hold onto these... until you have mended your problems." She says.
[01:06] <~Blackout> Reverie smiles a little. "You can stay with me Snowshoe, Adagio can as well for extra awkward if she likes... I'm just tired is all..."
[01:07] * Jauni sighs, "Lubrication doesn't help when a metallic surface rubs aganst a softer, easy to shred piece of fillament."
[01:08] <~Blackout> Reverie nods to Proverb. "Yes... likely best... thank you Provy..." he smiles weakly.
[01:08] * Snowshoe nodded at Reverie, then looked at Proverb. "Good idea. Sure ain't fit to carry that anymore. And...I know my word is worth less than the dust under your hoof...but I'm sorry, Proverb. For everything."
[01:08] * Blackout blinks at Jauni. "It shouldn't rub considering the eye should have some sort of lubrication already right? Although we can still get you one for the regular eye and then a monicle..." he smirks slightly... teehee.
[01:09] * Adagio looks at Reverie Snowshoe and Proverb in turn before sighing, "No, I've already screwed things up badly enough, I need to go."
[01:09] * Proverb nods, sliding the second revolver onto her tac vest, next to the first. "I'll keep them safe." She looks over to Snowshoe. "Prove that you can be trusted again, and you are forgiven."
[01:09] * Adagio turns and heads for the metro tunnels.
[01:10] <~Blackout> Reverie sighs. "Well, I can't stop you Adagio, but I think it's a mistake, don't be a stranger." he turns back to Snowshoe, "I'm heading to the station nearby, there's a comfy military cot calling my name."
[01:11] * Jauni thinks, "Well, considering we can cry, yeah, but metal is still metal, moisture or not."
[01:11] * Snowshoe nodded at Proverb. "If only I knew how," she said softly, looking over at Adagio. "Wait! Hold on." She trotted toward her. "Before you go...I still love you both. And please, don't blame yourself, Adagio." She looked at Reverie and nodded. "Alright," she said softly.
[01:11] <~Blackout> Reverie climbs to his hooves shakily. "If you want to come along Snowshoe... I don't mind."
[01:13] * Adagio looks at Snowshoe and shakes her head, "I can't not blame myself, I wasn't thinking." she takes a step back further into the tunnels, "I love you but... I think this is for the best." she turns and flaps kicking up some dust before disappearing into the metro system.
[01:13] * Snowshoe watched Adagio leave and winced, trotting dejectedly toward Reverie. "I knew it," she mumbled to herself.
[01:13] <~Blackout> Reverie watches Adagio go, silent as a sentinel overlooking a cathedral.
[01:15] <~Blackout> Reverie sighs. "Let's get to sleep for now Snowshoe, it's been a long day."
[01:16] * Snowshoe nodded. "Yeah, let's," she said softly, looking him over. "Still....still got enough strength to carry me?" she asked.
[01:17] <~Blackout> Reverie nods to the mare. "Yes... I do."
[01:18] * Snowshoe climbed up onto her usual spot on Reverie's back. She opened her mouth to ask something, and had even started to say "I-" before deciding against it and closing her eyes.
[01:19] <~Blackout> Reverie doesn't ask as he likely carries Snowshoe and Proverb to sleepytimes, Jauni and Blackout are paused.
