DiscoDude: ---BEGIN SESSION---
DiscoDude: Session logging commenced
Casper: - EXCHANGE 2/9 -
Casper: Lithia is still screaming bloody murder even as your truck slows its trajectory, Ratatoskr. (Your truck isn't currently connected to any zones.)
Casper: Meanwhile, Alexx manages to drive the truck successfully into the Green Depot in spite of some chaotic misadventures involving kitchenware malfunctions, where there are many pedestrians going about their day...
Casper: !roll 1d6 1d6 1d6
DiscoDude: <@Casper> rolled 1d6 for 1 [1d6 = 1]; 1d6 for 2 [1d6 = 2]; and 1d6 for 3 [1d6 = 3]
Casper: Hungry For Bitter | Cool | Savory
Casper: (You'll have to roll one of those flavors if you intend to serve these customers.)
Casper: Seems this is mostly a fisherman's wharf with a selection of bars.
Casper: Meanwhile, Rachelle has likely gotten over herself regarding Greto's difficulties while he was trying to make life difficult for Dovelia.
Casper: (It is a new exchange, one not beset with compelled moping.)
Casper: Finally, Thorium Chef arrives at her destination to find...
Casper: !roll 1d6 1d6 1d6
DiscoDude: <@Casper> rolled 1d6 for 1 [1d6 = 1]; 1d6 for 1 [1d6 = 1]; and 1d6 for 3 [1d6 = 3]
Casper: People Hungry For Bitter (x2) | Savory. Looks like this is the Redlight district (as much as Hawa-2 can have districts); bars as far as the eye can see, with a few grills attached to the pubs.
Reality Glitch: Rachelle isn't going to let Greto's petulant attitude sabotage her chances at playing to her strengths. (She's never seen a more knowing indulgence in the sunk-cost fallacy.) She pulls out her phone, plugs in her earbuds, and sits so that Greto can't see the screen from the truck's kitchen while she tries to feed to bird with on scone by using a hot-wiring tutorial video to help calm her selective claustrophobia.
Reality Glitch: ((Creating an advantage; I assume with Sneaky.))
Dovelia: (hey to be clear what should i be doing rn)
Dovelia: (i still don't quite understand this challenge)
Casper: (Defying the results of a face-off? Can that be done?)
Reality Glitch: ((The results were that Rachelle wouldn't act in that exchange of the cook-off.))
Casper: (No, that was because of a Compel.)
Reality Glitch: ((Face-offs are compels.))
Ratatoskr: Ratatoskr tries his hardest to tune Lithia out for a moment as he starts experimenting with the controls, namely by pushing his feet towards the break pedal with a tiny bit of care, as to slowly put the vehicle towards a full stop. After setting himself straight in the seat, he tried to push the other pedal and move the steering wheel towards Purple Depot.
((And here is where i put my hopes on Careful +1 again...))
Casper: (Separate compel.)
Casper: (The face-off was about whether the team goes through with Greto's don't-go-anywhere plan.)
Reality Glitch: ((I remember three compels, two of which were face-offs.))
Ratatoskr: !f 1 (Overcome the Limbo that is our souls I mean to get to the purple district)
DiscoDude: <@Ratatoskr> rolled 4dF+1 for 3 [4dF = [+][-][+][+]]
Reality Glitch: ((The first compel/face-off was to go through with the trade.))
Reality Glitch: ((The third compel/second face-off was to not do anything after the failed attempt to swipe the keys.))
Casper: (Face-Off 2 was about whether you left the central depot; that one you lost.)
Casper: (The non-Face-Off compel was what sat you in a corner for that Exchange.)
Reality Glitch: ((No; pretty sure it was to swipe the keys.))
Reality Glitch: ((Which is why she can't leave; she can't drive the truck....yet.))
Casper: (... It seems we failed to properly solidify what our goals were for the Face-Off.)
Reality Glitch: ((It seemed pretty clear with a figurative carrot being literally dangled in front of her.))
Casper: (I was at fault too for not making it clear what I wanted Greto's victory to mean.)
Casper: !end
