In the menu, un-register the Medicine bag, register the Bicycle, teach Return over Ember, use the Center. Head to the amusement park and enjoy a romantic encounter with N.

- Head south for the Cold Storage. Heal to full if necessary, then teach Rock Smash to Pignite, replacing Work Up. Dodge all the trainers inside and enter the storage container to find Zinzolin and face some more Team Plasma Grunts. Start with the center grunt and proceed to the right.

- Enjoy some conversations with N and Bianca, then receive the Lucky Egg. Move on, dodging spinners and such until your Repel wears off. When it does, use another Max Repel, and equip the Lucky Egg. Head downstairs and begin the first Team Plasma gauntlet. Your goal is to exit the cave with exactly 10 Return PP, exactly 0 Heat Crash PP, and any amount of Flame Charge or Rock Smash PP. Adjust your move selection on the fly in the cavern to satisfy these requirements.

Right before you enter the sand, use a Max Repel, and use your Max Elixir on Emboar. In the Desert Resort, head off to the southwest and pick up a hidden Rare Candy (image forthcoming).
- Head to the Relic Castle and begin the final Team Plasma gauntlet. To defeat these trainers, you primarily want to use Heat Crash and Flamethrower, because you will want your Return and Brick Break PP for the final gym. There are suggested move choices below, but every Pokémon can be OHKO'd with any attack, except the Garbodor.

- Enjoy the needlessly epic badge check sequence, then enter Victory Road proper and engage the final trainer.

- Whimsicott: Flamethrower. Outspeeds you, so you're going to take some damage.
- Zebstrika: Return. Also outspeeds you, and may well paralyze you. Just fight through it.
- Press on. When your Max Repel falls off, refresh it, then use the three Rare Candies and heal up with a Hyper Potion. If you reach level 62, replace Flamethrower with Flare Blitz. Dodge the final spinner, then simply head for the Pokémon League.

- Skip the Center, unless you're really paranoid, in which case pick up a few Full Restores. Begin with Grimsley.

- Scrafty: Brick Break.
- Krookodile: Brick Break.
- Liepard: X Speed, Flamethrower. (You outspeed Liepard at level 62)
- Bisharp: Flamethrower.
- Upon reaching level 62, replace Return with Flare Blitz.
- Head to Marshal. Equip the Charcoal, Decide on healing depending on your current HP:
- 172 HP is always safe,
- 137 HP is almost always safe, unless you don't Burn Sawk and Stone Edge hits AND criticals (9% Chance). (Remember if you die Max Revive doesn't cost much time).

- Throh: Flare Blitz. You will take 61 recoil damage from Throh.
- Sawk: Flamethrower, Flamethrower, Flamethrower, Flamethrower.
- Conkeldurr: Flare Blitz/Blaze Flamethrower. You will take 56 recoil damage from Conkeldurr.
- Mienshao: Flare Blitz/Blaze Flamethrower. You will take 46 recoil damage from Mienshao, for a total of 102 after Sawk. Dying from this recoil damage is okay.
- If you have a Super Potion and have 60-81 HP, you do not need to heal at this point. Otherwise heal to full.

- Head to Shauntal. Use a Super Potion if you did not heal before Caitlin.

- Golurk: Blaze Flamethrower.
- Jellicent: Blaze Flare Blitz. (Recoil 54)
- Chandelure: Blaze Flare Blitz. (if you got the Cursed Body activation, Blaze Heat Crash is a 62.5% range) If you die, Max Revive, Flamethrower, Flare Blitz.
- Take the statue downstairs. Head to the champion's room, and enjoy a conversation between N and Alder, followed by a cutscene. Go to N's Castle.
- N's Castle
- Head directly to N's throne room. Enjoy two cutscenes, followed by a forced battle against Reshiram. Chuck a Master Ball at him. Hope for good stats as you take on the champion.
- N 5
- Zekrom: DragonBreath, DragonBreath, (DragonBreath). If Reshiram dies, bring out Emboar and finish him off with Brick Break.
- Carracosta: Slash, then die. Bring out Emboar and Brick Break. If Reshiram is already dead, Return, Brick Break, and pray he doesn't crit you.
- Klinklang: X Attack, X Speed, Brick Break. (Hyper Beam 51-61, @-2 104-123) (Thunderbolt 33-39, @-2 66-78)
