- Goth came from Punk, and most of like either The Cure, other goth music, metal, or Industrial like Nine Inch Nails. Emos came from, we don't know what, maybe they tried to rip off the look of Goth, and they like shitty music. Goth started in the late 70's/early 80's, Emo started in like 2005 or some shit
